Dainese Norsorex Pro-Shape Pants E1
Keeps your armor in place
I have only done one ride, but that was 200 miles. I like the snug fit because it keeps the armor in the proper spot. Knee armor seems really hard to keep in place and these do the job. They might be a little warm when 90 degree temps get here, but I think at speed they will be OK.

Saved my leg
I clipped the rear end of a car doing about 60mph. My left knee caved in the bumper (plastic), the quarter panel (steel), and my shin got caught between the cars wheel and my rearset, which popped the tire on the car. Thankfully, physics weren't paying attention and I bounced off and landed in some grass off the shoulder. After tearing off my jeans I found that I had compressed the padding throughout the left leg to the point of no return. I ended up with no broken bones, no fractures, and just one little boo boo on my knee.
I walked away relatively unscathed from a situation that should've (at the very least) left me mangled. These underpants saved my leg from being completely cut and smashed to ribbons. I recommend body armor to everyone, especially after having had a few crashes. Don't be dumb. Buy armor. Live longer. Ride more. Very simple.

As a new rider..
I really don't know what to expect. I know every crash is different. I've read other reviews like it doesn't breath and it's too hot. Well at least for me, it breath fine so far lol. I just hope that it does it's job when that time comes.

A niche product...
I have put 7800 miles on these pants and washed them several times. I like soft armor and am quite used to how it feels to have these, and other products like those made by Forcefield, on. I have worn them in a sport oriented and cafe oriented position. I don't know how they would be in any other riding style.
One thing that you have to know is that this armor is supposed to be stiff initially and mold as you wear it. I am 5'10" 156 lbs and got a medium. I am Euro cut so I am familiar with Dainese. In the 105 degree summers these get pretty hot. Anything that is protective will keep you hot in warm weather. Other than that - I took one spill with them in a rear end accident (I got hit) and they held up perfectly. I trust Dainese and Forcefield with my life.

Don't leave home without them
I'm an All The Gear All The Time guy. I wear these for every road ride and many dual sport rides that aren't likely to get extreme. They are comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing them. The padding is a compromise between comfort and protection. I'm sure you can smack a knee harder than this gear can deflect, so if I expect trouble I'll wear moto hard knee pads.
If you want one piece of armor that you can slip on under jeans, and get pretty good protection, I recommend these pants.

great insurance in a slip-on
I followed the size guideline. Initially I thought they were a bit small, but after a couple days of wearing around the home they seemed just right -- tight enough to keep the armor in place, but non-constricting. I did some knee drops which I could never tolerate without them and was amazed how such a sleek fit could negate what I would feel without them.
I got the last of warm weather in them and felt they breathed exceptionally well, and now I'm wearing them under a thermal layer for 35-50 degree riding. With jeans or my regular riding pants I feel natural in my movements yet when I check the pad placement everything is right where it should be and resists being shifted around.
I think they'd make a big difference in involuntary get-offs like I've had previously off-road, so I ride as carefree as I have in the past in Klim pants with knee and hip pads. And unlike those, these don't shift around. And yet it's easy enough to put the Nosorex pants on that it doesn't deter me from wearing them on more casual rides around town or country. Good insurance!

Protective long johns.....
Feels like I am wearing wool long johns. They don't breathe very well so very hot.
Fit and finish was good. The legs were about 2 inches too long for me for 5'9", 175 lbs, 27" inseam, medium size.
I ended up returning them as they were way too hot and uncomfortable to wear. Went with Kevlar jeans instead. Anything above 60 degrees and I would be sweating in these.

Fast shipping, product as described.
I'm 6', 190 lbs with a 34" waist product was slightly tight at first but after some time in the saddle you get used to it and its quite comfortable.
Shipping to Canada was somewhat expensive via courier may I suggest looking into US postal/Canada post parcel service.
