Ups and downs. Great for ride only.
I got these boots almost a year ago now and I ride as my bike being my only vehicle.

These boots were extremely comfortable and they fit the bill perfectly... IF You only use them for riding.
I was surprised to find they were extremely comfortable even off the bike however after less than a year of also using them part time for walking, there are holes in the heels, the liners inside are shredded and the leather on the top has split to reveal the fabric,

I have no doubt they would remain fantastic as long as they are only worn when riding.6

Great boot for the value
I usually wear a size 12, on a whim I ordered a size 11 and it was a perfect fit. They do take a couple of days of walking around in to loosen up but after that they feel comfortable. If you need to walk around in them all day I would recommend a gel foot pad insert.

Can't say enough good things about these boots
I bought thses boots right before a 3300 mile ride from Colorado to Texas over to New Mexico down around the south end of Texas up the Gulf coast and back to Colorado.
We had weather from 28* to 86* and 150 miles in the rain and these boots performed great. I only wore them a couple times around the house before we left and there was no break-in isuses at all even after a pretty long hike through Carlsbad Cavern. 2011 Concours 14

Great bang for your buck!
I've always wore Sidi boots and was disappointed when they didn't have a simple boot I liked. I commute back and forth to work mostly on straight roads in Phoenix, so I didn't need anything extreme. These seem perfect. At first look I thought they would be narrow for my foot. But after walking around the house with them on for about four hours, they broke in really nice and are very comfortable. They are a little tight to slip on, But I think when they break in they will be okay. They are no frills, nice boot for the money. I've only had them for a couple of weeks. So I can't comment on how well they will last.

Love the boots
This is my first pair of this type of motorcycle boot (high calf length ) these are very comfortable and have great heat protection. The bike I ride gets hot on the leg and this boot workes well for that. I also like the feel when just walking around. I use them for street riding and long distance trips.

I did notice the heel area has a little melted spot on the back already must have laid it on the pipe. But I did not feel it.

A bit tight, but comfortable.
I bought these for daily use, as commuter boots. I live in the Portland area, so winter is wet. My feet have stayed dry. They were a bit narrow, but have formed to my feet OK over the past few months. So Dry, fairly comfortable, and inexpensive.

Good, with a warranty
I use a dr,sholes insole and they are very comfortable and fit very well. without the insoles they are very flat soled. I am on my 3rd pair unfortunately after about 5000 miles and wearing them as shoes for a month the sole has detatched twice from the heel on both boots, these boots are completely waterproof and keep my feet warm at all times. When it is below 37 degrees and raining at speeds above 60 mph my toes start to get cold. i would reccomond these boots but would not buy them without a warranty.

Not Waterproof
These boots have a great fit and are made from quality materials. A great value for the price. They would be much better if they were actually waterproof. It wasn't two weeks after I received the boots and I had to ride to work in the rain. By the time I got there (about 40 minutes), one foot was wet. Granted, it was a fairly small amount of wetness on the top of my foot (it wasn't completely soaked), but I'm sure that if I had to ride all day in the rain, it would only get worse. Pretty disappointing for a boot that claims to be "Fully Waterproof".

Definitely waterproof
I purchased these boots for the waterproof feature. I was pleasantly surprised first by the good fit then the feel and most of all they are waterproof. I rode 900 miles 600 of which it poured rain, and my feet were dry and comfortable, what a difference dry feet can make.
The first time I put them on they felt like they were going to be hot due to the waterproof feature, but after a minute they seemed to acclimate and wick heat and moisture away so this became a non-problem. The only con is the sole, they do not grip the rubber foot pegs on my V Strom. I was going to switch to a dirt style peg anyhow and that solved that problem. All in all I am happy with these boots.

Great boots for the price. Will stretch with use. Super comfortable. Soles wear out quickly. Still a very good buy.

Price point was EXCELLENT but I would have paid more for a higher quality boot. This is an O.K. boot. Showing signs of wear after one season.

I purchased a pair of these a couple years ago from a local store in a size 45 because they didn't have the larger size and the 45 seemed okay, and it was for a couple years, but has become increasing more uncomfortable (maybe my feet have grown or maybe it was because the boot got wet). So I got the largest size Revzilla carries (size 46) but it still feels too small. Also one of the soles is defective, it tilts my foot inward, the other boot is fine. I am returning them.

I needed an all-around boot I could ride with that could stand up to rain. I had been using combat boots for quite a long time and was displeased with how they would sometimes slip on surfaces. So far the Kili Hi boots have been absolutely wonderful. I wish they didn't look quite as "moon booty" as they do but I am glad for the protection they provide.

I was looking for a replacement for my worn out Tourmaster boots. I commute to work and I always wear good protective boots when I ride. I have always liked Firstgear products and I have been reading about the Kili Hi for a while now. I think they are just what I've been looking for. The boot went on sale for Black Friday so I jumped on it. The reviews on Revzilla are all good, it looks good, and I think I just scored a nice pair of boots.

Can this boot be resoled once the sole is worn down, or must I purchase a new pair of boots?
A shopper on Sep 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Firstgear Kili boot soles are holding up well after eighteen months of nearly daily use. They replaced a set of Oxtars that were five years old and in need of re-soling, but they were also worn through in the toes, so I opted to replace them.

I understand (although I have yet to pursue this option) that a full-service shoe repair shop can glue a new sole to worn boots. I opted to protect the wear points of the leather uppers with "Tuf Toe," a plasitcized product used by baseball players and others to protect the toes of athletic shoes.
Looking at purchasing a pair of Firstgear Kili Hi WP boots, my feet measure 10 7/8" long. usually wear a size 10 1/2, occasional 10's what size of the Firstgear Kili should I order?

What's the policy on ordering 2 pair of boots (maybe a 10 and an 11), keeping 1 pair that fits and returning the other?

Thank you! Dave
A shopper on Mar 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Dave,

I ordered a pair of these last year in a size 9, obviously much smaller feet than yours. They fit me pretty well, maybe very slightly large but not by much. With a pair of average sport socks (not thin dress socks) they are good. I'm tempted to tell you to get 11s, just in case the 10s are small.

My wife ordered a couple things in different sizes, and returned the ones that didn't work out. They have great return policies! Very simple process.
I would like to know how heavy are these boots? How heavy are the Tour Master WP boots? I am looking for a boot that is good for all day wear and not as heavy as my Durango Harness boots.
A S on Jun 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These are excellent boots. I use mine for cool to cold weather riding with wool socks. Comfortable for long rides or walking around between rides. The zipper, gator and Velcro flap make for a good waterproof and dry foot on a wet ride. Highly recommended!!
I have a pair of these boots size 46 and would like to order another. What would be the equivalent us size ?
A shopper on May 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: US11.5 based on a Google image search. You might want to check the tag on your boot as the sizing might not be the same as what I've seen online
