Givi AF3101 Airflow Windscreen for Suzuki V-Strom DL650

This stylish, well-constructed replacement windscreen features improved height and shape with top-notch quality. Mounts in minutes using stock fasteners. Features clear tint and precision-cut shape. Overall height is 29.5" (750mm); maximum width is 23.6" (600mm), approximately 4 inches (10cm) taller than the original screen. Specific sliding wind-screen, transparent, complete with fitting kit. Maximum height 56cm (12cm of extension) width 43cm

The AIRFLOW is the most versatile Givi windshield to date.

The adjustable spoiler allows the rider on the fly to easily and quickly make adjustments. Made of transparent polycarbonate, the adjustable spoiler is infinitely adjustable along the 4.7" (12cm) of travel. Once the desired setting has been selected a simple and secure clamp will keep it in place.

The design of the AIRFLOW system creates an aerodynamic effect that eliminates turbulence, allowing for maximum protection from wind thus reducing rider fatigue.

Another important feature is the ability to reduce AIRFLOW to the rider to increase driving safety while raining: the "spoiler effect" reduces and, can at times, eliminate rain from collecting on the visor and reducing vision. During the warmer days the AIRFLOW spoiler, can easily be removed allowing travel with only the lower part of the windshield as well.

Note: Includes fit kit.

Interstate speeds are comfortable for hours now! Easy install. High quality. Adjustable height. Looks good, not out of place at all. Smooths out the turbulent air above 60 mph that used to hit the top of my helmet and shake my vision if I sat up straight with the stock screen. No more hunching at interstate speeds. Very satisfied. Highly recommend it. January 26, 2016
Much less buffeting than stock Adventure Screen I replaced the stock adventure screen with a Manta at approximately 10k miles. I was pleased with the big Manta. However, it seemed to really be affected by passing big rigs. The Manta developed a crack during a sub-freezing ride, at 20k miles. It was not a bad crack & the Manta is very thick & well made. I think I had over-tightened the bolt. I had read very good reviews for the Givi Airflow & decided to give it a try. The Airflow pretty much eliminates buffeting. I do get more wind around the sides, compared to the Manta (the Manta is a whole lot wider). The shaking while following big rigs is much better, than the Manta. Bottom line - If you want to get completely out of the wind, the Manta may be a little better. However, I think the Airflow is a good balance, eliminating the effects of big rigs and getting rid of the buffeting. January 19, 2016
Definitely worth the money I noticed a huge difference after installing the new windscreen. The sweet spot for me (5'9") was about halfway away up. There was almost no buffeting at freeway speeds and I could still see over the top of the screen. I can also easily drop the screen down when I'm riding on dirt roads and need more visibility. It is a huge improvement over the stock windscreen. December 13, 2015
Perfect solution This windshield is the solution I was looking for. It provides great protection from the wind while going high speeds. This should be a standard product on any V-Strom! You'll have no regrets if you buy one! November 23, 2015
Makes a big difference Installs easily into the original mounting locations. On the highway it makes a considerable difference in the amount of wind blast across my helmet. It really does create a still air pocket that reduces fatigue at highway speeds. November 2, 2015
Easy Install and Instant Result Purchased a brand new 2014 DL650 Adventure and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, the included vario windscreen just wasn't enough to block my almost 6'5" frame. Grabbed the GIVI Airflow and after 10 minutes of install, I was on the road loving it. Adjustments to the screen are easy, and I feel confident that nothing is going to pop loose on the road. I like to lower the screen a bit when I am out in the mountains, then pop it up for some cruising at 70+ mph on the interstate. Great buy. Highly recommend. October 19, 2015
Cures any buffeting Fully adjustable screen allows you to finally beat the buffet!. One niggle is there is some flat plastic on the screen that can reflect the sun, either scuff it or put a piece of black eletrical tape August 18, 2015
Should be the standard screen on the V Strom 650! Rode home my new 2014 V Strom 650 and was beat up with the standard wind screen. Even with ear plugs I was getting the full effect with my ears ringing. Learned about the Airflow screen and gave it a go. What a difference. Running it in the middle hole with the screen at the mid position and it seems to work fine. Plenty of clean air reaching my helmet vents with the turbulence a few inches above my helmet. One thing I did notice is moving the outer screen all the way up the turbulence returns. Seems like it is more effective at the middle setting. The standard screen is a joke and this seems to have solved the problem I had. July 28, 2015
