Icon 1000 Women's Federal Jacket
Good quality leather but...
Read a lot of good reviews about the Icon Federal Jacket, so when this item was on closeout, I decided to buy it!!
Was really exciting!!! However.... I ended up disappointed. This is why...
The leather is soft and high quality. No complaints in that area... The style is unique and aspiring too... with the waist belt and collars down, it definitely can function as a regular stylish Fall/Winter jacket...not just for when you are on a bike.
1. However, in "riding mode", the flap that goes up and across the neck makes me really uncomfortable. My neck feels choked and suffocated... much like when I wear turtleneck sweaters (which I don't any more). So if you hate turtleneck sweaters...this might not be for you
2. In 'Riding mode" when collar goes up and across, there is bulkiness in the chest and tummy area. Despite the waist belt that was supposed to emphasize the feminine waist, I felt like I was given a big bosom and unflattering tummy (both of which I do not have in real life hehe). Taking out the vest helps only a little.
3. In 'Riding mode" when collar goes up and across, besides the bulkiness, you can also see the outline of the inner zipper. If you look at the review video by revzilla, in the first min when the female model has her jacket zipped up, you can see the various lines in the front of her chest. Those are from the zippers inside the jacket. There was no way I could avoid those, and taking out the inner vest did not help as well (zipper is on inside flap of jacket, not on the vest). The zipper outlines add to the bulkiness of the jacket.
In terms of size, if this may help you decide... I had ordered a size small. I am 5'5, usually size 6 (US), small to moderate bustiness. The small was snug, but the sleeves were short (a little shorter than my wrist). I decided to go up to M, sleeves were much better...they ended at mid palm with my arms relaxed by my side, so when I ride, they don't go up too much. Also, M has more room for an extra jacket when it's cold. But going up one size does not reduce the bulkiness in front of the jacket. So I had to return the jacket... :( Yes, I know, I know, I am very picky...
I went for the newer Fairlady jacket instead....and I'm lovin' it!

Finally found it!
It has taken me quite some time to find a jacket that fits like this one. I am 5'4 160 (so definitely curvy) and having large breast makes it very difficult to find a motorcycle jacket that fits over them and is not huge everywhere else. This jacket fits like a glove. Not only is it beautiful but it is extremely comfortable and looks amazing on. Protections are excellent. I highly recommend it. My only issue with this jacket is it does not have pockets on outside and can be inconvenient at times, but that is a minor detail.

Lookin Cool feeling Hot
I love this Jacket and would recommend it, although in Australia this Jacket is a bit too hot; I can only wear it in winter. I took the lining out straight away and have never needed it. But in Winter I can wear a t-shirt and this Jacket and not be cold. It also has no outside pockets which is annoying.
I bought this Jacket in Red and its a lot of red. It looks great and fits ok, I am quiet busty and 5'2" so the jacket is a little big. I hardley ever wear it zipped up but it looks great both ways. I would highly recommend this product.

High impact jacket with maximum protection
The package arrived one week after ordering- and I live in Switzerland- so I expected to wait 2-3 weeks...
The jacket suits perfectly, the leather is nice and i wore it during winter (-5°C) just for fun with only a t shirt below and i did not freeze on my bicycle. It is also waterproof during 1h in the rain (not tested on bike yet).
I could not rate the protection and durability but will update this as soon as possible (ealiest at the end of the season again).

Just received my new Icon 1000 Federal Jacket. It is by far the best looking and most protective jacket I ever had. Better made than I expected.

Worth eaten ramen for 1 month to buy this jacket
Some days, I can't decide whether I wear this jacket because I want to go riding, or I go riding because I want to wear this jacket.
I first fell in love with this jacket a while back but saw the price tag, blanched, and told myself "one day." Well, that "one day" happened soon after in the form of me online shopping on Revilla in a not-so-sober state. The next morning, upon being reminded of this impulse buy via the Revzilla order confirmation, I told myself that I was gonna just "try it on" and return it immediately after. It's been one month, and I confess, I still have the jacket. Now for the review:
*Fit: I adore the jacket's cut -- the lapels and belt add so much style, and the belt especially cinches down the waist area, making the jacket look much more feminine than the typical "boxy" leather riding jacket.
I'm 5' 5", athletic (125 lbs) and wear the XS comfortably, with a thin sweater underneath. I've also worn the jacket (with the vest liner) in low 40's and felt perfectly fine.
*Protection: The armor's really comfortable too, and I love how it's removable. I have yet to take it out and wear the jacket while not riding, but the option to do so exists.
*Features: Could definitely have used a pocket on the outside, as I pretty much have to unzip the jacket to access the inner pockets every time.
The leather tassles on the zippers are a nice touch and allow me to easily unzip the jacket even with gloves on.
*Bang for the Buck: The one huge downside of the jacket is that it's not waterproof, despite the high price point. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I've been getting soaked in this jacket when I ride out in the rain. It dries up perfectly fine though.
*Airflow: Have yet to wear the jacket in the summertime, and to be honest, I don't think I can get away wearing it in hotter weather...
*Overall: No regrets, even though the jacket costs as much as my Arai brainbucket. As I said, I feel friggin' awesome wearing this while zooming around on my red Ninja. The style and accompany quality (despite the lack of waterproofing, -1 star) is worth the cost. I will probably buy the black version soon -- just waiting for my next inebriated night to give me the courage. ;)

I just purchased this jacket in red and it is GORGEOUS while being very protective (It's heavy). Mind you, it doesn’t have the ultra-sleek racer look but I feel like a warrior-diva (and I'm new to motorbiking) in it so that is a big plus. I’m 5’5” with a slender/athletic build and ended up with the small to fit my shoulders/arm length properly. The shoulders were a little narrower than I expected. It is very much in the break in phase but is comfortable on and off the bike otherwise. Fabulous.
Burly with a lot of style
Detachable liner has many internal pockets.
2 way zipper and hip zips allow custom hip flair when on the bike.
I'm certain this will make me a better rider!
No external pockets and only one internal pocket on the jacket itself.

My lovely wife loves this coat
She's pretty stoked about getting this as a present. It looks sexy and it's got D3O armor as well, so it's as functional as it is fashionable. It's VERY red, so just be prepared to stand out in a crowd. The red just looks incredible.
