Excellent for Hot Days Only I have been wearing these pants for 3 months now, and the Air Flow is fantastic. I love riding in these as an over-pant to shorts here in Texas during the summer. The airflow is too much for anything below 60 degrees F. So, they will be put up until next summer. They do fit to size pretty true to size on the waist with the rest of the pant being baggy. They offer pretty good protection. However, since they are an over-pant, they move around quite a bit on the knees. When I wear jeans underneath, the pads are right where I need them. However, when I wear shorts they move around quite a bit. I still believe they would offer decent protection should I take a spill. I would like to mention that they DO NOT go on without taking my boots off. Another reviewer mention that he could put them on over his boots, but I was not able to do that. Then inner lining gets caught on the tread of my boot to the point that you can't get half a leg on. Overall, I am very happy with these, and I hope to get several years out of them. December 2, 2013
Nice mesh over pant but comes with some issues I like these over pants. They function well and are comfortable over shorts and jeans. Easy on and easy off with nice zippered pockets. I do however have some negative comments. The waist strap buckle rivets fell out of the fabric with the second week of having them. I fixed them using some brass rivets with larger heads but feel this is poor construction in the first place. Also I'm 6' 2" with a 36 waist (36 is the size I bought). the knee pads tend to ride up above my knee on the bike and I have to stand up and push them down occasionally so they are seated correctly on my body. The three pockets which allow for knee pad adjustments really are not positions well for anyone over 6' 2". I feel I'm at the height limit of the knee pad location functioning properly. Anthem pants. Good length. Bare bones. Could use more protection. Baggy. August 26, 2013
Awesome They are great. Because you can still wear jeans plus wear these. Very cool feature of an overpant. July 25, 2013
Nice overpant for the daily commute I bought these overpants for my daily commute which is about an hour. I really like the pants because now I don't have to bring extra clothes to work. The fit was great in the waist, I wear a 34 and ordered a 34. the only minor complaint is that I am only 5'7" so in a 34 the legs are too long and the knee pads still sit below my knee in the short pocket. I am actually able to put the pants on with my boots on too which I didn't anticipate. I would recommend this pant for anyone that wanted to wear shorts or work clothes but still have protection for riding. July 23, 2013
Good overpant I was looking for some solid overpants for my commute back and forth to work. Pants are easy to get into and take off. Knee armor is adjustable by means of pockets in the liner. July 22, 2013
Great for really hot summers Shorts + these definietly beats jeans. It's a bit of a hassle to remove them, I wish the zippers were higher so that pants and boots could be taken off independently. Also, hip protection would seem a plus. July 15, 2013
extremely comfortable with great air flow. This is my first pair of mesh protective over pants. Actually cooler than jeans on a 90 degree day. Won't ride without them in the future. July 1, 2013

Roy U: Needed a light airy pant with protection, this had it. With an excellent price also! Feb 25, 2014
Richard B: I live in Southern California, so I hopefully I can throw these over shorts and light pants. Also, my regular pants ride up very high when I'm riding. Dec 30, 2013
Ronald J: I wanted protection when riding in warm weather. They don't get worn as much as the jacket (everyday) but I am glad I have them for group rides. Not many pockets, but nice fit and finish. Oct 20, 2013
brad h: lightweight and breathes well while having good protection for summer use Oct 8, 2013

Nicholas D asked: Do these over pants have long zippers to help get in and out of them while still wearing your street pants? If so, how long are they (up to the knee, up to the hip, etc)? Jan 29, 2014

Tom G: The zippers do not go up to your knees--I have two pair of riding boots, they will go over one, but not the other. Really no problem presented by the jeans underneath.

Aside from that these are my most favorite pants--not too hot, and will keep you a bit warm (with jeans underneath) on cooler rides.

Keith D: The zippers on the legs come us about 1/2 way to the knee. These pants are quite easy to get on over jeans as they are very baggy. Simply step into them. I would say however that removal of your shoes is necessary. Jan 30, 2014

Eric J: They don't have long zippers, maybe mid shin or so. I wear them with jeans underneath all the time and they slide over jeans very nicely. My jeans never bunch up as in pulling then on. Jan 30, 2014

HAROLD V: They go up the pants approximately 3-4 inches. I can get them on with pants underneath without problems. I have to have my shoes off because they will not pass through easily. Jan 29, 2014

Gary P: There is a zipper at the bottom of each leg but they are not very long. 8 inches to be exact. I actually have to remove my boots to get them on. Hope this helps. Jan 29, 2014

Clint C: The front zipper is roughly 7" and the lower leg zips are about 8". I haven't had a problem getting in and out of them. I'm a 31" waist and bought the size 32. Jan 29, 2014

Troy P: They zip up the outside of the leg up to the bottom of the knee. I ride with Corcoran jump boots and they go over those without taking the boots off. Jan 29, 2014

Steven E: These pants do not have long zippers. Still have to remove boots to take off the pants. Zippers come up to roughly mid-calf. Jan 29, 2014

Robert C asked: Is there a connection zipper to attach a jacket? Jan 29, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
J Michael D: Hi Robert,
Nope, no zipper to connect pants to jacket. Had to have mine shortened to fit, but otherwise are nice pants. I wear them over my work clothes - jeans or shorts. Ventilate quite well.

A shopper asked: Are these less baggy than the Hooligan 2? Apr 20, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: We find that the Hooligan 2 and the Anthem both fit about the same, and are on the baggier side since they are over pants. If you are looking for a summer mesh pant that won't be quite as loose, checkout some of the European brands such as Dainese, Alpinestars, and REV'IT!. Apr 26, 2013
