Great warm weather riding
What you would expect from Dainese... excellent for purpose. Fairly light weight, mesh, cool and comfortable. Definately for warmer weather. Construction seems solid, good protection on shoulders and elbows. I put a back protector in mine. Two outside & one inside pocket. Bought a size 50 and fits spot on.

Very good product delivers what it promises.
Already had the model Dainese previous 2011/2012.
This product has gotten a little better with the same finish. Was included inside pocket which is very handy and missing in the previous version.
I recommend to buy.

Love this jacket
Was riding around in 55 degrees with a base layer and a cotton long sleeve and the jacket let in the right amount of air to keep my dry and not too cold. I feel like I can ride around with just a wicking base layer starting with mid 60 all the way through the summer.
The 48 fit nice for me at the shoulders.I'm 5'10" 155lbs. I have a longer torso and the jacket does feel short. If I took a spill I can see my lower back getting road rash. 5'10" with a 30 inseam for reference.
Pockets are a bit small, but good enough for a wallet and phone. Or a glove in each.
Bought the back protector insert... waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
Would definitely recommend this jacket!

Yep, izz goood for me
I've had the Jacket for almost 2 months & I have chosen well.
I picked this jacket because i wanted some protection but i didn't want to melt on the many 90°(and higher!) days I get during the summer/fall. Plus the Revzilla YouTube vid helped too.
This jacket w/ Forcefield BP flows more air, more effectively, then my SS mesh jacket does w/o its BP. The armor placement & air flow are also good. Personally I love the cold & I will rock this jacket anytime its over 60° but I'm guessing most people wont want to wear it untill the temps climb into the upper 70's. For cold comparison, my CBR & I commute in temps down to 28° wearing my Lucerne jacket, thermal layer & t-shirt.
It is a mesh jacket & will not give you the same protection as leather but it feels & looks well constructed. The fabrics would be comfortable for as long as you want to ride in it. No itchy seams or pressure points, even with the back protector installed. My only issue is fit but that's more my problem then the manufactures'. I'm not a Euro shape at a short & stocky 5'5" tall, 43" chest,170lbs. It's always an issue for me but I ordered the 54 to compromise between length & chest. It fits me fine & articulates well with the stretch fabric at the back/shoulders. Overall, I'm loving the Dainese Air-3 style, the air flow is what I wanted, but use the size chart.

Perfect for Summer and Early Morning Ride
Perfect for Summer and Early Morning Ride. I live in Long Beach, CA where the sun is always out, but a cool breeze run by the beach this Jacket is perfect. It comes with all the safety gig of a leather jacket, but really comfortable. I have the Racing Leather Jacket and the fit is comparable to the Air-3.

Great air flow, Not much protection
First off this in awesome looking jacket and fits perfect, I am 6' 190lbs and I ordered a 52 and I couldn't ask for a better fit. I like the way it looks and feels on.
Now if you are aware of this before buying it it shouldn't be a problem but the jacket is EXTREMELY thin, you can see through the mesh. Now I understood it was mesh and is designed for great air flow which is does have. So if you are looking for a summer jacket for cruising around town than this may be the jacket for you. It would definitely help protect your elbows and shoulders if you did go down, but if you didn't buy the addition back protector and/or chest protector there is absolutely zero protection. It is like a jersey in those areas.
I have full leather riding gear and usually wear my leather jacket while going to work or any longer rides but I had a Icon Contra jacket that had a giant Suzuki across the front of it and ended up selling that and getting an R1 so I sold that but comparing it to that the Contra had much much more protection in my opinion and I felt like safer in that than I do in this jacket.
Overall I would say if you don't wear anything because it is so hot than this is a great option otherwise I would suggest going with something a little bit heavier duty
