I have these Road Attack 2's on my 05 Busa. I bought these as a replacement to the set of budget freindly Shinko's which came on the bike when I bought it. First let me say on I've riden on many types of tires on my Gixxer 750, but settled on the Michilens Pilots and was headed this way for my busa.
With the weight of the busa and spirited riding, I quickly worn down the Shinko and it almost laid me down a few times, so I decided to try out these Road Attack 2's and I was suprised and happy with the purchase of them. Right out the box, the tires didn't really need the standard scuff and break in of other tires. Continental's "Ready to Ride" process used to remove the tires from their molds gives the tires roughed texture, which reduce the break in or the need to do a burn out or scuff the tires. On the way home from having them installed they felt stable, responsive and gave a good confident feel from day one. The center tread held up with me riding passengers on hot summer days, even it's first week down in Myrtle Beach for Bike week. I have about 5K+ miles on them now and should be able to get another 3K out of them.
I'm online right now looking for another set to get ready for next years riding season. I didn't buy them as a set so the fronts are bald, but the rears have some life left in them. I'd be interested in trying EVO's or the Attack 2GT's if they came in my size.

Great for sport touring and commuting
The new traction skin reduces scrub in time to almost nothing. I go my chicken strips down to 1cm on the way home. I've about 20k miles on the Road Attacks and am happy to get on RA2s. The compound is a little hard when cold, but better when it warms up. The tires start "peaky" to give you more highway miles, and generally end flat in the center. I commute daily and do the occasional 6-7 hour trip out of town and these are great. Stable and long lasting on the highway, and sticky enough in the canyons.

Exelent all weather traction
I ride an 06 zx 14 I'm averaging 8000 km per tire which is about the same as a michilin road pilot 2 but i do prefer the continental over michilins and battle axes it is the best sport touring tire that i have found and im an all weather rider it has exelent cool and wet weather traction and the second best tread life i have found in a sport touring tire and its performance more than makes up for the 1000 less km and it just looks good. I found the Road Attack 2 had better traction in cold temperatures than the original Road Attack.

For a hard less grippy tire this thing didn't last
I only got 5k out of this tire and for a "touring" tire I'd say thats insufficient. My 09 Monster came with BT-016's, first rear lasted 4500 and the second lasted 5k. Thats a "sport bike" tire that has a ton more grip than the Road Attack 2s.
I've had a few instances where the rear broke loose in turns and once where the front did on the Road Attack 2s which is something I never had with the Bridgestones. Fortunately the tires give good feedback for when they are going to let go. It wasn't abrupt or unexpected.
Overall I think this tire doesn't last long enough for the hardness and lack of grip that it provides. Its not a confidence inspiring tire.
