The Compound Mesh Long Glove takes the warm weather street glove to over-the-cuff levels of performance. Beginning with a hi-flow mesh chassis enhanced with neoprene flex panels, we added reinforcement via thermoplastic knuckle armor and a Battlehide goatskin palm. Resulting in the perfect blend of comfort, air-flow and protection for performance street riding during the summer months.

Not what i expected I got the gloves when i first started riding a year ago, and to be honest it was a good glove. But then it started to break in and it went down hill...fast. The inside of the glove quality is very poor, it scratches my wrist and all along the insides of my fingers. May 4, 2013
Disappointing quality I had a pair of Icon Twentyniners which fit nicely and seemed to be decent quality, so when I wanted to buy a pair of full gauntlet gloves I thought I would try these out. They are merely OK, not quite as comfortable, the seams inside are a bit irritating. The biggest complaint is that the Velcro on the gauntlet cuff has started to come unstiched after one ride, which is a problem in and of itself, but also calls into question the quality of the rest of the glove and it's ability to protect in a crash. I have requested a return. March 18, 2013
Very Good Glove - with a couple of "Buts" Fit is true to size - palms required a few wearings to break in and feel comfortable. Protection seems to be good, airflow (riding in South Florida) is very good. The gauntlet covers the entire end of the jacket sleeve - more than large enough and adjusts to different size jackets (leather, mesh, mesh with the rain liner in) Now the "buts" - the velcro fastenings on the wrist strap are pulling loose (photo) - with less than a month use. The velcro is also causing "pilling" on the fabric of the glove/gauntlet (photo) - looks bad but it is not a functional problem. Overall very good - very good value for the price, wish the quality control/materials used were better. February 19, 2013
ICON lost the memo about "outside seams" Yes, they are comfortable. Yes, the airflow through the gloves is great. However, unless my pair of gloves is unique, all of the finger seams are "inside stitched" which means that I can feel the seams -- and I don't like it. August 23, 2012
As cool as possible, while still offering protection It's tough to make a summer glove that still offers good protection. There needs to be enough mesh for air to flow, and enough leather and armor to protect your hand. But that doesn't mean I still wish it was cooler. On extremely hot days this glove will make your hand sweat a little, but I didn't notice that until I took my gloves off and then put them back on a few minutes later as I realized they were damp. On 85 degree days, as long as you're moving, you'll forget you're wearing them. August 21, 2012
Just what I wanted I was looking for a pair of gloves to replace the generic dirt bike gloves I used to take the MSF course. I really like the idea of gauntlet length gloves, but was worried about being too hot in the Oklahoma summer. I've had these gloves for a few weeks now (end of July/beginning of August) and am extremely pleased. I've worn them for commutes, errands, and a few trips to the Wichita Mountains (~250 miles) without any problems. I thought they might have been sized tight in the beginning, but I think they just needed some time to break in because the feel great now. These are great gloves if you want the length and protection of the gauntlet and the airflow of mesh. August 13, 2012
Good compromise between sport and comfort I bought these gloves to get a little more ventilation but still keep the protection of a sport glove. I definitely noticed the ventilation in the hot weather (I've used them for about 1000 miles so far). Much less sweat built up inside. The armor on the glove is more rubber/plastic and looks sort of soft. I think it is just some sacraficial material in case of a skid. I hope I never find out if it works, but for a person who is likely to find out, you may want to consider a true sport glove. For comfort, they kind of bunch up because they are so thin, but it has gotten better with break-in. Again, for true comfort, go get the true touring gloves. August 6, 2012
Love these gloves I live in SoCal and it gets warm! The Icon Compound Mesh Gloves are great for warm weather. They breath! They are a little tight getting on, but once over the knuckles fit "like a glove". Thy are well made, look good and have a lot of adjustability to work with different jacket sleeves. They are well worth the money and are my current favorites! July 16, 2012
