Great boot These boots are wonderful. They do run a tad small though so, order 1 European size up from your usual. The toe box is really narrow, so some extra room would be nice to wiggle toes. If I hadn't been so close to needing them for a trip, I probably would have exchanged them for one size larger. Other than that, the boots are great! I walked miles and miles in them on Isle of Man and then continued riding/walking in pouring rain in Ireland for over a week. The boots are truly waterproof and comfortable! June 16, 2014
I love this boot! After trying numerous brands of boots, these are by far the most comfortable. There was no break-in period. The leather is so soft. They also provide great protection. My feet are always cold and get that way easily, and these boots kept my feet warm in cool weather, but not sweaty in the heat. I love my boots! June 16, 2014
Great woman's boot! I bought these a few weeks ago and just got back from a 700 mile, 3 day ride. These boots are very well made and comfortable on the bike and off. I have narrow feet and they fit me perfectly. Love the style and pebbled-textured leather panels and the leather broke in quickly. I can't comment on the long term durability but, so far, I love these boots. June 9, 2014
Nice protection with exceptional comfort! My wife's been wearing the Sveltas for about a month and loves them! We're based in California, so mild to hot weather riding is typical. Even in 90 degree weather, the boots wicked away the moisture and felt good. They offer nice protective features while being super comfortable on day-long rides. They're easy to walk around in when off the bike, and carry the water-proof goretex warranty in addition to the Dianese warranty, making them great bang for the buck. Ronda at Revzilla was awesome, she helped my wife determine which boot would work well for her style and riding needs. Once again, we've had a great experience working with Revzilla! May 12, 2014
Very comfortable and flexible! Just received my boots. They are very comfortable. The fit is perfect. I usually wear size 8.5-9, and I ordered a 39. They are very flexible. The heel feel a bite loose but the boot stay in place. It's very well done and high quality boots. I don't know about durability but it does not seems to be a concern. ....and as usual, ordering from Revzilla is always easy and efficient! April 1, 2014
LOVE the Dianese Svelta The fit is a little narrow in the toe box, heel, and calf sleeve, but not freakishly so and fits my slightly narrow foot like it's made for me. If, like me, you've tried other boots in a size that's long enough, then the fit was sloppy, try this boot. I usually wear a 38 in European shoes and the 38 is perfect. The toe box works great with my BMW K1600 shift and brake mechanisms ... not so with bulkier exterior boots. Shin and ankle protection, stiff sole, and toe protection are no nonsense equipment for real riders but styling is sleek and sexy. In Seattle you ride in the rain or you don't ride. These boots keep my feet dry in the gunkiest weather. Love these boots. Thank you! February 3, 2014
Dainese Boots are the Best--Stylish, Sturdy, and Comfortable! This is my second pair of Dainese boots and they did not disappoint! I've been very impressed with the fit and finish--high-quality craftsmanship is evident and the fit is perfect and consistent in each boot. The leather is an excellent grade and the design makes me feel safe commuting, taking road trips, and even during track days. The zippers open and close with ease, yet they lock in place. These boots are the perfect mix of stiff and flexible. They give me the flexibility to shift with good feel on the lever and the pivoting ankle design allows me to point my toes to touch ground at stoplights. The sole material grips wet, dry, or oily pavement with ease. Best of all, I can walk all day in them when we stop to see the sights and my feet have no hot spots, blisters, or any discomfort. I swear I could run a marathon in them. Temperature control is done right, too. My feet stay warm when they need to be warm, yet cool when it warms up. November 11, 2013
Protective, Fashionable and Comfortable Women's Motorcycle Boot I love these boots! PROS: Sturdy Highly protective Good fit Good traction Stable footing Easy to shift Great esthetic design CONS: If you have bunions, you may need to wear foam protectors because the leather is quite stiff. This is a good thing because your feet, ankles, and lower shin are highly protected Price is high, but you're getting a great product GENERAL COMMENTS: I took out the stock insole and put in a slightly thicker insole. You can't use an insole that has a lot of contour in the heel because you'll lose the heel grip that is built into the design of the boot. It's like a ski boot where you push your heel back into the heel. I have medium to narrow feet, slightly high arches, and slighty narrow heels and these boots fit fine. The size is European and I settled on a size 41 after trying the 42 first. I am a size 9.5 (slightly longer, but not a 10). There is room in the toe - seems to be about 3/4 inch. I considered going down a size, but because of the stiffness of the leather I decided to stick with the 41. Walking is a little stiff, but it should be because your main use of this boot is for riding, not walking. Bring an extra pair of shoes if you'll be doing a lot of walking while using your bike to get around. Shifting was easy and really comfortable. It's great having such sturdy leather and a great grippy sole. You feel safer and it makes moving the bike with your feet easier. September 15, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Raymond W: Purchased these boots because the first time out in sneakers , I broke my 3 toes. These are light, fashionable, and VERY well made. I highly recommend these boots for any kind of riding! Jul 7, 2014
J T: looks nice, it's a dainese. gf loves it. Mar 21, 2014

Vicky L: 1.5 - 2 inches so give just a little lift when on the bike. Theses boots were comfortable right out if the box and I've done over 10,000 miles in them and they're still amazing! Apr 18, 2014

Matt K: I bought this boot for my wife. She finds it a very comfortable height of heel, about 1 1/4 inches tall. Looks good when she wears it on the bike or off the bike with jeans.

