Icon 1000 Rimfire Gloves
Great looks and seeming good protection. Made out of proper leather, high quality stuff. Feels and smells amazing. Good stitching, which is an issue I had with previous ICON1000 products. Been on a few rides so far and are holding up. They feel very robust and protective compared to my old gloves. The rivets haven't been an issue so far, I know that's the common complaint that they'll scratch your tank. I guess I just don't touch my tank a lot when I ride. My hands are either on the bars or one on my knee. Tank damage from rivets has not been an issue for me. 10/10.

Icon Gloves Light Tan Color
They rock. I was concerned about the rivets in the palm but they're great. Ventilation is decent. The break/pocket above the knuckles allow for great hand flexibility.
Good looking, well made and definitely protective.

Classy gloves. Retro good looks, modern protection
I am fond of these gloves. It's difficult to replace a good pair of gloves, but I was recently forced to take the plunge when my previous favorites magically disappeared somewhere in Mexico.... I tried on many pairs and spent hours and hours shopping online. I'm really picky. I build bikes and sew leather seats and stuff, and I care a LOT about small details and quality craftsmanship, especially in my leather goods.
I was specifically a shopping for a 3- seasons glove that was either brown or natural colored. I wanted a glove that was of leather construction with some modern protection yet retained a classic or retro look. I wanted a glove that was not too bulky and that appeared to be thoughtfully and intentionally well crafted.
As I narrowed my selection from the ga'zillions of gloves out there in Internetland to my top three picks, these Icon 1000 Rimfire gloves (Natural/Tan Colored) kept coming up. I was attracted to their craftsmanship and how they would be a quality all-in-glove, equally at home on a sport bike, an adventure dual sport, or a 1970's cafe racer.
When I finally was convinced that these were the best gloves for my needs, regardless of price, I then went on to shamelessly shop for the best price. Not suprisingly RevIlla once again had what i wanted at the best price anywhere.
Now to balance this review a bit, I am quite fond of these gloves, but they're not perfect. There's some elastic sewn into the fingers on the inside, and while this is executed reasonably well, you can tell it's there, so the integration isn't perfect. And yet they remain very comfortable, and seem to become more so with continued regular use.
Having said that, in the last month of ownership I've had three total strangers randomly compliment my cool gloves, which, to be completely honest, is utterly bizzar.
I recommend these gloves. Time will prove their endurance, but I believe they're going to last for many many miles, and I'm please with the purchase.

Be careful with the metal rivets
First of all, I'd like to say I really like Icon.
I usually don't like to complain or post negative reviews, but these gloves scratched my bar ends. I figured I should at least warn others as you'll only find this out by using them, and obviously, after you've used them they can't be returned.
Besides the obvious issue caused by the metal rivets on the palms, I have some minor complaints. The grey color isn't as pictured. It's an odd bluish color. Also, for whatever reason, the left glove came in pristine condition while the right glove was a bit beat-up and had some cosmetic stitching issues. Nothing major. It's no secret that Icon can be really hit or miss with the build quality of their clothing. Another issue with this glove is the protection. It's pretty minimal. They're basically just leather gloves with some foam. Obviously these issues didn't bother me enough to return them outright since I decided to keep and use them. This is mostly because of how comfortable they are.
Overall, even if they don't scratch your particular bike, I'd stay away. There are a lot of options in this price range of glove that offer better protection and are more consistent in their build quality,

Looks good, feels comfortable
I tried on the Small and the Medium, they are the same in length, just different in width. I went with the medium and they are fitting well. After getting wet from rain and sweat they start to shape to your hand better. These are some of the best looking gloves I found, they are padded well, and they are not too pricey. On some hot days they can get sweaty, as there isn't much ventilation, but nothing too bad.

Saved my hands in a nasty fall
Wore these gloves for about 8 months with no problems. Had a casual ride home from work turn into a nasty accident and basically hit asphalt hands and head first at about 50mph. Not a scratch on my hands and gloves are still functional, just a couple pulled threads and one of the metal bits came off, will continue to keep as a back up pair and may try another pair of Icons since these performed so well. Only thing that I think could be improved is the articulation but that kind of comes with this style of glove anyways so... Also your hands will freeze if your riding in sub 50f temps, but some glove liners with these were enough to handle the cold early morning commutes, even down to under freezing temps. Overall very happy with these gloves.

This is a fantastic glove for cruising around with. Not too many technical features in terms of knuclepads, but the D30 is great, flexible and definitely helps against little road bits. Not too confident in the levels of protection in an off situation, however, the Nomex reinforced steel riveted sliders should definitely save your palms from being eaten up.
I bought the tan ones and they age really nicely as they start to get worn in and a little dirtier, I get compliments on these all the time. I have...interesting..hands, and most of the time mediums are too bit and leave the finger tips floppy and smalls are too tight and constrict the blood flow, but the smalls of these gloves are a perfect fit in accordance to the size chart.

Looks cool, but does not hold up.
These gloves are comfy and they look great! My only initial complaint was wanting the velcro to secure a little tighter around my wrists.
Now the main issue is both the protection and durability. I wore them every day for about a year. I never went down, but the fingertips have worn paper thin and the D3O in the knuckles crumbled into tiny pieces. I has to make a slit in the stitching so that I could get the bits out because they had settled in the finger tips. The knuckle padding was just poor design, but I cant even buy it separately to replace it.
The wear on the fingertips makes me seriously wonder how the rest of the leather would hold if I actually went down. Overall I'm pretty disappointed in them
