Firstgear Kili Hi WP Boot
Great features for price, waterproof but no airflow and shift pad wears
I think that these boots are a great value. My main purpose was protection and water proof and that they do very well. However, they do not flow air very well which is not surprising at this price point. It fit my feet exactly as described - I am glad that that FirstGear has not gone the narrow feet route typrical of most Euro brands.
My only complaint is that shift pad wears visibly and quickly. I sent my first pair after 2 weeks because the outer layer on the shift pad had worn off. FirstGear to their credit replaced them immediately. The second pair is much better. It still wears but at a reasonable rate.
I will buy these again.

Great entry level commuter boots
Got these after trying on the TourMaster WP Air solution boots (which have very similar features and styling, but did not fit my feet as well as the Firstgear). Were comfortable immediately. After only 2 days of break-in, can wear them all day. A bit hot, but most boots are. No airflow, but they claim to be waterproof, so I guess that's what you get. Haven't had them in the rain yet.

Bought these (another vendor) and in less than 40 wearings, the toebox is tearing apart on one boot. The material delaminating isn't leather.
Fit is very good and comfortable but you need to wear long socks above the top of the boot to avoid annoying pokes from the top seam.

Boots are fat/round in toe area
Boot is not the same design style as Firstgear Hi mess boot. Looks and feels like Beetle Bailey (old comic strip) style cut. I am size 11 in these boots I am a 12.Good for the price but if I was to do it again I would probably buy Tour Master boots in the same price range.

I wore these for about 4000 miles last year and they worked great. No real signs of wear. They've been completely waterproof so far. I hated the white stitching so I Sharpied over it! I put in a thicker insole from another pair of shoes and they've been warm and comfortable. I wear 10.5 street shoes and the 11 is perfect.

Great for touring/commuting
Only had these boots for a couple months now, but have ridden with them in the rain and cold several times and I'm very please. They're also surprisingly comfortable.
My foot size is typically 10.5 EEE, but I ordered size 11 based on other reviews, and they fit very nicely.

Good so far
It always take me a while to get used to new gear and this pair is no exception. They are taller, and stiffer than my older boots, but offers a lot more protection than the other boots that I currently have.
Since I bought the boots, it has been cooler weather and I haven't gotten a chance to ride a lot. At first I thought the boots were to stiff and a little narrow, but with a little wear they are getting a lot better, and I think by summer they will be fine. I normally wear a 11 1/2 D and these boots are 12 normal and they fit good, but slightly on the tight side. I have not ridden in any rain so I don't know how water proof yet.

Comfortable but Definitely not WP
These boots are great if you only ride in dry weather. I've worn these boots for a little more than 10k miles in all types of weather and terrain.
- Comfortable while riding and walking. No complaints with fit or comfort.
- Easy to put on/take off
- Good airflow to keep your feet from getting overheated
- Good support
- The lever protection pads wore through in no time but the material underneath has held up well
- My biggest complaint is that they call these boots waterproof which is quite a stretch by any means. My Darn Tough merino wool socks were the only reason my feet were not uncomfortable on wet rides.
