Icon 1000 Turnbuckle Gloves
Great Summer Gloves
I bought these as my first ever pair of motorcycle gloves, and found them to be well worth the purchase. They flow plenty of air on warm days, which is exactly what you want in a light glove like this. Of course due to this, they will absolutely freeze your hands off in the cold, so keep that in mind.
The stitching and seams inside the glove bothered me a little at first as I could feel them a bit more than I'd expected, but they're no big deal and something you get used to.
The fit in the palm is a bit constricting when I extend my hand fully, but they fit just right when my hand is curled around the handlebars. I may have bought a size too small, but I wouldn't necessarily want to go any larger, as there is already room at the tips of a couple fingers. Overall they fit well, but aren't perfect.
Tactile response with these is great.
I'd definitely recommend them if their style appeals to you.

Good riding gloves
For the price point and I got them on sale. They are decent gloves. Not as much protection as I expected but for $50 gloves I think are pretty good. I like the style and how they look. However the fingers are little long size wise which is weird. Because all the other icon gloves I've bought fit true to size.

I'm going to be honest, my first impression of this glove was that it was extremely light. I own a pair of speed & strength and agv gloves, yet these felt far lighter then what I own. Its french cowhide, so it's a leaner hide then what competitors are using. This glove is full french cowhide and once I got over the slim design, I started to enjoy the gloves. I am glad that they have D30 armor, yet I feel like the glove could have a better wrist support at the strap tends to stress my wrist more than it's already in a supersport. Also this glove does not have a palm 'foam' protector as if you were to fall the shock would go directly to your body, yet the leather will do its job for abrasion purposes.
To conclude my rant, I still enjoy the glove. Its fairly light due to the french cowhide, and yet its a cowhide, so it'll save...your hide. The glove is comfortable overall, and feel safe riding with it. This glove was meant to be ridden in the cruiser scene, but I ride it in my supersport because it looks so sick. There are better gloves that offer more protection for a supersport rider, but I know this will protect me.

Great all around glove.
Good fitting, soft leather glove. Break in was quick and painless.

Great overall performer
First pair of street gloves I've bought, I feel they have similarities to the older style motocross gloves from the 90's in regards to style and as far as being thicker and with more padding on the back than today's motocross gloves so I felt right at home with them being a long time ATV'er / dirt biker. Breathability is nice since the material in between the fingers is stretch fabric which vents nicely and the leather is perforated in the thumb and cuff. A little stiff at the beginning but they break in nicely, certain areas of the leather stretch out more than others which can make for a loose fit at the cuff and back of the glove, the closure is a simple velcro strip that performs well, my only gripe with the velcro is that it gets caught right were it changes from velcro hook to loop in the velcro buckle which is sometimes annoying when removing or putting them on but is also good since the velcro never accidentally gets totally removed from the turnbuckle which would be more annoying to try and correct with the other glove on. Leather feels thin but not insecure, I would like more palm protection on these to make them more durable and safe.
In regards to my above comment, I will however mention that I was involved in an accident a couple days ago while wearing these, the steel icon logo on both the velcro closure and back of the palm took a lot of tarmac and did so gracefully, my right hand was the one that did most of the contact and the leather on the palm and tips of the fingers did wear but did not wear through. These gloves saved me from having more injuries and road rash, I could not be happier with them, I will probably keep using these but keep an eye on the worn palm. I'm fairly confident that they could take another spill like the last one and still protect me (not that i want to) but that would probably be the end of them.

Looks great, works, pinkies are a little long...
No complaints with these except the pinky fingers are just too long, on both gloves. And not only that, but they are different lengths of too long, my fingers are symmetrically equal in length so it's just a manufacturing issue. Velcro system is good, no signs of wear after tons of use. Even though all the fingers have some play at the end, I feel like the gloves are too tight around the base of the fingers sometimes, almost like they are restricting blood-flow slightly. Sometimes they feel fine, sometimes they feel a little tight. Overall these are ok, just wish they fit... like a glove, so to speak. Definitely better than my previous Icon gloves in terms of quality, fit and finish.

on the upside of "just ok"
The gloves look great, and the quality is there. But there is in my opinion a bit of a design flaw, they say pre-curved... but i don't find that to be the case. The palm material is too long, so wrapping your fingers around the handlebar causes some "scrunching" of the material right under your knuckle. This is a bit awkward, but does lessen as you break the gloves in. It did take me a good few weeks of forcing myself to wear them off and on to get the palm to wrap well on your handlebars.
Also similar complaints of odd finger lengths, but nothing as noticeable as some of the other comments on these gloves.

comfortable and light weight
the gloves look and feel great. The only issues I had were the pads on the back of the hands were not in the same location on both gloves. The stitching on one glove is starting to fail.
