Great protection, comfort and look. Pants offer a lot of protection and are very comfortable. I wear a 34-36 waist and the 56 pants are a bit large on me. They do zip into my Dianese Jacket, alleviating the sizing issue almost entirely. I would highly recommend these pants for riding in the street or on the track. April 15, 2014
Excellent quality, but.... First off, these are super high quality pants. The fit is true to size in my opinion. I'm 5'7", athletic build, 140#, and can fit in a 29x30 jean. The size 46 fit perfectly, and seeing how I wear a 46 in most other brands of pants, I'd say they run true to size. Super comfy off the bike and on, my only complaint is that the stretch material in the crotch seems it should extend a bit further towards the seat of the pant, as the leather makes it hard to initially get your knee out when out at the track, or riding agressively in the canyon. It took a full day at the track and several sessions before the leather stretched enough for me to finally get my knee on the ground. Other than that that, excellent quality and build. Would buy again, as long as dainese remedies the crotch issue. August 25, 2013
great protection im writing this because i unfortunately have crash tested these. fortunately i was wearing these pants. these pants helped save my skin. i went down in gravel at 60mph and came out unscathed. these pants held up very well, all stitching held up, zippers all work and with a little leather cleaner you cant barely tell i went down. these pant do break in a lot. i special ordered mine and when i got them they were real tight. i didnt send them back because i figured they would loosen up a bit, but in actuality the loosened up so much i wish i would have got a size smaller. they do breathe so you wont overheat. i wear these and a dianese jacket and i seem to be cool when its hot yet warm enough when i ride at night overall well worth the money considering how much i saved in hospital bills had i not been wearing them, or money spent on replacing cheaper pants that will fall apart. Best. Pants. Ever. For years I laughed at my friend Ben, who had a penchant for wearing leather pants. But to be fair, he didn't ride a motorcycle; he just thought they were fashionable. They weren't. Fast forward 10 years, and I have bought myself a motorcycle and am looking for something stylish and protective to put on my legs and lower torso. What do I find? Leather pants! And they're fabulous. I kept wearing them around the house until my wife started reading 50 Shades of Gray... Now I just wear them on the bike. But that's ok, because riding is where these pants shine. They are incredibly comfortable in riding position, and flow enough air to keep me from getting heatstroke. The armor feels solid and reassuring, and, frankly, they make me look like I'm a much better rider than I am. If I had to think of one complaint about these pants, it's that the knee sliders are a bit defective: no matter how hard I try I just can't get them to touch the ground when I lean my bike. Maybe mine are just too short or something. Anyway, I stopped wearing them because people were laughing at how pristine the demon-head logos were. So, you may ask, how do these pants stack up to my friend Ben's? Well, I'll tell you: 1. These pants feel I destructible, and with the D-Skin leather and CE armor they are pretty close. You feel protected when riding with hem, and that confidence feels good. Ben's pants had no armor, and would likely fall apart in a strong wind. 2. The Delta Pro pants look amazing. Pictures don't come close to doing these pants justice. Without these pants I look like a 40-year-old prat who bought himself an expensive toy. With them, people think I know what I'm doing. Women wolf-whistle at me, and so do some men. Nothing wrong with that, I'm still flattered. I feel like a million bucks wearing them, which means that I came out $999,950.00 ahead with this transaction. Conversely, Ben looked a little bit like a bi-curious '80s drug dealer in his leather pants. It did not help that he wore them with sneakers. 3. These pants are totally track ready. Ben's pants were lounge-ready. 4. Ben paid a couple hundred bucks for his pants. I paid a lot more for these, so on the surface it looks like he got a better deal. But you have to pay for quality, and the Delta Pros are certainly quality. Every stitch and every detail scream it. They even smell like fine quality leather. Ben's pants smelled like... Well, lets not talk about that. In conclusion, buy these pants if you want awesome riding pants that look and feel way better than lesser leather pants. Particularly better than leather pants that aren't made for riding. May 15, 2013
Excellent I have not tried them on the track, but for road riding and in very hot weather like Dubai, UAE (+113 F) it is just fantastic. Fit is excellent - i wear US 34 and got 52. Could be worn inside or outside boots - Side Vortice. Zipper fit my Dainese Textile Jacket. Highly recommend May 13, 2013
Long distance riding I grabbed these pants because I had an upcoming trip that I wanted to be protected for. I broke them in for about two weeks prior to the trip but they were still just a hair tight on day one of my trip down Blue Ridge Parkway. By day 2 they were fantastic and felt great. We ended up riding through quite a bit of rain on day 2 and day 3 and they held up fantastically. Going up through the mountains at 4000' it was chilly but my legs never were. I haven't crash tested them and I certainly hope I don't have to but I feel protected while wearing these. My only critique is that I hang off the bike a lot and like to spread my legs wide in corners. These do restrict your ability to spread your legs wide a bit but overall I'm quite happy. May 7, 2013
Great pants - a review on size A guide for size: I got the 52 size. I’m 5’11, 175 pounds and have a swimmers body (larger back, smaller waist, 11.5% body fat and work out regularly.) 31-32in waist. The lower pant portion of these pants were a perfect fit. Waist has about 2-3 inches of “extra” material which can be easily tightened with the velco on either side. Backside has more material than I hoped for; thought it would be a “tighter” fit despite me having a round backside. Had I done 1 size smaller, the waist and backside would have fit much better BUT the pants would have been rather tight on the leg part. That would have resulted hellish to ride track in the summer. This size fit me the best. Hope this helps others choose wisely! They look great. First time I put them on my girlfriend ripped them right off! April 23, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Stephen M: Because they're Italian and so am I ;) Seriously though, Dainese puts out a wonderful product. They really are the apex predator of motorcycle gear. Like most Italian products, marriage of style with performance is key. I already purchased Dainese's Zen Evo Jacket, loved it, and now needed a pair of riding pants that would mesh up with the connecting 360' zipper. Not only are the Delta Pros one of the most stylish riding pants, they're also the most technical, protection I will be glad to have. Feb 20, 2014
Jonathon F: Top notch quality and amazing airflow. I would say sizing is true to size in these pants, since I usually wear a 46eu in other brands and I'm th same size in these. Match up well with my Dainese Rebel Jacket as well. Revzilla was extremely helpful in choosing my size as well! Dec 2, 2013
Ryan K asked: I'm looking to eventually join a pare of these with my Dainese Super Speed Jacket. I was wondering how other users have found the comfort of these two piece suits? Particularly where the two join. Are there any undesired issues like the jacket pulling up on the pants or vice versa? Since everyone is built a little differently it seems that connection would be the place for comfort problems to stem. Aug 22, 2013

