The premium NeT Upgrade Armor is a highly flexible and breathable molded protector certified to the very latest CE testing standards PREN1621-1 (Level 2). Using a unique formulation allows the NeT armor to be both low profile (max thickness 9mm) and flexible for optimum comfort while still having RPT (Repeat Performance Technology) which allows the armor to withstand multiple impacts without a loss of performance or structural integrity for long term protection.
Good for a retro fit
I have an old jacket that had shoulder armor held in place with velcro. At this point I didn't trust it, but the company is out of business and there's no direct replacement.
Unlike the d30 armor, this stuff allows you to attach velcro. A 1" wide strip with some shoe goo and the armor was in place. The armor is very flexible and reasonably light.
It does have a distinct curvature - it works for me in both the knees and the shoulder, but you can see where they bonded the flat version to create the final shape. If it's too curved, you could just slice at those joints and you'd have the flat version.
With a CE2 rating, it's a nice upgrade.

almost big enough
I bought these to replace the stock shoulder pads that come with the LARGE Pro-Shirt X-V-S. The stock pads say SMALL right on the pad and not going to work with 17in arms and large deltoids. These pads are larger and more flexible than the stock pads though still A bit to small for me, however, the added flexibility allows the pro-shirt to pull them down flat and out of the way of my helmet when I look back to check lanes. an added bonus is the upgrade to level 2 protection over stock.

Ryan C: Great price for an upgrade to the ones that came with my riding pantsMay 26, 2015
Tony H: I had bought the size large pro shirt x-v-s but the included shoulder pads are size small. says so right on the pad. I have 17inch arms and large deltoids. needed something bigger. I'm not the bony Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo type. Not to be insulting but large should be large. The only armor in the shirt I won't have to replace is the back pad. Should have bought the shirt without the armor and then the armor piece by piece.May 10, 2015
Steven K: Upgrade shoulder armor in my leather jacket. The cupped shape of this Forcefield armor is more comfortable and stays in the mesh pockets more easily. I have used this make of elbow armor in other jackets and am pleased with it.Sep 25, 2014
Wilson L: Revzilla recommendation. Needed better armor for my jacket.Jun 14, 2014
leonard s asked:Would any of these fit a Vanson Technical Hardcore size 54?
Mike L:While I don't have a REV'it jacket I do have an Olympia Airglide 4 mesh jacket. I have fitted my jacket with the Forcefield Net Replacement shoulder and elbow armor and they fit great. Both are very comfortable, especially while in the riding position on the bike.
Allan B asked:Will these fit into a Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0 Jacket? I want to replace the current armor the jacket comes with and I am between these or the Forcefield Replacement Shoulder Armor (the grey ones). Which one will fit better and/or which one is more protective over all?May 29, 2014
