Givi E581 Topcase Rack KLR650

Strong, functional, and well-tested Monorack-style toprack for either general luggage, a Givi Monokey topcase or a Givi Monolock topcase. The light design allows the perfect adjustment of the plate to the motorcycle using unique adjustable fasteners. Includes fitting kit and all hardware needed for mounting.

All hardware needed to mount the Givi Monorack included. Installs quickly using simple hand tools. No welding or cutting of existing frame or body parts required. Tough black enamel finish with some gray fittings or hardware as applicable.

Monokey rack fits 2012 models The rack seems pretty sturdy and for the most part was easy to install. The one page instruction sheet isn't great, but if you follow the pictures exactly you'll get it right. The one thing I didn't like were the bolts that mount the rack to the bike. They were difficult to start and hard to tighten, and I stripped the head on one just as I was getting it snug (hence the durability hit). The heads are hex, and they probably should have been Torx. Perfect fit to bike The instructions are somewhat limited. There is one picture but no step by step instructions which you would normally expect. That being said, there is enough information that with some common sense you can figure it out. All of the necessary hardware is included. They supply four new bolts to replace the factory ones on the rack. Once installed it looks like it belongs there even without the case and the case mounts perfectly. It's worth the price.