MODESTA U: I have a dainese VR46 size 48jacket and my delta pros in size 50. They fit perfectly the zipper conection fits great to make a two piece suit. Very comfy and ventilated for really hot places. The delta pros fit me a little bit large but that is because I should have ordered a size 48. Any way it feels very comfy for long trips. I really really recommend the delta pros I'm very happy with those. Aug 23, 2013

Sebastian R: I personally find it MUCH more comfortable having 2 pieces than 1. The 1 piece suits are a pain in the arse to get in and out of, especially on hot track days. You can’t get out of it without a friends help! I like the comfort of being able to remove the jacket while I’m waiting for my next turn up on the track by myself. I also like to use my jackets with jeans sometimes which you cannot do with a full 1 piece race suit. You can also mix-match pants with jackets which is pretty cool. Having tried both ways, I prefer to 2 piece suits. I have a 50 size jacket and a 52 size pants. On the 1 piece suit I was 54 which made it bulky in some areas and too tight on others. Aug 23, 2013

Bobby P: I've bought these pants and the comfort level are great. They zip up fine with my Dainese jacket. It doesn't pull down your jacket because once zippered together it stretches out to give you better comfort in the riding position. Also I've have went down on these at the track and they held up fine. No rips or tears. Hopes this helps you. Aug 23, 2013

Oladimeji O: The items were great and the customer service rep were very helpful.

I bought the items for a friend of mine and he loves it except that I bought a wrong size for him. I am re-ordering another size for him.

Donald L: I prefer to join the pants to the jacket when riding, no issues with fit. The pants will only join with a Dainese jacket I tried my Alpinestares jacket and the zipper is slightly different. Aug 23, 2013

Alton B: I paired the Delta Pro pants with a new Delmar jacket from Dianese. The jacket zips to the pants fairly easily and I have had no issues. I really like the pants. Aug 23, 2013

A shopper asked: Your video review of the Dainese Delta Pro Pants stated that the lining of the pants are removable. Can you please confirm this and let me know how to remove them? I don't remember seeing zippers in the inner lining of the pants. Feb 5, 2012

RevZilla: We were actually mistaken when we said the liner is removable. It is definitely not removable. Please do not try to remove the liner. Bad things will happen. May 3, 2012

A shopper asked: Hi guys,

I bought my Dainese Delta Pro pants earlier this summer in size 52 (EU). I tried them in size 54 as well but those ones seemed to be a notch bigger (slightly sliding down without being zipped up) so I kept the size 52 and did lots of riding hoping they'd stretch at the knee a bit more, but didn't happen. Typically riding for 4 - 6 hours nearly daily, can become a problem as the knee ares is very tightly compressed, making my legs tired pretty quickly. Is there a way I could stretch that knee area without asking a tailor to amend them?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards from Germany.

Stuart K.: I do not know how you could stretch leather other than what it will naturally do, but still does not stretch that much, and you really do not want it to. Only things I could suggest is to either have someone tailor a bit or get a different pair that fit you properly. I see all gear to be like helmets yeah I may love one that looks cool, but it is does not fit properly then it is pointless to even wear. Jan 21, 2012

Jason70: I had the same problem, I wear elastic knee supports under the pants to make them far more comfortable. Im sure they will wear in as everything else I have that is Dainese seems to. May 13, 2013

A shopper asked: I am thinking of getting the Dainese Delta Pro Leather Pants to go with my Dainese AVRO jacket. I am 5'11'' and weigh 155is pounds. I wear 30" US size jeans (30x32). I have pretty slim legs (AKA no butt). What size would you recommend? I was leaning toward the 48's, but I know Dainese runs small. Trying to avoid a baggy pant, as I know these will stretch. Thanks!

A shopper asked: Will these zip properly to the Dainese Zen Evo jacket? Oct 19, 2012

RevZilla: Yes, the Dainese Delta Pro Leather Pants will zip up to any Dainese jacket. Oct 19, 2012

A shopper asked: Most pants I've seen come with both sides of the 360 degree zipper so you can sew the jacket-half into a different brand jacket, but these pants did not come that way. Is there an accessory zipper that can be ordered? I want to sew it into my old Alpinestars Jacket, as it is easier to replace the zipper on the jacket than it is on the pants! Jul 28, 2011

Chris K: Unfortunately, Dainese doesn't provide this option for their pants. You would have to have a custom zipper solution tailored to join the two. Aug 5, 2011

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
  • Gloves: Using a flexible measuring tape, measure around your hand, behind the knuckles, not including the thumb.
