Great summer pants but they need more adjustments

These pants fit well, allow great air flow and cooling, and are comfortable. That said, the knee protection is down at my shins, even on the highest velcro setting. And the pants are WAY long. I'll need to figure out how to attach some velcro higher in inside the pant leg for the knee pads because I can't walk around comfortably in them as they are totally below my knee caps. Also, the snap at the waist - there is a hook as well as a snap, thank goodness -- the snap is loose and always unsnaps. They do fit a woman MUCH better than the Johnny Rocket similar size.
