Maybe I got a dud? Mine fell apart.
I bought a pair of these gloves and after two weeks the left glove was falling apart, literally. The rubber covering the knuckles cracked & split and came undone from the rest of the glove. This was after 10-12 uses! Perhaps I got a lemon, because the right glove did not do this.

The straps on BOTH gloves around the wrists started fraying really badly. You usually expect a little bit of fuzz, but these were long strands, like a paintbrush. The little leather flap that covers the strap is very annoying to use when you have the gloves on.

Other than the quality issues, the gloves were okay. They were thick & require some break-in, but they were pretty warm getting down into the near freezing temperatures. The waterproof liner is kind of annoying as it is not bonded in any way so it feels like a "glove inside a glove".

I tested them in the rain a couple of times & they remained 100% waterproof, even with the split knuckle. The waterproof liner did it's job.

The fabric portions of the glove around the sides of the fingers began to fray a little in the twoish weeks I had the gloves. It wasn't terrible, but if it continued like that (and the straps) it would eventually become a problem.

I warrantied the gloves & Revzilla made the whole process very painless.

Not waterproof, not durable, not representative of Icon
I bought these as a secondary set of gloves for a long motorcycle trip specifically because of their warmer design and statement that they were waterproof. On the first one, yes, they are warm enough to get through cold mornings and through the Rocky mountains (11k elevation, rougly 30 degrees standing temp). They did not handle a rainy day in the slightest other than to have the lining get all wet and gross.

I expected the bulkiness of the gloves, and was fine with that part. However, why design a glove that has velcro that sticks to all the other parts of the glove causing premature wear? I also found that the liner made my fingertips cramped and ultimately the liner broke free from the fingers anyway. Apparently attaching something with a single thread is a poor design choice as well.

Ultimately, this is a pretty bad example of Icon's product lineup. I'd look for similarly priced options elsewhere before buying this one again.

Great for short thumbs
Fit and finish were great. These fit perfectly for my short thumbs and fingers without extra material. Easy to don and broke in quite rapidly. they are great above 50 degrees. Anything other than a short ride to the store or at highway speed in lower temperatures and you will find that your fingers are rather cold. These are not at all bulky when compared to a true winter glove like those made by HELD that are much thicker. I use these gauntlet gloves in the summer as well where there is sufficient airflow to keep my hands reasonably cool under 85 degrees. They are indeed waterproof.

Sole drawback: the high-viz yellow rapidly picks up dirt and debris, especially from the overcuff when worn under a winter coat.

Warm And Comforable For Cool Days
I like this glove for the color wave and also the function of it. Keeps my hands warm on cool days. I have tried to ride with them on really colder days like 40 degrees. My hands was little numb. But on days like 60-70 degrees is good. They look bulky but to me they are not at all. I like the level of protection they have. In the winter I ride with 2 gloves anyways. Now these and some other warmer ones. Nice to switch out if the weather changes from cool to a lot colder. Overall I am happy with these gloves.

Good fit
These gloves fit really well and have great protection, the only issue I have is the flap over the end of the velcro straps are difficult to deal with once the gloves are on making putting them on and taking them off a little annoying.

Good Glove for 50 degress
I bought this glove and out of the box I didn't like it. It comes very stiff and needs to be broken in. Also, it is much thicker than the pictures make it seem. Expect to get a snow glove in the mail. However, after using it for a couple of weeks now, I love it! It keeps my hands nice and warm with not wind. Now that they are broken in, they are very comfortable and easy to move around in. Check them out!

Fits small
This glove looks great, but for those considering this glove, I strongly recommend you buy a size larger than what is suggested on the fitting chart.

Great Cold Weather Gloves
They are really good for cold weather gloves and because of that they are a little bulky.

This glove is listed as a summer glove. Is it truly a waterproof summer weight glove that can be worn in the warmer months?
Russ B on Mar 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Waterproof, yes. As far as weight they are heavy for a summer glove. My opinion is they are somwhere inbetween summer and winter. Your hands will be hot when its 90plus and cold if its below 60.
How does sizing run? I'm right in the middle of the Large size range, but i've seen reviews saying that they run small.
A S on May 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: In my experience, Icon gear fits big for my body type. I usually fit better with Alpinestars "euro fit" rather than icons "american fit"

With that being said, I bought a medium and it fit very well if not barely small. I normally wear a medium in Alpinestars gloves.

So, yes they do run a bit small.
My size comes in right at 3.5 in putting me at a Large on the size chart. I see some comments saying your should order a size up. Should I go L or XL?
A shopper on May 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you like your gear to fit snug like riding gear should get large. If you like a relaxed fit go bigger
