First Impression A++++
So far, I love them! I love the styling as well as the protection. I do wish that they had two sliders on the palm, but I'll let that go. Anyways, the first pair I ordered I went by the size chart, and they were too big. The wrist and palm was good, but the fingers were 1/4 of an inch too long, which is crazy because I have long fingers. Nonetheless, Revzilla took great care of my return. My recommendation, buy a size smaller than what the size chart says. I haven't rode in them yet, due to weather conditions, so I can speak for air flow or dexterity. The styling is their though as well as the protection. The stock photos doesn't do them justice. I uploaded some photos to better show the different textures, and padding that the gloves has. Like I said I love them, and I would buy them all over again.

Cortech=Value from a US Company
The Coretech jackets and boots I've had in the past always delivered quality and value, so when my expensive euro A-star gloves started falling apart way early, I found I could get a pair or these for about what the prorated A-star warranty offer (minus shipping on me) was on a replacement. These Coretech gloves breathe well and have the protection I was after for street duty, including the palm slider that can usually only be found on overpriced, funky sized euro stuff. They are true to size and comfortable. Time will tell on durability, and I will update should any issues arise.

If Tony Stark had a bike glove
Bought these gloves because I wanted something with more protection, namely around the wrist area. And they do not disappoint...

Pros: the look is awesome! It's like something off a mech suit, and my Cortech Adrenaline jacket only adds to the look! The feel is snug, almost like a second skin but not as constricting. There is lots of freedom in the wrist with these gloves thanks to the elastic, so the leather won't bunch up when you rev or shift your grip. Wore them for 1000 miles of riding and there's no visible wear or tear on them. Took a rock to the hand while riding and the finger guards did their job. Also comfortable once broken in. Very breathable, so hands didn't get clammy even in the heat. Haven't had a chance to test it in a crash, and hopefully I never will!

Cons: on that last note, make no mistake that this glove will require breaking in. When I first got them the plastic guards on the fingers pressed against my knuckles when riding, and there's not much padding behind them. It was not terribly pleasant, though I would not call it unbearable. Just stick with it and they'll stretch and adapt to your hand. However, the wrist strap is a tad annoying. If you get it snug it can restrict the circulation through your wrist, and yes you will feel it. But too loose and it feels like that strap isn't serving it's purpose. And I do wish that it had twin TPU sliders on the wrist instead of just one on the outside. Why on earth did Cortech do that? It's like someone handing you body armor but half the plating has been swapped out for styrofoam! Why not have two on the wrist and charge a few dollars extra? I would have paid for it, but instead they slapped it onto the Adrenaline II gloves which are not only purebred racing gloves but WAY more expensive! And like the Adrenaline jacket it offers no protection from the cold or water.

In short: if I'm honest, that cons part is nitpicking other than the cold/wet. Beyond that I struggle to find any real problems with this glove. It is, in my opinion, one of the best bang-for-your buck gloves you can buy as a sports rider. It offers greater protection than short gloves for your hand, but it doesn't sacrifice comfort to do it. I highly recommend these for someone looking for a more pragmatic glove but not wanting to empty the bank doing it. Trust me, these are worth it!

Great Glove, Good Price
I bought this glove because some of the other gloves that I was looking at were backordered out past the best months of the riding season (Scarab RR, Scorpion SG3, etc). Very pleased with these gloves for both the street riding and track day riding that I use them for. Double cuff closure is a little cumbersome, but not a deal breaker by any means. Sizing is on par with other companies but the fingers run a little longer than Dainese and Alpinestars gloves that I tried on. The longer fingers on the Cortech's worked out perfect in my case.

Good street glove with solid protection
I've only had these gloves for a week, so will update my review after 6-12 months on protection/durability. I use these primarily for daily commuting on a sport bike, with occasional weekend trips.

I originally purchased the Latigo RR2 in Medium, but they were too tight, so I returned them and decided to get something with more protection. As far as sizing, I previously had the Astar SP-2 gloves in Medium, which lasted me for 3 years (the previous model, circa 2012), and those fit nice and snug after a longer break-in. These Impulse in Large fit really well out of the box (my hands are slender with slightly longer fingers). I've ridden in 90 degree weather already, and the airflow is quite good (better than my old SP-2s), but these most likely will not work well for a lot of people in colder weather. So far, I really like them, and they appear to have better protection than the SP-2s.

