Excellent, Safe 3/4 helmet, Fits narrow head very well
I bought this helmet because I wanted a 3/4 helmet, but could not find one that fit my narrow, but extra large head. This helmet fits me well, and feels extremely safe. Visibility is wide, and exactly what I wanted

My XC Ram under Miami weather
hello everyone,
I have bean riding for 2 weeks now with my new Arai and can only share good things about it.
the fit is right and comfortable, enough space for me to wear a pair of sun glasses and don't even feel them at all.
A good venting system giving you airflow all around the inside of the helmet. thanks Arai it's was hot today !!
the face shield mechanism works perfectly offering you a comfortable wind protection for your ride.
regarding wind noise I don't feel much of a different considering it's a open face. let's be realistic we all hear the wind as some point !! comfortable helmet to carry around town.
the shape of the helmet really wrap you face and make you feel almost you are wearing a full face.
at the end you get what you pay for and it's a Arai,
Me like it !!!

Great helmet , wider view love the openess , yet still feel very safe with it on , great ventalation for those hot days , yet still keeps your head warm and safe on the cold days Washington state weather , just cant go wrong with this hemet

it's great it's an arai
The helemet is well constructed, ventilation system works pretty good, the noise level could be improved a little bit.

Arai pays so much attention to detail. Worth every penny.
This is my second Arai helmet and like the first, I'm very satisfied. I ride a midsize scooter with a windscreen so a lot of the wind is out of my face. At higher speeds, as expected with any open-faced helmet, there's quite a bit of wind noise. I made that conscious decision when purchasing it. I also like the ability to open up the helmet and let my face breath in the warm summer months of the year for ultimate ventilation. This helmet is very comfortable and offers a lot of features. I would definitely recommend this product.

great helmet! The best feature is how aerodynamic it is. On my naked bike I can turn my head with no drag even at 60mph

Buy it if you are looking for comfort
First time in 25 years of riding that I forget I have a helmet on. Except for a small section at brow, I can't see it, the air flow is very good, and very light perceived weight. Inner padding is plush. Glasses fit very well. Yes, it is expensive, but is most definitely increased riding pleasure. Thinking about selling my Shoei multitech and getting Arai full face. A step up.
The only reason I did not give full credit for "durability and protection" is that I can't answer that question yet. I assume, that being an Arai, both qualities will be present.

Killer 3/4 helmet that fits a long oval head shape!
I have a long oval head shape and have been using Arai helmets since 1980. As with my full face Arai helmet, the XC fits great. Arai could make two improvements. 1) make the brow padding a little higher to better fit sunglasses. 2) make 2 or 3 shell sizes. I get the feeling there is only one shell size and the medium helmet that I wear has a very large shell size with thick padding. The XC is a killer helmet with good support at the bottom sides of the shield that totally prevents the shield from shaking in the wind. A J&M headset attached perfectly with plenty of room for speakers.
