The Compound Mesh Overpants blend the abrasion resistance of premium grade cowhide with the breathability of Fighter Mesh, resulting in the perfect balance of comfort and protection. Dual full-length side zippers make for an easy on/off procedure and the adjustable waist straps combined with a ratchet waist closure allow for a fine-tuned fit. Once the pant is on, you'll notice expansion panels in critical areas which aid in both overall comfort and keeping the removable/adjustable CE knee impact protectors in their proper position. If you're looking for serious warm weather protection for your bottom half, your search is over.

Chadrick D: I have road tested the Compound Overpant and they perform well. I wanted the mesh version for hot weather.Aug 24, 2014
Robert H: Had these since last year since I needed a leather overpant to make changing at work easier. never laid the bike down in these, but feel more protected than jeans or jeans with Kevlar.
the ratchet buckle holds tight. the leather mesh make riding on hot days bearable. took these to a local tailor and got them hemmed up as the were slightly long.
only annoying thing is when taking them off, is your heel catches the loose thin inner nylon mesh a lot, but it's not that big a deal.Aug 9, 2014

Raul A: I was told these were comfortable so I bought themFeb 11, 2014
Jonathan M: I chose these overpants because it fit the look I am going for while also offering the amount of protection I want. Since I am in Florida, I need pants that breath in the heat and these look like it will do. Will need to see them in person to give a true review though.Jan 22, 2014
Annette F: Great reviews, durable and offer excellent protection. It is a gift for my son's 18th birthday so I really wanted something goodJan 19, 2014
Steve O: I was interested in the compound textile pants and saw these mesh ones on sale for the price of most denim riding jeans. I couldn't help myself. These should work perfect for some added protection over my work pants and for some sport touring. I'm still blown away at the 159.00 price, what a steal!!Dec 27, 2013
dylan w:I do not have any full-height boots, but I have worn these over my alpinestars boots as well as my weatherproof gaerne boots, the latter of which are somewhat bulky. There was a lot of room to spare, I am pretty certain that they would fit over any boots made, full height or otherwise. I bought mine a size larger than i would normally even though they are sized to go over. They are great- its been almost two years and no issues. Been through deserts and urban commutes and everything in between.Jan 15, 2014
David G:They should do, the cuff is leather split with two press studs and the zips run down the outside. They are are really loose fit. Wearing ski pants underneath they are a snug fit. With jeans they are roomy. For a long ride I would wear articulated knee armour underneath and take out the knee pads as they might not stay in position in a crash, but for short rides around town the knee pads are more convenient. These pants are really versatile for different conditions.Jan 14, 2014
Cole L:Definitely. The pants have a side zip from hip to cuff and button snaps at the bottom making getting them on and off a breeze. The cuffs of the pants when closed and snapped are still a very wide boot cut. They should have no issue going comfortably over even a beefy off-road boot like the tech 3's.Jan 14, 2014
t. eric s:No hip armor in mine. The side zips go all the way to the waist, probably why it doesn't have any. The knee armor is removable and can be moved up and down in 3 pockets. I had to have mine moved up by a tailor, 30" inseam.Apr 22, 2014
A shopper asked:I'm planning on wearing this for my commute to work, over dress pants (which are generally quite thin). The reviews seem to indicate that the pants are generously sized and may be worth ordering a size down and still have it work as overpants.
I have a Natural waistline of 34, wear jean size 33/34. Should I go with a 32 or a 34?Apr 23, 2013
BRad704:Sounds like we are about the same size. I can say that the 34 waist seems to only be '34' with the ratchet adjuster all the way tightened. But I don't know that the length on the 32 will be long enough to cover your work pants at the bottom unless you tuck them in your boots.Apr 24, 2013
RevZilla:The Icon Compound Mesh Overpant has a zipper to interface into Icon jackets. If your jacket is a different brand, the pants come with both sides of the zipper so you can take your jacket and pants to a tailor and have them attach one side of the pant zipper to your jacket.Jan 23, 2013
