Necessity is the mother of invention. And the necessity of hard riding in hot climates dictated our invention of the Icon Compound Mesh jacket. A hybrid jacket consisting of 1.2-1.4mm cowhide in the major impact areas, the Compound has true street legitimacy. But hot weather riding demands active cooling so we assembled the remaining chassis from our abrasion-resistant Fighter Mesh TM . Additional components include articulated back armor plates, ratchet waist adjuster straps, articulated arms, and a full complement of CE approved Field Armor TM Impact Protectors. Awesome Jacket!!!
The jacket is super sweet, and a perfect fit! Great air flow, many features, and lots of protection. Definitely recommend this jacket to everyone! I personally got the one with the Red outlines and I love it! Feels really good, and looks freaken awesome on me when I ride my 2006 Yamaha R6 Raven Edition! Hurry up, and get one for yourself!

This product has great ventilation
This jacket is great for riding around in a summer day. Although it is black it still has enough ventalation to cool you down.

Great jacket, well made, and good fit.
Very well made jacket that should wear well for a long time. Provide lots of protection, especially for a mesh jacket. Yet it still has lots of ventilation. It runs a bit large. I'm 5'8" and 143lbs. A small fits me perfectly. There's still enough room for a sweatshirt under the jacket.

Average Jacket
Jacket is good, leather sleeves and back protector. Air flow is great. Zipper for hooking jacket up to pants but has a lot of slack in it, I can bend right over and it doesn't stretch. Size down from their chart. My chest says I should get an XL, but a large fits correctly. The XL is baggy.

Great jacket, especially with the sale price
So I got this on sale for $200 while I was shopping for a new mesh jacket for hot weather (I live in Hawaii so not only hot but humid too). I use it for commuting as well as some weekend mid day joy rides. While moving, I love the air flow. Very cool in hot temperatures and almost no need to zip the jacket down. I find with the weather here though, I need to take the jacket off immediately upon stopping in order to not soak my shirt with sweat. I still would rather wear this just from the peace of mind knowing that I have leather in the impact areas instead of my full mesh jacket which I could wear off the bike without too much issue. I love the fit, which the sleeves are a little long and sometimes gets in the way of my throttle, and can get uncomfortable, but I figure since I'm a little short and big for my 2x size (5'7" 225), that it's something that I just can't avoid.
Overall I think I would recommend the jacket regardless of the price, but with the price I got it at I feel it was a steal and almost want to buy another if this one gets trashed!

Great price on this jacket, get it
I'm 5'11, 180 and usually wear a 35 dress shirt sleeve length which is an inch longer than average. I have a 32 inch waist and am physically fit. I ordered a large. The jacket adjustable sides are adjusted to their tightest position but its just tight enough. The fit around the waist and chest isn't tight but snug. If you have a slight belly it will likely show. This jacket gives a tailored slimmer cut look in the stomach area. The sleeves are not adjustable in any way and run long, They ride up the back of my summer gloves, I'd guess they are a 36 to 36.5" tailored length. I bought the silver/black from Revzilla and it looks great. The plastic emblem on the back reminds me a little of the transformer symbol but I am not embarrassed. The arms are a little loose around the wrists but don't ride up in the wind. The leather is thick and feels good. The only ventilation in the sleeves are air that goes between my glove which fits inside the cuff and the cuff. I do feel airflow through this gap while riding, and maybe a small amount through the upper venting in the sleeve. The jacket pocket for IPods is not waterproof (wish it were). There is plenty of venting in the chest and back. The sleeves get warm in the sun (All black thick rubber). I have 5 jackets and this is my favorite summer jacket. I like the combination of leather and venting, flows a lot more air than a similar all leather vented jacket. The only thing I don't like is the collar is leather and very rigid and feels like it is pushing into your neck but not overwhelming. Would buy again.

Great protection with great airflow
great jacket. really flows air well, especially once you find out about the shoulder vents (check the video review).
im 6'3" 160lbs 40" chest with a tall long frame. i had worries about length of the jacket and sleeves, but a medium fits me very well. there is enough room to fit a hoodie underneath when the fall rolls around. sleeve length is spot on. im glad i spent the extra money over my budget to get the protection of leather, but still have a jacket that i can wear when the weather is 95+.

This particular jacket is designed for hot temperatures. It does not have a liner as its mission in life is to keep you cool. In my personal opinion it would be too cold to wear at 50 degrees.11 months ago

negative. mine didnt come with a liner. there is enough room in mine to wear a layer underneath during the colder months. the mesh breathes really well so when the temps drop this jacket will freeze you out. if the weather report here says 60 or less, i put a hoodie on underneath. i rode to work the other morning at 38 degrees and had a cold spot or two on the interstate, but otherwise fine with an extra layer in there.5 months, 1 week ago
