Firstgear Mesh Tex Gloves
Sizing is very small.
Going by the size chart, I first bought Large. They were way too tight, so I exchanged them for XL (thank you, Revzilla, for the easy, fast exchange). Still too small to get on and off easily, but I needed to leave on the long trip I had planned, so I took them. They were very comfortable (once I got them on) in hot to warm weather (AL to PA in June). But the difficulty in getting them on and off was increasingly annoying, so I gave them to my wife. They seem to be real nice gloves if you get them big enough; for me that would be XXL, two sizes up from the size chart. I find that in other gloves, I am XL, one size up from the chart.

durable and comfortable
this is the second pair of these gloves that i've owned. i used the first pair for over three years and knew that when it was time to replace them that i had to find the same gloves. glad to know that First Gear was still making this model. i ride an '01 1150 GS and also use them when riding my dirt bike, a KTM 300 exc. this is my "go to" glove. i should have bought another pair so when these wear out, i'll have some spares.

Good summer glove!
I purchased a large, fits my hands perfectly. The first week of riding with them, I noticed a problem that someone else had stated. The stitching at the end of the fingers, was irritating to my fingers.. It was very annoying after even just 3 miles. As I broke the gloves in that went away, I don't even notice it anymore. When the gloves are on they are very comfortable, putting them on can be challenging, I feel like the opening should be larger. Another gripe(sort of) is the Velcro, it's on the underside of the wrist, I pull my gloves on from the underside, the micro Velcro is shredding the mesh on both index fingers. That's why I gave the durability a 3. Overall I am pleased with this glove, I will have to get some leather by the end of the summer though, not suitable for under 55 degree riding.

Inner stitches are uncomfortable to finger tips
Overall this is a good glove for the money, I just purchased at a local bike store. Unfortunately I the ones I purchase is bothering a lot on the fingertips. The stitches are very elevated and bother a lot, I only rode 45 minutes with it and I'm ready to return. If was a $20-25 bucks glove I would probably keep it but since I paid almost $50 for it I'm sure there is better options here at RevZilla. I just ordered the Icon Sub Stealth Gloves, lets see.

A little snug, but good gloves
I bought the XL size after following the measuring guide on the site. i think 2X would have worked better, after a 2 day break in period i could swear they actually got harder to get on, takes a bit of work to get my hands in there, but once they are on these gloves feel great!

Good first gloves.
This is my first pair of gloves and my first review. The gloves looked nice and thick when I ordered them. When they arrived, the first thing I noticed was how thin the palms felt. I say this in comparison to a full leather pair that my co-worker had me try on when I took the MSF course. I have never fell off a bike (new rider if it isnt obvious), so I dont know just how thick gloves in general should feel considering they are made to protect from high speed falls, but that was just my impression when they first arrived. I ordered a large and it fits perfect. The knuckle protection feels really solid. I used their size chart to size my hand. Some reviewers are saying its sized small, but a large fit me fine and I am a bit on the skinny side.

Good for multiple seasons
This is my first riding glove, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But it is decently comfortably and seems durable for the price.
By the measurement chart, a Large would have been too small, so I got the XL. This size is a little big, but that's kind of what I was looking for. The glove does not overheat your hands in the summer (have used it on a couple 90 degree days), but is thick enough to keep em warm in 50 degree weather. The reason I wanted them slightly large was so once it starts getting even colder, I can put my thin under armor gloves underneath.
Overall, it seems like a good buy

I bought these gloves because I've been so pleased with other Firstgear products. These however are a disappointment. I've used them for just over 500 miles of riding (about a month) and they already look old and ready to be replaced. The seams on the back of the hand and the fingertips are fraying. There's padding in the palm which would be great if it didn't bunch up in all the wrong places. On a positive note, they look pretty cool when they're new and they aren't very expensive. They do run a bit small so order a size up if you plan on buying them but I would recommend spending a little more for a better product.