Great Glove, buy a larger size than you think
Love the glove, wearing in well.
I've usually worn a medium or large in pretty much everything. I started with the large on these gloves based off of Cortech's sizing chart. I had to return those gloves and get extra large which are still slightly small but have broken in enough to fit. Moral of the story: Buy them, they're great... but buy a size larger than you think you need

Great protective at a Great Price!
My glove size range anywhere from small to medium. I usually go with small because I like a tight fit. I ordered these gloves in small and it was a really tight fit initially. The pinky on left hand was tight and the knuckle protection was kind of digging on my knuckles.

But I figured these are leather and they will break in. So i wore them while riding and even as I watched tv to break them in. Now they fit perfectly! I am glad I didn't send this back for a medium. They are holding up great.

These gloves are great they offer a great bang for the buck. I like the fact that they have palm sliders, knuckle protection and great padded wrist protection. All at a reasonable price! They look awesome too! I wear these with my Dainese Laguna Seca race suit and I look like a gundam pilot.

Fit the bill, very happy
Great product for the dollar. Needed a gauntlet glove for a track day. First time wearing them was at the track and they were comfortable right away. Nice features and level of protection. Strikes a perfect balance between a street and track glove. Also the perf inside of the fingers is surprisingly effective. Would recommend. Would buy again. Zilla service? Do I even need to comment? Always top notch. Please put a brick and mortar store in NYC!

Awesome gloves
I love these gloves. They are full of safety features for a good price and look great. Two small comments. First is the fit. I marked that it fits normal, but that's a compromise. They are actually a little tight at the bottom of your fingers while the fingers themselves are a little long at the end. The tightness will break in after some extended use, so it's not much of a concern, but initially is a slight bit uncomfortable. Second, the upper wrist strap is just a tad small for gripping with a gloved hand. Otherwise, the gauntlet fits great and stays nice and snug. Lots of air flow! Definitely more than other gloves in this same category. Good feel through the palms.

Love the gloves and you will too
I was looking for a glove that offered a lot of protection at a reasonable price. I prefiously had a pair of alpinestars gp pro gloves that I sold to a friend because I wanted something in the color blue. The cortech impulse gloves fit great and true to size with good consistency in finger length, they flow a good amount of air thu the perforated fingers. The knuckle protector is on its own flex panel to allow better motion. These gloves are great they have every thing you need for the price you want and they come in blue....

On the size chart my hand measures 4 inches, should I get the LG or XL ? this is my first glove..
Turki A on Jul 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Glove fits true to size although it will be snug at first. it should fit snug in case of a crash anyway. I wear a large in a work glove and the large fits fine although snug. you don't notice it on the bike though. I had an XL in a previous cortech glove and it fit fine too. a little more loose when I first tried it on.
i wear a size L on alpine smx2, it fits well. should i go with large on these for size up/down?
yuang c on Mar 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi there, I had worn a 2XL before these for Joe rocket gloves, but I went with XL for these and it worked well. So I would suggest checking the size chart first, but I would go one size down otherwise.
I wear a size XL on the Astars SP-8, and that feels JUST A LITTLE BIT bigger, but it's okay. Can anyone tell me which size I should go for with these?
A shopper on Nov 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I wear an XL in a-stars and went with XL for the Impulse RR. The fit is perfect, palm doesn't bunch up and the fingers have enough slack to easily reach for the levers with one or two fingers.
The hi viz looks rather green in the video. I was just wondering is it truly like that, or is that due to the camera or lighting y'all used?
Stitchv on Sep 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It might depend on your monitor, but the gloves definitely have a slight green tint. They are not what I'd call standard yellow. The photo is pretty accurate.
Hope that helps.

BEST ANSWER: Hello...Wish I could help but here is what i can tell you. I usually purchase large gloves and they always feel a little too big. Not much but a little. The RR gloves I purchased in Large and they fit perfectly. So maybe they run a little small in size. Hope that helps!!
What color is the hi-viz? On the picture it looks fluorescent yellow, but on the video it looks more of a fluorescent green. Any idea how the color compares to the hi-viz on the Arai RX-Q helmet, which I would describe as a hi-viz yellow? Thanks!
Chris J on Jun 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: They are much more of a Dayglow green than a yellow color.
