Softand flexible but seems strong too.
I was expecting a soft jacket that would feel more like a store bought than a motorcycle jacket, and that the leather would seem flimsy.
Not at all. The leather feels as strong as my leather REV'IT jacket, but somewhat softer. It wasn't at all as thin as I feared. The stretch panels just makes it sit very snugly on the body.
I admit - it does feel quite tight when brand new! I haven't worn it on the bike yet - but I have been told it breaks in a bit, so I think I got the right size. I am 5'9 and 136 lbs. 34C bra size, bust: 34", waist: 27,6" hip: 38"
I'm getting the pants too, but alas, I think my butt is too big for a size 40 :-#
If you're very #like > 5'10# tall the sleeves on a size 40 might be a bit short. They are just long enough for me.
I really recommend wearing it with a back protector! I'm getting the bio armour insert, since my normal fat level2 protector wouldn't fit underneath. With a back protector I'm pretty sure it is just as protective as most other jackets.
Overall, it seems more sturdy than first feared. From the reviews around the internet you get the impression that it's spiderweb thin and not very protective. I do not agree.
I wouldn't use it on the track though.

I love this jacket
The jacket fits well and moves well with your body. Very comfortable and insulated. I didn't feel much wind on a chilly day ride.

Worth the money
I love this jacket. I was apprehensive about the European size conversion but this jacket couldn't fit me anymore perfectly. I'm 5'4", 112lbs, and 34B bra size. The size 40 jacket fits as if it's tailor-made. If you have a bigger chest, it might fit a bit too tightly for you.
The length is great with the back a little longer to hide that area above your butt that always seems to peek out.
It is more style than substance so don't expect ultra protection. There is no back plate. The cut is a streamlined, slim fit which I love.

Mainly a fashion jacket
This jacket is more of a fashion statement for the occasional scooter ride rather than for serious riding due to the very thin and soft leather. True, it's better than no protection at all but it is really not a motorcycle jacket.

Love the jacket
The leather on this jacket is truly butter-soft. It fits snug–I'm an athletic 5'7, 130 lbs, 36" bust, 26" waist, and the 42 fits the way it should. As far as protection goes, It's significantly less than the Alpinestars Tyla or Six-Three jackets, but the Vika is a lot sexier! I love the high collar, too.
