Not bad, not great. This piece has a good look but the fit is a little strange for me and overall feel is sort of cheap. Keep in mind it's a low-cost helmet so I didn't have high expectations to begin with. The pads are of good quality and easy enough to remove. The matte color looks great. The ridges on the back hold goggle straps in place well. Chin strap is nothing fancy but works as expected. It is a little on the heavy side and the foam shell of the helmet seems to contact the back of my head up higher that I would like. Perhaps I could have gone up to the next size but I'm within the range for the small size that I selected. If I had to do it again, I'd probably spend another $50-$80 and get something a little lighter and less clunky feeling but this helmet ought to do the job if called upon. August 30, 2012
