CRG RC2 Brake Lever for Yamaha FJ-09 / FZ-09 / FZ-07 / FZ6 / FZ6R / FZ1 / FZ8

The RC2 is a brand new version of the on-the-fly position adjustable lever, designed for OEM style master cylinders. A worthy successor to the highly successful, race-proven Roll-a-Click lever, the RC2 offers a higher level of refinement and design through details that include a replaceable black delrin lever tip, extensive use of the newest CNC machine surfacing techniques, custom hardware, and precision laser etched graphics. A redesigned miniature "clicker" lever controls a roller cam assembly, giving riders the ability to manipulate lever position while riding. Brake fade and clutch adjustments can be tuned in with ease. Levers can be adjusted for small or large hand sizes. The RC2 levers are available in Standard and "Shorty" (1-1/4" shorter that the Standard) lengths and in 3 anodized colors - Black, Red and Gold.

  • 6061-T6 aluminum CNC machined billet construction
  • Six on-the-fly adjustable positions
  • Standard or shorty lever lengths
  • Scuff resistant, black delrin replaceable tip
  • Integrated black plated CNC machined torx hardware
  • Laser etched graphics

Gotta Love Shorty Levers I purchased the shorty version of these levers in black and they were worth the money. Just comparing these levers to the stock ones shows a huge difference in quality and design appeal. Install was somewhat easy, though I did have to wrestle with it a bit to make it fit perfectly. PRO TIP: Make sure you have some all-purpose grease on hand. Makes the process much easier, and will make the levers move much smoother. I initially tried one lever using the leftover grease from stock levers, and i ended up uninstalling it again and reinstalling it with a hefty amount of all-purpose grease (which it says to do anyway). Trust me don't skip out on that step just because you're out of grease. October 19, 2015
Great Upgrade Easy install and great upgrade. Lever seems to be very high quality and less expensive than some other performance levers. I purchased the shorty lever and it so much easier to use than stock lever. this was a super simple upgrade, even for me. I've only had them a couple of weeks, so can't fully comment on durability. Nice upgrade from stock New rider so I got the standard version. Have not gotten into the habit of using 2-fingered clutch/break, but I did want the adjustable levers to move levers closer. Lever distance on both clutch and break are now very comfortable on the hands. Fit and finish are excellent, did not want to trust 2 of the most important things on a bike that keeps me alive to a cheap(er) ebay knock-off. July 27, 2015
Quality brake levers These brake levers look good, are made well and adjust to my fit. I have both the brake and clutch levers in black, they both feel great and look awesome on my bike. April 30, 2015

A shopper asked: Does the color on the levers start to fade? I have bought a lot of red items for my bike, and after a couple months, the red faded to pinkish. Jun 20, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Craig D: I have the black with the red switch, and have not noticed any change in the color of the red, or black for that matter. My bike is outside 24/7 in all weather, by the way. Seems like you should be good for that worry. Jun 23, 2015
