Icon Compound Mesh Long Gloves
Great gloves for the price
Overall pretty good gloves. Construction seems pretty solid so far - a few pulled threads here and there, but nothing to suggest they won't last. Air flow seems pretty good, though I haven't worn them in any really hot weather. Have not tested their protection, but I have no reason to think they would not keep the skin on my hands. My only complaint would be that I wish the fingers were a bit shorter. I bought a medium and there's just a bit too much finger room for my liking (and a size down would be tough to get my hand into). Otherwise I'm very happy with them, especially at the closeout price.

be careful whit your fingers length
I bought the small size. The little problem is that my hand fits correctly based on table size provided by revzilla. But the big problem is that my fingers are short and in this model looks like you need to have a very long fingers. Actually I bought an amazon product Fox medium gloves and I don't have any troubles.

Great summer gloves
Revzillas video is spot on. Not race glove protection but the best you can get while staying cool. Good icon quality leather on the palm, the plastic armor is a bit annoying at first but I no longer notice it. The textile on top is cool and looks durable. Its getting a bit fuzzy but no big deal. The best protection for the street during summertime.

Excellent cost/benefit ratio, good product
I have been using First Gear WP gloves for rainy/winter conditions in Brazil, where I live, but I also need summer gloves. I decided to have a try at these gloves.
I found out that they are comfortable, the fit is very good, protection is excellent and they ventilate well.
I recommend this product.

Great fit and protection
This was my first shot with Icon gloves. Been eyeing them for months and finally did it. I absolutely love them. Told my wife they're the best gloves I've owned as of yet (and I've had some rather pricey gloves... more than 3 times these).
My only "con" for them is they're a little tough to get on and off due to the wrist area being snug. But hopefully they'll loosen up just a tad to make that easier.

Good compromise between protection and airflow
I try to stay with ATGATT, and I ride every weekday (commuting in the NYC area) that there isn't snow or ice on the streets. ATGATT gets challenging when the temperatures go into the 90's and 100's, especially knowing I could get stuck in traffic. So airflow is important. I've never been down in over 80k miles, but my next commute could end that streak, so protection is important. I looked at lots of options, but the ICON Compound long mesh gloves seemed the best compromise, at a good price.
The knuckle guard is rubber. I would rather it had a hard plastic shell for more protection. Some hard plastic protectors at the heel of the hand would also probably add more protection. The goat-leather palm, which wraps around the fingers, is good protection, though at the cost of a bit of airflow. A few perforations in the leather would probably help move air without losing much protection. The seams are to the inside, and some are not quite even. There's one seam that rubs a bit. It will probably wear down and/or soften with time and use, but it's a minor irritation for now.
Again, these are a very good compromise of airflow, protection and price. I recommend them for that balance.
Revzilla has a great selection, great pricing, great product detail (especially the videos) and ships faster than expected.

Great product for the price
They are really great gloves. Comfortable, good range of motion, solid feeling velcro.
My only complaint with them is the opening for the hand is a little small for my wide hands but once they are on they fit perfectly.

Best glove for the money period
1. prefect summer time glove.
I live in Houston .
2. very comfortable.
that goat skin thing is no hype
4. hot days with rain works great.
5. very good protection for textile glove.
This glove is cold below 60 degrees.
Early one morning.it was 66 degrees and my finger were
very cold at 60 mph.
That's not really a con , they were design to be cool.
