Trendy, retro style, with modern materials and protection!
I ordered these gloves because the style caught my eye. My bike is styled on the bikes from the late 50's/cafe style so these blended perfect. Also the reason the material construction is top notch and the D3 knuckle armor adds very good impact protection on the knuckles. These gloves being cowhide are a little stiff but are breaking in even with the minor pre curve to them. They defiantly have the feel of a deerskin rancher glove, but in a slide I think the materials are solid and will hold up well. Keep in mind consider the usage as these do not have a padded palm so that may take away from comfort for some. These gloves do run a bit large as I have to exchange for a size down, which was a breeze with revzilla and if I had call first they would of advised me of due to their experience and product knowledge. Overall I highly recommend for cruiser or cafe owners. As they fit that style very well off great protection w/o looking to ricky racer.

Round Town Gloves with Amazing Style (over Substance)
Style 10/10!
I was attracted to the sophisticated rancher-style of these gloves. Style was why I bought them and I wasn’t disappointed. These are the coolest motorcycle gloves I’ve ever seen. Colour is great, and the slightly more natural coloured accents - where the perforated padding goes up the top of the fingers - is a nice, very subtle contrast.
Comfort 8/10
Soft right out of the box, I’m sure they’ll wear-in well and become even more comfortable quickly.
Quality 6.5/10
These are reasonably lightweight, gloves, more so that I thought they'd be from the pics. The leather looks great, but a couple of loose threads, including a red one which holds the Icon badge on, are disappointing. Only the back of the inside is (polyester) lined. Whether the feel of the leather inside the glove is intended as a feature or not, I don’t know; possibly. I still prefer linings. The D3O logo is way higher on the left glove than the right one. Annoying.
Safety 6/10(?)
Safety wise I’m not entirely convinced. The D3O knuckle protection is mostly hidden and very flexible yet seems pretty good for what it is. The leather feels quite thin, possibly accentuated by its' softness. The fit around the wrist is reasonably loose and in an accident the gloves would very possibly come off. Having said that, I'd hate to come off wearing Jeans, which rate a 1/10!
Sizing 8/10
Size wise I’m ½ way between a medium and large and having bought the Large, I wish I could tried both sizes before I committed, - hard to do from ½ way round the world. I’ll stick with the Large and see what happens. I suspect they’d wear in well and you could risk going down a size.
Practicality 8/10
These are a short glove so be mindful of that. I haven’t worn shorties before, but it’s a style thing so I guess I’ll get used to it. Benefit = ideal if you want a pair of gloves you can stuff in your pocket after a ride.
Summary 7.5/10
If you’re looking for gloves with an emphasis on style - perhaps above other considerations and at the expense of some substance (practicality and safety) - these are for you. Take in account that these are lightweight, 'cruise down to the cafe', street gloves and you won’t be disappointed. I'm glad I got them.
Hoping to buy the Icon Chapter jacket to go with them.

Great quality at a great price
I ride a Harley and no doubt these go well with the looks. These are technical gloves without the sporty look.
Leather is top quality and the smell is amazing.
The only downside is the sizing, I mostly wear size M and sometimes S, these wouldnt fit my hand in the two sizes.

A hot pair of gloves. A real statement piece. Great quality.
I can't comment on durability as I only just bought these, but I'm sure these will last a long time.
The size was a little bit big, but I love them so much, I don't want to lose any time wearing them through the process of exchange. I'm happy.

THe rimfire gloves are just amazing, good grip, nice comfort and seems they will be perfect in case of emergency landing, price where perfect and Zilla work perfect during the shopping progress love it and will buy again somethings.....

How is the sizing?

Using the size chart around the palm I get about 9" which places me in medium. I'd really like to double check this as I currently wear XL RST gloves and havn't gone below a Large size. I have fairly long thin fingers, I'm 6'0 tall, and from the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of my wrist where the crease is, it's 8 1/4 inches, if that helps. Thanks.

Based on the measurements that you provided we would recommend the size Large as well. One of our Gear Geeks has the same measurements and he fits into a size large in these gloves. While he was also able to get the size medium on, it was very tight initially (it's possible that they could stretch out enough to be comfortable after a few hours of riding, but the Large was a much better fit).We hope that helps. Personally, I would go with one size up from what is recommended. I followed the chart and I wish I would have went one size up (chart said large when I should have went xl). The fit was tight for me. Hope this helps.10 months ago

I am assuming that this glove does not have touchscreen compatibility since it was not specifically mentioned. It would be great if Icon who is using the Touchtec made nice gloves like these using that product. I use my phone as my MP3 player and GPS and it would be nice not to have to remove my gloves and put them back on to use it.

I was aware that the ICON Justice glove has TouchTec built in when I asked the question, but it is designed more for street/racing type use and conforms to that look as well. These are much nicer looking and I think might be more comfortable for long range cruiser applications which is the type of riding I do.I am actually rather surprised that ICON did not choose to utilize TouchTec on these gloves considering the difficulty I am having finding any designed for use in the cruiser space. Even Harley doesn't have a pair yet.
