A rider who rides every day in all weather- perfect womens boot I get compliments from non riders that they like my boots, some don't even know they are riding boots. I only own a bike traveling in California working as a stunt woman, rain or shine these have held, broken in so comfortably, feel the clutch shifting & most importantly, I feel protected. I did a lot of research, I hope whoever reads this will get this boot you won't be disappointed. Go Revzilla! May 29, 2014
Low profile and comfy; all I need. These were recommended to me by another lady rider who absolutely loved them. After trying on all sizes and styles of both mens and womens boots at Cycle Gear and being let down in one way or another (poor fit, pinching my foot in places, too difficult to get on, too complicated, unnecessary features, etc) I gave these a try. While they may be visually underwhelming (I feel they lack the same slick style Dainese is known for), once you put them on you likely won't want to take them off. They do seem to run large. Normally I'm a size 8.5 or 9 but I fit into a 7.5 (size 40) in these very comfortably. I've also been told they stretch and give a little after you break them in. The zipper can be very difficult to pull up though so I'd recommend attaching a tiny keychain or ring to them so you have something to grab onto. Especially with gloves on that zipper will be hard to work. They fit perfectly over my Dainese Pony pants and aren't too tight or too loose around my calf. I have athletic legs but my calves are neither excessively slim or bulging. Pretty average. They probably will get a bit warm in the heat of summer as they are waterproof with no ventilation, and they are a sturdy boot. So just invest in some good moisture wicking socks. My riding position is sport/standard (Triumph street triple) and they bend comfortably at the front of the ankle to allow for the angle of my foot on the pegs/shifter/break pedal. I'll update once I have more riding time in them under my belt, but so far they're very comfy! May 27, 2014
My first pair of boots!!!! I would first like to start by saying these boots are very comfortable and very waterproof! I got caught in the rain and i was soaked. My feet... stayed warm and very dry. These boots are very flexible, enough to shift comfortably but sturdy enough to provide needed protection. My normal shoe size is a 7, boots stay true to size. My only complaint: on my left boot in the calf part of my boot, seems like some sort of metal protection "piece" has moved. So while im riding it feels like its digging into my calf a little. Maybe i received a damaged pair since it doesn't seem like anyone else has had this problem. Overall, these boots are great and very comfortable even walking around off the bike. May 14, 2013
very good boots for ladies ridding two up or, ridding single on a gold wing 1800. my wife has been using these boots for some weeks now and she loves them, the rides have become longer and her comfort and style is off the chart. May 1, 2013
This is a great boot! This boot is truly waterproof. It's comfortable to walk around in with no break-in period. I would highly recommend this boot. September 10, 2012
Comfortable and great looking! With all the women riding these days, you would think that there would be a better selection of boots out there. And I'm not talking about the cheesy ones that look like a runway model would wear them. I'm talking about a boot that is durable, waterproof and offers excellent protection. If that's what you're looking for, then Dainese's Siren D-WP is the boot for you! I typically wear a size 7 US, so I ordered the 39 EURO and they fit me perfect. Overall, they are very comfortable and great looking. I absolutely LOVE these boots! August 6, 2012
Style and comfort! These boots are great. I ride a BMW G 650GS and do a lot of muddy gravel roads. Even after a long day of riding, 5-7 hours, my feet don't feel cramped and are always dry. They are even comfortable for walking around off the bike for long periods. It took me weeks of researching and comparing products to finally decide on these boots and I am sure glad I did, worth every penny! June 25, 2012
Excellent Boots!! These boots are great! Better than expected actually... They fit true to size, I am size 8 and bought EURO 40. They feel solid and well crafted. The boots have a very nice fleece-like liner, which came as a nice surprise as it didn't say that in the details. - The protective shin-guard is a big plus. They feel comfy to walk and ride in, recommend them to anyone looking for an all-weather boot. May 3, 2012

Michelle B: Hi,
I take the same size as your wife, 8.5
I bought size 40 in ST SIREN D - WP LADY, DIANESE BOOT. The boot is great. They feel crazy weird if you have never had this type of boot before. They are stiff and take a while to break in. Also, the boot fits like a glove, tighter than regular day to day boot. I can spend alot of time in these boots but would not want to walk around all day. I would definitely recommend them with all of the safety features they offer. I ride a Street Triple 2012, my legs are pretty tucked under - so the leg and ankle bend in this boot is secure and comfortable. Good luck to you.

Sui J: I wear US size 7 on regular shoes and 7.5 or 8 on sneakers. On me, that translates to European size 38. I have two Dainese shoes size 38 and they fit perfect. For regular shoes 8.5 I'd suggest European size 39 or 40 (40 is probably a better fit). By the way, these are great and comfortable shoes. Sep 11, 2013

Daniel S: I ordered the equivalent size that corresponded to my wifes foot size and found it to be a bit snug, she kept them but I would suggest a half size up, so size 9, which I believe would be the 42, especially if she will wear a heavier sock. Sep 11, 2013

Alene B: Sure. I wear size 8, and the size 40 boots are perfect. I first ordered the 39's and they were too tight. My feet are on the narrow side, 5'5" 129 lbs. hope that helps. Love the boots. Sep 11, 2013

A shopper asked: what is the heel height on these boots, please? Nov 6, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
CreepingShadow: I am 5'1" and I have trouble with bike height. I ride a KLX250SF that we've lowered the maximum amount. I stand on the bike and both feet are solidly on the balls of my feet. I cannot flat foot.

Previous to getting these boots, I wore hiking boots. With the Dainese, I have seen no height difference from my hiking boots. These are not high boots at all. They aren't absurdly low -- just about equal to your average hiking shoe.

Stevan P: Unfortunately, we do not have these in stock yet to offer a measurement, however, they will more than likely be 1.25" like their current offerings. Nov 15, 2011
