A super quality boot with great rider features
After breakin they fit wonderful. Great protection in case of a mishap and I'm speaking from experience. I would buy another pair in a New York Minute. Wonderful product. I highly recommend. I have been a motorcyclist for 45 years.

Most comfortable boots I've ever worn!
I received my boots on a Friday afternoon. I'm a contractor by trade and I do bids on Saturdays, (in my truck). I decided to wear the boots while doing bids to sorta break them in and see if blisters or other trouble spots developed while wearing them walking and driving. Half way through the morning I'd forgotten I had them on! These things felt as comfortable as my tennis shoes! I have 3 other pairs of boots in the closet (about $600 worth) and I'll probably never step into them again. I've ridden about 4 times since I've had them and they're absolutely great while riding -- protection north and south, real easy on and off and the bottoms are STICKY! If I'm going to ride sometime during the day, I just put these on first thing in the morning and wear them all day; can't do that with any other of my boots.

Great boot for the price
Comfortable boots right out of the box. I ended up putting in some thicker insoles to tighten it up on the top of my foot, but the width of the toe box fits perfect, snug but not too tight. Shin armor isn't anything close to a motocross boot, but will definitely provide some protection. This boot is tall! Comes all the way up to the knee armor on my pants which is nice. I would definitely recommend this boot for touring and commuting.

Good Value & protection
I first ordered a 10 then exchanged it for an 11. My previous boot, still wearing them, is the BMW all round boot in a 44. The G King is taller, slightly longer, has a more pointed toe, sole is lower profile and very grippy. Zipper liner is multi layer and comes to top of boot. Overall the G King fits well,not as loose fitting as the BMW boot and it has better protection, is good looking and a good value.

Great boots - on the large side
These are great boots, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy. Only snag is that they're cut somewhat large for the Gaerne posted US size. I wear a shoe-size 11 (sometimes 10.5) depending on the cut) - and in a in-store try-on/fitting scenario, I would have tried on various until I found the right fit. But buying from the website, I ordered size 11, and found it to to be wayyyy-too-roomy for my foot. So like a champ, Revzilla exchanged the 11's for 10's at little-or-no difficulty for me. The 10's fit great, and I couldn't be happier.
Moral of the story; Gaerne boots are cut large. Proceed accordingly.

Ok but expected more
First, I intend to send these back, so I haven't put any miles on them.
Although generally comfortable, and generally well constructed, these boots are lacking in protection. In particular the shin bash guard is lacking, and slightly flimsy (nowhere near as still as a soccer shin guard, which is concerning as far as I am concerned). That being said they are likely much more comfortable than a stiffer boot with more rigid protection.

this product has great look.
Awesome boots. Weight-wise they are relatively light and yet offer an excellent protection for sensitives area of the foot (that's what you need). The look and the feeling are great. Granted not fit to wear as casual boots/shoes but Ace when it comes to riding. Worth the $$.

Do these boots run narrow like the Sidi boots, or are they wider like the Alpinestar boots? If they are narrow like the Sidi boots, do you have a suggestion for something that is comparable as far as features are concerned, but that has a wider fit?

They seem to run average or possibly even slightly wider. I normally wear an 11, I bought these in 11.5 in order to be sure I could fit an arch-support insole as well as thick wool socks (I always buy my hiking boots 1/2 size up due to these reasons). My feet are definitely not narrow. Resulting fit for me is PERFECT, these boots are very comfortable, easy to get on, and I definitely don't feel any pressure on the sides of my feet.Age: 35-44

I have these boots and don't consider them narrow. the width is average and keeps the foot solidly placed in the boot so it doesn't slide around. I usually wear somewhat thicker socks with no problem. My BMW all round boots are wider and allow the foot to move around more inside. they are sightly better for hot weather.Age: 55-64
