Best protection in a short cuff glove.
I've owned several short cuff gloves. Including the high end models from Alpinestars, etc. These are still the best I've owned. They offer good protection in areas that other gloves neglect. Like the heel of your palm, and the bottom of your wrist. Areas that most often make first contact with the asphalt. They fit and move well on your hand. The inside of the finger-tips are not lumpy with stitching and material like most other gloves. On the minus side, the air flow is okay, but not as good as a mesh glove. They do get a little sweaty on really hot, humid days. I consider that to be a small price to pay for the protection they offer though. There is one other feature I discovered recently when I pulled up alongside of the car that had just cut me off in traffic. I found that the stainless steel knuckle shield made a very distinctive, attention getting note when I politely tapped on the driver's window to have a word with him about driving safety.

Amazing protection not much ventilation.
These are the best gloves I could imagine getting. Your dollar goes a very long way in this glove. The hard palm plate is confidence inspiring and it doesn't affect comfort ability at all.

I commute every day with these gloves and I never think twice about the comfort ability of them.

On a hot day I switch to a different glove. They don't ventilate well but they aren't really made for that. I use these for riding between 40f and 85f.

Tough looking glove
These are my every day riding gloves. I love the look of them and the comfort is pretty good. I've had many comments about how cool of a glove these are.

Great summer glove.
I commute city/highway 30 miles round trip five days a week and glove works well from 50 F to 90 F so far. It does not ventilate as well as I thought it would, but I don't really notice unless I pay attention for it.
As another reviewer said before, keeping some space between your fingers with them on really helps ventilation.

good protective leather glove
Bought these gloves for sport/touring as a spring time glove. Gloves had plenty of protection and fit well. I wanted a cool weather glove for the Pacific Northwest. I will provide more review after winter is over and can start riding again. Roads too icy now.

seemed great value

I had a pair already, they were very comfortable and I like the amount of protection that they provided. The old pair lasted me about 4 or 5 years and are still in ok condition. The plastic protector around the heel of the wrist cracked after so long. The rest of the glove has held up great otherwise. I'm sure in 5 or so more years I'll be ordering another pair if they are still around.
