very satisfied bought this to replace my 10 year old "darien". I like the collar much better than my old coat. The fit is unbelievable, it's hard to tell the armour is in there. I could always feel it in my old coat. Only about 100 miles on this jacket, but I'm very impressed with the quality at this price. May 3, 2012
Good Value I wanted something with an outer waterproof shell, not a waterproof liner like most due to the weather in Northern New York. I have yet to ride on the dog days of summer, but 80 degree temps have been fine with the venting provided. I upgraded the back protection to a sastek with a little trimming. I also purchased the Butane pants. April 3, 2012
Very Nice Three Season Jacket Bought this jacket when I bought my new bike. First 3 season jacket as I've been a fair weather rider in the past. First day's ride included a wind, rain and a little sleet. Jacket kept me warm and dry. Since then I've ridden in temps from the upper 30's to almost 80 and am impressed with the liner, well made and easy to zip/snap in and out. Weather has really started warming up and even with all the vents open, I think 70 degrees or so is it's upper limit. Good buy and will probably put another Fly product in the closet. March 14, 2012
Fantastic Jacket. This jacket is a wonderful value. My first time with this jacket was a 650 mile ride through Arizona and New Mexico. At 3 AM the liner in this jacket proved durable in holding in my heat and keeping me comfortable. Later in the day when the heat was bouncing off the pavement, a couple of zips here and there I had enough air flow to keep me cool. At 6' 1" and 250 I don't like tight things and this jacket has great features to fit any body style. I LOVE IT. October 24, 2011
Great price for a good starter jacket Is it a Durban.....no......but for the price it's not bad. I'm 6'1" 207lbs and the large fits me perfectly. It's summer here in Arizona so the first thing I did was remove the liner. I can only comment on it's feature set and warm weather performance. My first impression was that the jacket was very soft and supple out of the box. Considering what's it's made of it was a nice surprise. My other jackets were stiff as a board at first and some still are. This jacket is soft and flexible. Ok, performance wise in hot Arizona weather you're going to get warm. The venting system works but riding in 105+ degree heat ANY jacket is going to get warm. I was surprised to discover that "warm" was as bad as it got as long as you keep moving. My guess would be that temps below 90 would be quite comfortable in this jacket. Short of a torrential downpour this jacket should keep you dry. I wore it on a quad ride in a light California rain for several hours and it kept me dry but with the vents closed it got toasty fast, even with the liner out. This will be the first jacket I've owned that had the armor in the right place. Thank you FLY! All of my other jackets have armor that's not quite right. This jacket has good basic armor that is positioned correctly in the riding position. The pockets are adequate and the hand warmer pockets are a nice touch. Overall I think FLY has a nice basic jacket here. Not for the hard core dual sport guys but great for the value minded rider that wants a quality jacket. June 13, 2011
Great jacket with ample pockets This jacket is fantastic for touring or when you want a few pockets to put stuff in and is also great for weather protection on cooler days, it hasnt rained since i got the jacket so i cant review the waterproof quality. I am really pleased with the jacket overall June 13, 2011

Yes, the Fly Trekker Jacket features a pocket for back protector that will allow you to change it for a higher level of protection.
