Firstgear Mesh Tex Gloves
This is an awesome glove. It breaks in quickly and is super comfortable. I am loving these gloves and would recommend them to anyone. They breath really well (I've worn them in ranges of 50 - 90* F and they are wonderful. Sizing is spot on. I'm usually a medium in most gloves, and a medium in these fits great.

Good glove for the price.
Perfect glove for most of the riding season.
Pros: Price! Decent air flow while riding. Reinforcement in areas needed. Dexterity - I can still attach the strap on my helmet with the gloves on. Compact, not bulky, fits into pockets easily.
Cons: The gloves have a fitted wrist that makes putting them on a little bit of work.

Palm pads misplaced
I had two issues with these gloves which caused me to return them:
1) They run small. I usually wear a Large glove, and they were short on my hand (meaning that the bottom of the glove barely covered my palm and the base of my hand).
2) Even if I had gotten the XL and the glove had fit well, I think that the palm protection pad is misplaced. It would have landed somewhere in the middle of the palm, rather than the base of the palm like I would rather have.

Bang for Buck
Glove is the most comfortable glove I've tried on. Allows full range of hand movement. Fit is very tight and a little difficult to get on/off, but once on it fits well.
Took a spill (~40 mph lowside) with these gloves. For the price I would say they held up well. Ended up with no road rash on hands and some holes/frayed parts on palm. I've never fallen in another glove so hard to compare, but I would say the area that may be lacking is in impact protection. There is only a little padding in the palm area. For $45 though these seem great. I've attached a couple photos for reference.

Sizing is very small.
Going by the size chart, I first bought Large. They were way too tight, so I exchanged them for XL (thank you, Revzilla, for the easy, fast exchange). Still too small to get on and off easily, but I needed to leave on the long trip I had planned, so I took them. They were very comfortable (once I got them on) in hot to warm weather (AL to PA in June). But the difficulty in getting them on and off was increasingly annoying, so I gave them to my wife. They seem to be real nice gloves if you get them big enough; for me that would be XXL, two sizes up from the size chart. I find that in other gloves, I am XL, one size up from the chart.

durable and comfortable
this is the second pair of these gloves that i've owned. i used the first pair for over three years and knew that when it was time to replace them that i had to find the same gloves. glad to know that First Gear was still making this model. i ride an '01 1150 GS and also use them when riding my dirt bike, a KTM 300 exc. this is my "go to" glove. i should have bought another pair so when these wear out, i'll have some spares.

Good summer glove!
I purchased a large, fits my hands perfectly. The first week of riding with them, I noticed a problem that someone else had stated. The stitching at the end of the fingers, was irritating to my fingers.. It was very annoying after even just 3 miles. As I broke the gloves in that went away, I don't even notice it anymore. When the gloves are on they are very comfortable, putting them on can be challenging, I feel like the opening should be larger. Another gripe(sort of) is the Velcro, it's on the underside of the wrist, I pull my gloves on from the underside, the micro Velcro is shredding the mesh on both index fingers. That's why I gave the durability a 3. Overall I am pleased with this glove, I will have to get some leather by the end of the summer though, not suitable for under 55 degree riding.

Inner stitches are uncomfortable to finger tips
Overall this is a good glove for the money, I just purchased at a local bike store. Unfortunately I the ones I purchase is bothering a lot on the fingertips. The stitches are very elevated and bother a lot, I only rode 45 minutes with it and I'm ready to return. If was a $20-25 bucks glove I would probably keep it but since I paid almost $50 for it I'm sure there is better options here at RevZilla. I just ordered the Icon Sub Stealth Gloves, lets see.
