Bell Helmets 3 Snap Bubble Shield
The Spaceman Has Landed
First off, this is one kewl face shield. I first noticed it in the Youtube GoPro video Babes Ride Out. I bought this one, the wayfarer and a yellow version. Very Evel Knievel 70s retro styling. If you are into street, tracker or cafe definitely get it. For the record I don't own a Bell helmet. I have a low profile 3/4, but these work just fine thanks to the adjustable snaps. I think it's a universal fit.
Handling at high speeds was surprisingly good. You do get a little turbulence every now and then but it's infrequent. Air travels downward along my temples and a little up from the bottom. It's not even noticeable at 50mph.
We all look for a compromise between form and function. This shield does both. The silver iridium is a mirrored smoke. Thought there would be more of a rainbow effect, but this isn't the case.
For the price you can't beat it. Seems durable and high quality. No noticeable distortion until you get to the seems along the far edges, but that's not in your field of view. No noticeable fogging either.
Hope this helps. Thanks again Revzilla!

I purchased multiple shields for both my wife and I. We really enjoy riding with them as the styling is really great and protects our face from bugs/debris. We both wear prescription glasses which limits out options in terms of goggles/sunglasses. Besides, the shield has protected my face from some pretty wicked road debris on the highway.

Quality feel, great retro look, optically no issues
Love the metal trim around the substantial thickness of the shield. Tint was just as I hoped it would be. Bought to complement my wife's Bell Q-Ball helmet. It looks great on her.
Best of all is the optical quality of the shield. No wavy lines or distortion.

Does what you would think.
Keeps the wind out of my eyes and the visor off my nose. A+

Retro cool, but not perfect
Not much to say about this. For the price it is worth trying for anyone. The only beef I have with it is it tends to be a little loose, even when snapped, so it rattles. It flows a lot of air, but keeps your face covered. Eyes are still susceptible to dirt, dust and whatever else.

Not for street use??!!
I got the Iridium (mirrored finish). Looks badass on the Bell Custom 500 (my wife's opinion). Originally thinking that the 500 had no room for sunglasses, I needed a smoked or mirrored shield. This looked easy enough to switch out for night riding so I go the Iridium finish. Nice quality and the bubble shape keeps the vision clear. A card falls out of the packaging saying something like "not legal for street use". I dropped that in the recycle bin before my wife saw it. After some experimenting, I have found it is quite possible to get some, not all, sunglasses under the helmet. This allows me the option to use just a visor and night-riding glasses. Riding a Goldwing, wind protection is not a concern, but with your head out in the airstream, this might just fit the bill. Iridium for sun and maybe a clear or yellow for dusk/night riding.

Bubble bubble bubble shield!
Looks badass, no problem attaching to Bell 3/4 helmet.
Slightly unnerving warnings on shield and packaging, e.g "not for road use"
What is it for then?
Would probably still buy again, cant beat that look. Gradient blue is not too dark at top end, just enough.

Great face shield
I have been looking for a good face shield for my Bell Custom 500 for awhile now, and I am glad I found this. I know there are a ton of other "normal" looking face shields out there, but I wanted something different. I found it in this face shield.
