Dainese Xantum D-Dry Jacket

Technical content and practicality come together in the design of this garment conceived for sport touring. Construction with elasticated areas at the sides and shoulders, ample adjustment possibilities for the neck, sides, sleeves, cuffs, and the jacket-pants fastening system all offer excellent ergonomics. Elevated comfort under changing weather conditions is guaranteed by the breathable waterproof D-Dry® membrane, removable thermal lining, and the air vents on the shoulders. The homologated composite protec- tors can be complemented by a back protector and a Thorax chest protector thanks to the pockets provided to offer even higher levels of safety.

Bought the white/red version and it looks great on my gixxer. still comfortable with a large back protector. I haven't had to wash it much yet but it can be a pain. after one cycle in the washer, none of the dirt washed out of the white, had to wash with a rag.

I've been riding with this jacket paired with the Tomsk D-Dry pants for most of the winter season and so far, it's been AWESOME! My legs and torso never feel like I need any extra heating. I've ridden up to 37 degree weather and I feel like I could take another 15 degrees colder. My hands now are the weak link and I'll need to look into some heated gloves. The jacket just feels very quality and everything just fits and works beautifully. The other day, I rode in pouring rain with this setup and I was completely dry. My neck could have used a little help and it would have better if it had one of those thin hoods that I could put over my head under the helmet. However, I still didn't find that much water got to the back of my neck anyway, so maybe it's a moot point. The best part is that I got this on Revzilla's Black Friday sale. With some of the Revzilla bucks that I had left over, it was a steal.

I am interested in purchasing the Xantum Jacket. I am also very interested in the pants that the model is wearing in the picture of the jacket. Looks like a very nice combo. I assume the jacket and pants zip together and both have the D-Dry membrane. I wear a 54 jacket and 52 pants in BMW apparrel size. Thanks.

Answer: 
All Dainese men's jackets will zip to all Dainese men's pants, regardless of the size as the zipper is the same on all sizes. They do both have the D-Dry membrane, so this will keep you the driest when you take advantage of zipping the two together.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
