Very comfortable
These are so comfortable! I just started riding so haven't had a chance to really test them out in rain or anything yet, but I wore these for the 2 day motorcycle safety foundation class and they're super comfortable and look good too. Its starting to get hot here in Georgia and I started to burn up in my jacket but I didn't get hot in these boots, and they didn't even really smell bad after the hours of riding either.

Well built
These boots are well built and should last me years. The sole and heel are like glue to blacktop, excellent grip on the pavement but always be careful of painted surfaces. I never heard of a boot already broken in because everybodys feet are different. I wear them about a hour a day. I will be doing a seven thousand mile road trip soon. All the materials used in these boots is high quality. I hate getting wet feet. I did a lot of research and I went with these boots. Buy yourself a pair. price a little steep but you get a top notch boot.

Great boots and great service
"There is no way I will pay $300 for a pair of riding boots." That was then - this is now. I wear size 12.5 in B width - impossible to fit in American boots. I spoke with Joel, and he recommended three possible solutions. After more discussion, I settled on and ordered the Fulcrum boots. Absolutely the best fitting boots I've ever riden in - more comfortable than my street shoes, even right out of the box! They feel like they could be a tad warm in warmer weather, but I understand that is where the GoreTex comes in; I haven't riden in warm weather yet - just got the boots earlier this week. The only part of this purchase that was better than the boots has been the service from Revzilla. Professional service, and package arrived in three days across the country through a blizzard in Colorado - unbelievably great customer service. Thanks Joel and Revzilla.

The best of the best
I consider my feet to be like tires: the most important thing between me and the road. Add to this, I alternate specially built orthotics with a Gerbing heated insole. I do a good deal of touring on both a 1991 Honda ST1100 and a 2003 Heritage Springer - so I wanted a boot that would work with both bikes and that I could hike (even jog) in if I wanted to. Buying new boots on-line was not an option. I spent days researching (Gortex) boots online. Finally, after verification from Revzilla's Customer Service that they had the boots I was interested in IN STOCK, I drove from Northern Virginia to Philly so I could go to the Revzilla display room and actually try on all the various boots. I spent nearly four hours trying on every boot I was interested in, plus about five others I found on the display shelves, all with the different insole options...but I still wasn't satisfied. At that point Bobby, my remarkably patient salesperson, asked if he could recommend a boot that I hadn't even had on my list: the Dianese Fulcrum. The moment I put them on I knew they were the ones that fight all my needs - plus were the most comfortable boot of any kind I'd ever put my feet into. I've already tested them out on both bikes in 30 degree weather and walking around the house for hours. These are amazing boots: comfortable, flexible, protective and stylishly good looking. If you are a touring fan who spends as much time off the bike as on it when you travel and only want one pair of boots I suggest you give these a serious test run.

The Best Boot Yet
Finally...I found the perfect boot for me. I wanted a Gore-Tex boot and originally purchased another brand boot which did not work for a number of reasons. The Dainese Fulcrum has a sole that is not too rigid, a toe box that is not too tall (didn't have to adjust shift lever), flexibility at the ankle (no more motocross shifting), a perfect size 9/European 42, and I think it's one of the best looking boots out there. A similar boot can be purchased here for a +/- $50 savings......The features and quality of this boot blow every other boot in it's class away.......a must buy in my opinion.

Great boot with the expected Dainese quality
First of all, I haven't been on I ride with these yet. I plan on writting another review for that. The Dainese box is huge. The boots look like very high quality and the leather is very nice. I wear a 44 in the Vibram Five Finger shoes which is 11 1/4 US. The got the Dainese in 45 which is 11 1/2 US and they fit well. They are a little wider in the heel than previous motorcycle boots (my last ones were the Icon Accelerant 11.5 US and they fit great) but I don't foresee that to be a problem. The protection is good on these boots. If you want better protection then go with the TRQs in Gore-Tex. Also the shin portion of the boot is very wide because they are designed to have the pants tucked inside the boot. If you wear the pants on the outside it's possible to experience some chaffing. The boots when walking around in them are very comfortable. Like another reviewer said they are like slippers.
The zipper is of very high quality and they allow for me to get in and out of them quickly.
The soles are Skywalk and they seem like they will handle anti-freeze, motor oil, and other evils while stopped at an intersection. What I don't know is how to replace the sole when they wear out.
I plan on getting several years of use out of this boot and as long as I don't hit the ground too many times; I think I will.

Very comfortable
I bought these boots after trying on a half dozen models in a local store. These were by far the most comfortable, right out of the box, and I had read good things about them in reviews here and elsewhere, so even though they were more expensive than I wanted to spend, I ended up getting them. So far I only have 5 or 6 hours wearing them on the bike, and they've been great. Comfortable in both cold and warm temps (I've worn them in temps ranging from about 35 to about 65, but not in real hot weather yet) and they feel good - no sweaty feet. I haven't worn them in rain yet, nor have they been in a crash, so I can't comment on those aspects. But they certainly look and feel good on the feet while on the bike, and are comfortable for walking in too.

As said in other reviews these boots feel like my slippers!
I generally wear a size 9.5 US men's, and unfortunately, there are no half European sizes. So I went a half size up to 10 US = size 43 Euro. With my regular ankle socks which I won't be wearing with the boot, the fit was questionably too long. But once I put on my Rev IT motorcycle socks....Success! The fit is spot on. Did not want to order a size smaller for fear my foot would be to cramped in the toe box.
