Bell Revolver Helmet - Rally Black

Convenience meets confidence with Bell’s all-new Revolver modular helmet. By harnessing the design horsepower of the marquee Bell Star and the extensive RandD know-how of Bell’s Santa Cruz, Calif. engineering team, we’ve made a flip-up that’s as beautiful as it is functional.

One look and it’s easy to see the family resemblance—the new school shaping and contours that are the signature of the Star (as well as the value-minded Vortex and new mid-line RS-1) are clearly evident and functional in the Revolver.

Like its siblings, the Revolver features Bell’s Velocity Flow Ventilation system to usher cooling air through the helmet. The system’s use of precisely-placed flow separator combined with its truncated shape make for an inherently stable aerodynamic signature.

The Revolver includes modular-specific features like the integrated internal Sun Shade—a short, dark shield independent of the main shield—which drops down with the flick of a lever to fight bright sunlight. A robust, easy-to-actuate button opens the Revolver’s mechanism allowing the chinbar to flip up. The helmet also uses the world’s quickest, easiest-to-use shield changing system—Bell’s ClickRelease—allowing the option of more than a dozen tints, including the astounding Transitions SOLFX photochromic shield.

Other features include comfy Contour Cut Cheekpads, a removable washable comfort liner, Bell’s Magnefusion strap keeper which replaces the often hard-to-locate strap snap with an elegant magnetic solution that easily engages and secures the strap end.

Can't beat this price for a great starter helmet. It would also serve as a great spare. It has a lot of nice features and does the job well.

I bought this for my 13 yr old who is 5'8" weighs 172 lbs and has a large round head. He loves the helmet and likes that it is a modular type. His only complaint is that the cold air (winter in the central valley of California) comes right up to his chin hand it is extremely cold to him. It's been in the mid 30's when our last couple of early morning rides. Overall he loves it. And I loved the price.

This helmet has features normally only found in much more expensive helmets. the size for fitment is pretty spot on being a hair narrow but not for an oval shaped head by any means. the lever actuated flip down sun shade is a nice touch and normally not available as an option for under 300.00. The modular chin guard is super smooth in operation and solid when locked. the visors 3 positions work excellent and when in vent mode (1/4" opening) it doesn't want to close or move around while in motion. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to install my bluetooth communication system that the helmet is pre-cut for the speakers wire and boom mic. A nice touch and again not normal for a helmet that is this affordable. the helmet is on the quiet side while at speed, I've owned quieter (but not by much) and I've owned much louder helmets. I absolutly love the white racing stripes on the black helmet and am going to stripe the middle of my bike to match it. Over all I am very impressed by this helmet especially at the price I got it for.

As usual, excellent pricing, service and delivery by Revzilla. Helmet (Rally black with white stripes) looks fantastic, fits well, and flip-up feature plus sun visor make it very practical. Certainly no Arai but at this bargain price it's not supposed to be. Tried it out Saturday morning (Sportbike, lean-forward posture, a bit of wind), looking cool and feeling well - that is, until reaching 45MPH when the wind roar became loud. By 50 it was bad, and above that it actually became painful (tried earplugs, didn't work either). So... nice helmet for city/street riding, but if you plan on ever exceeding 50MPH just buy something else, don't even bother (unless you need to be forced to slow down and avoid speeding tickets!). No way this is a sportbike lid - it just doesn't work as such. I'll be happy to keep it for city riding, cruising, and Starbucks raids. For anything else, it's back to my good ol' RF900 or XD helmets.

I really like my Revolver for around town and the quick run to the supermarket. It is pretty bulky, heavy, and loud, but the price is so great that it beats using my Shoei for a quick trip where I want to leave my helmet strapped to my bike while I run in or when I get to the office and just want to toss it on my desk.

I love this helmet! Looks great, great finish on the inside, sun visor 'locks' in place, anti fog visors, good mechanism for both opening the helmet as for the sun visor!

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is very comfortable and Rev was more than happy to swap the first one for a different size, no questions. Helmet is pretty noisy at high speeds but not enough to be a nuisance considering protection, comfort, and the great features it has.

I bought this helmet on sale and with revzilla cash. I got it for $104 bucks. I havn't worn it while riding, but I have tried it on. The only thing I don't like about it is the internal shaded goggles inside the helmet. They seam flemsy to me. However I love the helmet style and fit. I would recommend for the price, no doubt.
