The specifically structured outsole and the waterproof D-WP liner permit use even in not particularly challenging off-road conditions. Made with painstaking attention in design and detail, this boot vaunts adjustable aluminum buckles, D-Stone™ inserts, and suede leather on the cowhide upper while guaranteeing high safety levels with the use of nylon inserts at the toes and ankles, thermoformed inserts on the shin, and reflecting inserts.

Great Boot for Street Riding Even though I don't ride off-road, I wanted a sturdy pair of boots with enough height to protect from the hot pipes on my bike. These are a perfect solution. They are high enough and solid enough to be protective on the bike, but are also easy to walk around in once I get to my destination. They also fit under my jeans, and unless someone is looking really closely, they are hard to tell from normal black boots--not too extreme looking. For me and my riding style, these are perfect! Surprisingly Comfortable Picked these up one week ago. Haven't had ANY rain up here in the Northeast, but I can comment that the boots feel rugged, yet they still allow for you to maintain decent sensitivity through the soles and toes for braking and shifting. They are warm (which I agree is to be completely expected), but they are also surprisingly comfortable off the bike (I'm generally an 11 to 11 1/2 and bought the size 45). If I snug up the top of the boot they will fit under a pair of regular jeans as well. Thanks Joe for your help! July 11, 2010

How forgiving is the width on these boots? I can usually get away with ordering up a size unless something runs very narrow. If not, is there a better WP boot to look to (preferably in Dainese or Sidi)?

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
