I purchased a BT003RS rear for my WR250X. I put a total of 5000 miles on it and it was completely flat spotted bald in the middle at that point, probably should have been replaced at 4000 miles, all street and light to moderate trail riding (hey, its a motard and I use it as such).
Rain traction was excellent in my experience, even when nearly bald. Dry traction was excellent as well, no issue to run right to the edge of the tire. Cold weather was acceptable provided you gave it time to warm up, otherwise it would slide very easily. Tire did surprisingly well off-road considering its distinct lack of tread so long as it wasn't too sloppy out and you kept a slower pace than you would run with knobs. I wish it had a little more rounded profile to get better wear and slow down its initial lean, but that's a personal preference from running it loaded down on a road trip for the last 2500 miles I used it.
I'd happily run one of these again probably, though I want to try a few other brands and styles before settling. I travel and ride a lot, putting around 15,000 miles a year on my WR250X, so I'll be trying something new pretty frequently.

For the price these tires can not be beat! Just keep in mind, if you are using them on the street. Any aggressive road/track tires warm up quickly which means they cool just as quick. So if you make a pit stop at a store or something, just remember to let them warm up again before cracking the throttle in the lower gears!
Long live RevZilla!

got these as a replacement to the stock tires for the wr250x and have to say they're excellent for the price. i haven't put a lot of miles on them so i can't comment on tread life and wet traction but they heat up quickly and grip nicely.

bikes used - '06 Yamaha YZF R6 ; '08 CBR 600 RR front pressure - cold 29psi ; hot of the track 31 rear pressure -cold 28 ; hot of the track 30/31
haven't used them for street purposes [BT 016 were my choice for that] . the 003RS is a great tire for beginner/ intermediate track day purposes - good feel/ grip/ longevity. [the grips obviously don't match a DOT/ slick "race" tire especially at high temps / very fast pace ]
the front grip / feel is good for my pace. gentle / graded turn-in characteristic but tracks the corner very well [and is confidence inspiring]
the rear grip is also very good [except for very hot days / track temp when it can get slightly greasy] . good edge grip levels / predictable slides.
a front lasts at least 6-7 days depending on the track and the rear lasts 4-5 days. warms up very quickly in a lap or so[ i don't use warmers ]
haven't used it in the wet and so can't comment on it [so I've rated it as middle of the road average]
all in all > excellent tires for the price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Picked up the tire for a weekend of track days on my street bike. Excellent grip and wear so far. Tire warms up nicely, did not use tire warmers.
Great option for sizes that are not so common, 250R race bikes run these pretty much standard tire on race tracks.

Only spent a few hours on the track with these on. It wasn't raining and I didn't break em loose at all so don't put much stock in my rating on tread life, grip levels, or wet traction.

Pros: Incredible lean and grip at angle and good feedback when things begin to go wrong. I've corrected a slide a couple of times on this tire getting more feel from it than from a Michelin 2CT.
Cons: Very short life. I think I did 5 track-days on this tire (no street riding) and the right side on the rear is completely bald - almost to the belt.
Note - the image is after the 1st track day on this tire (you can't guage the short life from this).

Using the tire on a mostly street use supermoto. Tire grips better than stock and feels solid in the corners. Can't comment on tread wear yet as I've only had on for a few hundred miles.