The leather is soft and the boot is well made. It fits about a half size large. She wears a 9 1/2 street shoe and the 9 fits perfect.

Would buy it again.

Dasha L: About 1.5". Great boots! Perfect in any weather: cold, heat, keep your feet dry in the rain - I wore them out in one season - mind you I put 13k on my bike. :-) you will not regret the buy. Apr 18, 2014

STASY R: It's difficult to tell because of the curved back, but my guess is you get about 1 3/4 - 2" lift from these boots. Apr 18, 2014

A shopper asked: Are these boots any warmer than most boots? I know they are gortex but are they insulated? Sep 16, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jeff B: These boots are not insulated. The beauty of goretex however is total wind block which keeps you remarkably warmer in cold temps and real breathability (vs essentially all other materials claiming breathability) which makes these boots useful in warm temps. Comfortable from about 40 to 90 degrees without extra thick or thin socks etc. Sep 16, 2013

STASY R: These boots are lined, but not insulated. The leather is thick and sturdy. I purchased a pair of wool+silk blend socks to wear in these boots when it's cold. The sock are great and do the job, keeping my feet super toasty in these boots. Socks: Thorlo Unisex Moderate Cushion Ski Sock, Natural, Size Medium (I'm a size 9.5-10 women's shoe) Sep 17, 2013

Vicky L: I ride in Vermont and have found these boots to be amazing. Not only are they comfortable, they are breathable and able to be worn in cold and hot. I've worn them in 95 degree weather down to the low 40's. I've ridden almost 8,000 miles in them this summer and from my experience, I highly recommend this boot. Sep 19, 2013

Elizabeth H: I find them slightly warmer than other boots; I rode in about 50 degrees this morning and my feet were surprisingly toasty. With that said, I've also worn them in 90-degree weather without any discomfort. Sep 17, 2013

Matthew P: My wife has only worn these during the month of August, but says her feet weren't roasting at all. If the product description doesn't state they're insulated, then I would assume they are not. Sep 16, 2013

Mehmet O: This is my first motorcycle boot so can't compare with others. I did not get a chance to use them in cold weather yet. It is dry when we had rain about 10 minutes but rain was not hard. Sep 16, 2013

Emily L asked: Sizing question: I'm a size 6.5 that usually goes down to a 6 if no half size. In Euro designer shoes (heels) I'm usually a 36. I'm seeing the that size guide would have me buy a 38 though...what do you think? Aug 2, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Dasha L: The sizing chart is very accurate with this boot. I am Euro 38 and I bought a 38, fits perfectly!. So if you know your euro size, go with that. :-) Aug 5, 2014
Reply to Dasha Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
STASY R: Hi Emily,

I'm not sure about European sizing, but I am a 9.5, narrow forefoot, high arch and narrow heel. I ended up getting the 41. I put a new insole in them and I always wear wool socks in them.

I probably could have gone down to the 40, as right now I have about 3/4 inch in the front. I tend to err on the side of being a little longer if the fit is close between two sizes. If it's too short, you won't be able to use it and you've wasted $270. You can always wear thicker socks and put in a thicker insole if it's a little too roomy. Read my review (the first one) where I discuss the fit.

Also, Revzilla has a free return policy so that you can get a good fit. Please call them and ask. It was worth it for me to order the two different sizes and walk around my house in them for a couple of hours to decide.

They are great boots, but definitely get the right size ;).

Lily C: I'm a solid size 6 and I bought a size 38. That size was good for me. I usually wear medium-thickness socks (Hanes types). There's enough room for me to wear thick socks as well. With medium-thickness socks, my toe is close to the end of the shoe (i.e. I probably wouldn't fit a size smaller than 38). While the length is good, the shoe actually has a lot of room/space at the top of the foot. I think that is to allow for you to wear thicker socks during colder weather. I actually usually ride with a really thin insert that only goes to the ball of the foot (to help with my foot arch). I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Aug 6, 2014

Rania M: Emily, I wear a size 8 US women's and wear a size 39 Euro. I have owned these boots since about Sept of 2013 and fit perfectly in a size 39. The tag on the inside of the boot does say US 7, 39 Euro. However, like I said I am a size 8 in boots and sneakers. Aug 5, 2014

Betty W: I wear the same size as you I would go with the 38, I have a little wider calf and this does not fit me well. Aug 5, 2014
