Bang for Buck
Glove is the most comfortable glove I've tried on. Allows full range of hand movement. Fit is very tight and a little difficult to get on/off, but once on it fits well.

Took a spill (~40 mph lowside) with these gloves. For the price I would say they held up well. Ended up with no road rash on hands and some holes/frayed parts on palm. I've never fallen in another glove so hard to compare, but I would say the area that may be lacking is in impact protection. There is only a little padding in the palm area. For $45 though these seem great. I've attached a couple photos for reference.

Look great, durability in question
I bought these one year ago. I wear a medium glove, so I bought a medium in this glove. Fits well once on my hand, however, getting it on isn't easy. It's been a year, actually only 6 months of daily use, putting them on is not any easier. Because it's so difficult to put on an the placement of the velcro, the index finger on both gloves has worn through the material.

First gear will replace them under warranty but the rep said they have not heard of this happening to others.

Not sure if I'll keep the next pair, they seem to have a design flaw... Wrist opening too small and index fingers should be leather (to prevent shredding), I've attached photos.

Since I normally put right glove in first, the left index is shredding quicker, but both are wearing quickly.

Suggestion to First Gear: 1) Bigger opening for inserting hand, don't really need the velcro if you leave opening so small 2) index finger should be of more durable material

durable and comfortable
this is the second pair of these gloves that i've owned. i used the first pair for over three years and knew that when it was time to replace them that i had to find the same gloves. glad to know that First Gear was still making this model. i ride an '01 1150 GS and also use them when riding my dirt bike, a KTM 300 exc. this is my "go to" glove. i should have bought another pair so when these wear out, i'll have some spares.

Very comfortable glove
These gloves fit great once they're on the hand. The cuff is rather small, so it can be slightly challenging to get them on.

The gloves run small - I usually wear a L/XL, but these gloves fit me in a 2XL.

The gloves are light, but they look and feel like they would protect well in a fall. Parts of the palm are padded for extra protection.

Cool for summer
These gloves have been cool on a hot Georgia day. The mesh design keeps things cool. Protection seems adequate. My only complaint is they are a bit tough to get on. The opening is a bit constricted. They are comfortable once on, but take a bit of work to get on. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.

Great Glove
This is an awesome glove. It breaks in quickly and is super comfortable. I am loving these gloves and would recommend them to anyone. They breath really well (I've worn them in ranges of 50 - 90* F and they are wonderful. Sizing is spot on. I'm usually a medium in most gloves, and a medium in these fits great.

Good product for the price. Great hot-weather glove. Runs a bit small.
I was wearing a pair of all-leather insulated semi-gauntlet gloves through the Winter. Hot weather arrived early and I scrambled to get a pair of mesh gloves that would make for more comfortable riding.
My "old" gloves were size medium, but I had to jump to an XL for the FirstGear Mesh Tex gloves. I was on the lower end of the XL range when I measured according to the FG sizing chart, so you should definitely go up a size. Finger length and overall glove size is good, but they're quite snug to put on over the thumb/base of hand. It's this snugness that concerns me from a durability standpoint. Since I have to tug a bit on the cuff to pull the gloves on, I'm concerned that over time I will start to tear the stitching in that area. The warranty brings some peace of mind for this.
Ventilation-wise, they've served me well in 80-degree (F) temperatures, and are a huge improvement over my "Winter" gloves.
One feature that the gloves don't have is a "pocket" on the back of the hand. This would be great for storing a couple of dollars to pay tolls, etc. Another item worth noting is that these are short-cuff gloves. If you're looking for something that goes easily over jacket cuffs, these aren't the gloves for you. I've also found that it is sometimes difficult to grab hold of the hook-and-loop tab with my other (gloved) hand.
An unexpected bonus is that I can operate my touch-screen phone with the gloves on! It's not as good as bare fingers, but being able to slide a map around or turn on my GPS without taking the gloves off is a huge benefit.

The airflow is amazing through these gloves
The airflow through the gloves is great. On a hot day these gloves will keep your hands cool. They run a little small so I'd go a size larger than you would usually wear.

Great gloves, would buy again.
Gloves are great for warm weather, hands start getting cold around 45 F. Love the fit, love the style. Some people complain about the wrists being tight to get your hands into but it gives me the feeling that these gloves won't come off with a bit of friction and I like that.

A little snug, but good gloves
I bought the XL size after following the measuring guide on the site. i think 2X would have worked better, after a 2 day break in period i could swear they actually got harder to get on, takes a bit of work to get my hands in there, but once they are on these gloves feel great!

Tried them on at a local moto shop and they felt really comfortable while provided good protection. They also flow lots of air and it's really easy to feel the controls with them.

I chose these gloves because they look to be inexpensive yet protective. They'll be my first motorcycle-riding glove. They have the knuckle protection, which is the big thing I was looking for. I bought a pair of gloves at another store for $55, but I took them back. They didn't have any of these features. These look like they'll protect me much better!
