A perfect ride requires a perfect grip on the handlebars: the Druids glove is offered to the most athletic riders in search of quality and light weight. Equipped with carbon inserts on the knuckles, the back, and the base of the fingers, a reinforced palm with a TPR insert and a single panel of leather at the side of the hand, this goatskin glove also has elasticated inserts and innovative Microelastic inserts that ensure excellent movement of the hand, even when pushed to the limit.

Great glove, although I expected a bit more of a "glove" for this much money. The fit was great for my hands, except the pinky finger, which due to the pre-curved shape and distortion control is a bit too long for the pinky. This issue dissapears once you grab the handlebar.
airflow is more than i expected, riding in high 70s is absolutely comfortable, but obviously, below 60s is too cold. easy to use your hands in gloves, zippers etc.
absolutely recommend, great quality product from D again!

This glove has all the right features for a great price. If you're a street rider looking for top notch protection and don't hit the track too much, these are the gloves to go for. They look awesome, are super protective, but also allow you to feel the controls very well. I highly recommend these.

Fit really well and felt comfortable immediately. Easy to move in, nice built in curve. Great protection in the right places without being super expensive like the high end gloves. Mostly using them for street riding and feel well protected. Wish they were a little less expensive, but they are definitely cool.

I really like the gloves and the style, construction and protection are top notch. My only small complaint is the new "american" Dainese glove fitting, is to much play inside the glove fingers. I prefer the euro tighter fit in the palm and fingers. The glove breaks in incredible fast and thats probably because of the more forgiven glove sizes from Dainese. I also believe the gloves are a great value!

This set of gloves is pretty much one of the best values out there right now. It's right there in the mid point between a simple glove and the Rossi replicas, or perhaps a little bit closer to the Rossi replica gloves. Great protection and I want to say decen price but they're still a little expensive though.
Still, we're talking about protecting your hands, so just how much are you hands worth? that's the question you need to ask yourself. I'm using these gloves for every day riding and the track.

I must start off by saying that I have yet to ride with the Dainese Druids gloves (still too cold to break out the leathers and fire up the bike here in NY). However trying them on multiple times, I can tell this is going to be a great glove. The fingers don't fit as snug as say an Alpinestars GP Tech or GP Plus (both of which I've owned in the past), but these gloves do offer similar protection as the Alpinestars GP Plus. Good features, comfort is definitely there, and as far as the look, well as most of the Dainese products, it's just beautiful. I can already tell it won't be as bulky as the GP Tech's because there is no big thermoplastic wrist panel. The Dainese Druids gloves does have some foam padding in the wrist closure which provides a nice added level of protection without restricting you in any way.
I should mention I'm a large in most gloves and these fit well. I'm actually hoping the sweat and overall wear makes theme shrink just a bit for a true surgical feel but can't complain.
In terms of looks, well it's elegant, it's stylish, it's Dainese. A little more refined and subtle compared to Alpinestars, and once again a certain tailored look that only Dainese seems to pull off. These are a great match for my new Dainese Laguna Seca Pro Estiva.
As far as price goes, I managed to purchase these during the 15% off sale in January ($178), which was incredible for a new barely released 2012 glove. However, even at the full $209 price these are still very well priced considering the protection they offer, and where in the lineup of Dainese gloves they sit (3rd behind Steel Core Carbon, and Full Metal Pro). In terms of bang for the buck, I think this glove fits the bill. Overall just a beautiful, comfortable, and most importantly protective glove.

I wear both Dianese and A-Stars gloves in size small so I am going to try to answer your question. This year (2012) it is claimed that Dainese made a bit more of "American" fit for their gloves which I take to mean a bit larger cut but, I cannot comment on the 2012 line. My exp has been with the 2011 line of Dainese gloves; the Full Metal Pro and Four Stroke gloves and the A-Star's Dry Star. I would say the glove sizing is very similar. Both brands have required a "break-in" period for me. Both brands were very tight trying to fit the palms of my hands in the gloves but, after the "break-in" period fit very well and comfortable. Even if this doen't help you determine the size needed, the Revzilla return policy on the first purchase is first rate. If you have to retrun them for a size exchange all you pay is the return fee. Of course the product needs to be returned in unused condition with all tags attached in the original packaging. I had to do this on my first purchase of the Dainese Four Stroke gloves. Hope this helps.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
