Arai Signet-Q UK Flag Helmet (Size LG Only)
Worth Every Penny!
I've owned several brands of helmets and this is the absolute best. The Signet-Q model is designed for riders with long-oval shaped heads and the comfort is outstanding. Very quiet, great airflow and wide field of vision. The brow vents in the face shield flow air right where you need it on hot days. Super lightweight and the Diamond white finish is awesome. Arai helmets may be a little expensive but you get what you pay for in terms of safety and features.

I have finally found a helmet that fits
I am already an Arai customer for life. This is a beautiful, high quality helmet. The details and small design features are great and tells me that this company actually cares if they make a great helmet. The airflow is amazing and is engineered into the helmet, unlike most helmets that just have a holes drilled into them.
TRUST THE SIZE CHART. I was skeptical but I measured and ordered an XL and it fits perfectly. My last helmet is a Schuberth and it is a 3X, so I was expecting to return for a larger helmet. Aria knows what they're doing.
I also have used modulars for 6 years and I have gone back to a solid helmet. No regrets. The modular is overrated for features and adds weight and expense.
Love this helmet.

Made for long oval heads....which no other brand can match. Airflow you can really feel, and on cool mornings you can shut off easily. Not quiet, but with earplugs it is perfect. Comfort? Oh yeah....wear it all day with no issues at all!! Knowing it will protect your brain....PRICELESS!!!

I have purchased it 3 months ago and its great. Its air flow keeps me breathing at high speed and the comfort is amazing. I recomend for small faces and short chin faces.

Been wearing Arai Long Oval helmets for years. Signet Q is the best by far. Like that it comes with a Pinlock lens. Wore a large in my previous Arai Profile but the salesperson in the Revzilla showroom recommended a Medium in the Signet Q. She was right. Snug, but oh so comfortable.
Best part is they flat out work as designed.
Recently crested a rise at about 45 mph and found an 8-inch deep pothole on the other side. Broke a link in the rear suspension and locked up the rear wheel. Skidded for about 40 feet and then fell. Hit my head twice on the road (yellow paint from the center line on the helmet). No headache, no concussion, no nothing. I've always been an ATGATT guy and all of it did its job very well. Bruised but no rash.
Bottom line. Love my Arai.

A coworker and the MSF guide recommended either and Arai or SHOEI. I previously tried the LS2 vantage which is also rated as a long oval however still presented itself with a hot spot on my forehead after 15 minutes of wear. With this helmet, no such hotspot, unfortunately I think I bought a helmet size too large. There is so much customize-able padding inside the helmet that allows you to create more space inside. I'd say when in doubt go a size smaller. The Large still fits snugly on my head by wind (from my naked bike) at speed cause the slightest of wiggling.
After 3 weeks of daily use one of the vents on the visor popped off while I was riding down the Interstate never to be found again. The helmet gets pretty loud at ~60+mph but for sub 55mph speeds I hardly notice.

No Surprises from Arai
Purchased this helmet for my wife. She has had several 'starter' level helmets but with the purchase of her new Ducati Scrambler it was time to move up to something of higher quality.
The quality of components and their fit and finish is consistent with other Arai helmets that I have owned. She is very happy with the fit of the shell, how easy it is to clean the inside, and how quiet is is compared to her previous helmets. She also said she experiences less buffeting and the vents work great!

Long Oval Heads Unite!
I've tried on dozens and dozens of helmets. The Signet Q is the only one that fits my long oval head without pain. Unfortunately, it's darn expensive. Still, since I purchased this helmet I'm riding pain free for the first time in years because it actually fits my head. When helmet shopping, fit is my #1 criterion.
My head is long from front to back and fairly narrow from side to side. By the time most helmets are long enough front-to-back, they're a size or two or three larger than what I need in width and rattle around because of all that extra side space.
Bang for the Buck
The bang for the buck is not good with the Signet Q. But it fits. If I could find another helmet that fit my head comfortably I would buy that presumably cheaper one instead. But I can't.
I don't care about style. I do care about Hi-Viz.
The Signet Q is the only helmet I've found with a long oval shape that will fit my head pain-free. If you have a long oval head, try the Signet Q. It's longer than every other helmet I've tried. Both of my brothers agree.
Protection & Durability
No idea about protection. Durability is adequate so far. There is a a soft fleece-like covering that surrounds the helmet strap on the left and the right side of the helmet. On one side, that soft covering has broken loose from its anchor (on the inner side of the helmet) leaving it to roam freely up and down the strap. Every few rides I stuff it back into place, but I cannot re-anchor it. I may eventually sew it in place.
Outstanding. My brother owns the same helmet. He wears his visor down all the time, even in extreme heat, because he feels the Signet Q flows air so well. I agree that with the visor down it flows significant air, especially across the top of the head.
It's an Arai. There are no features. I wish there were.
Long oval. Longest I've found, with enough room for my ample forehead.
It's about average, I think. I wear earplugs when I ride so it's mostly irrelevant to me. But any helmet that flows significant air will be louder than those that don't.
I have no idea.
Have I mentioned it's a long oval fit?
Vision is excellent. It has a wide field of view compared to my other helmets.
Went to a big motorcycle show. The Arai rep looked at my head, touched my head briefly with the thumb and forefinger of each hand, and told me the exact circumference of my head (I've measured it) and which Arai model would fit me comfortably. In an effort to save money I purchased three other helmets before I finally purchased the Signet Q. And the Arai rep was 100% correct.
