Great waterproof winter Jacket! I ride in Oregon in the morning when the temperature is roughly 35 degrees and often raining. The collar keeps my neck warm and the jacket does a great job keeping me dry and warm. Its a really light thin jacket, which was surprising how warm it kept me. I have yet to ride in the summer in this jacket, so i can't say whether is good for warm weather quite yet. The Sleeves are a bit short for me, but i have extremely long arms, so as long as i have long cuff gloves on, it works just fine. The zipper on the sleeves is also very nice because it fits snug around my wrist. The length is also a bit shorter than i like, but as like before i have a long torso. This jacket does fit and look like a normal jacket. I could wear this pretty much anywhere and not be uncomfortable. I'm 6'2 140LB and i fit in a medium. I called in to ask a few question about it and spoke to Drew, he was extremely helpful and more then willing to do whatever he could to match me up in the right Jacket. His knowledge on the products was spectacular and his recommendations were spot on to what i was looking for. He even went the extra mile to send me a personal letter making sure i enjoyed my products and even remembered our entire conversation about what bike i had (he did have the same bike though). I highly recommend this Jacket and Revzilla, I don't think i will shop anywhere else, purely on the customer service i received. April 11, 2014
Nice casual look, feels solid This is only a fit review. I just got the jacket exchanged for the XXL from XL (I usually wear XL US size jackets). I am 6'2" 220 lbs and XXL with liner and additional back and chest protectors feels a bit tight, but still OK. Without liner it is slim, but comfortable, just how I like it, but I still have a little extra space for layering. March 12, 2014
good jacket does its job well i like this jacket but if you want to have the bio armor in buy a size larger than you normally would it is a great commuting jackets and is nice and warm on cold nights if you buy this product you will be happy with it September 2, 2013
Short sleeves. I have a short torso, long legs/arms. I ordered a small. It fits great in the chest, but the arms are a good 2 inches too short. I ordered a pair of gauntlet gloves hoping they would be long enough to cover the jacket. It's that perfect annoying length where they just butt up against each other. It's not worth it for me to return for a medium to sleeves that are probably still too short, and then a chest that doesn't fit. It has all the pockets you could ever want. This definitely could pass as a regular jacket if it wasn't for the armor. With just the shoulder armor in it looks like a moto jacket. August 7, 2013
Steezy Jacket Definitely a chill jacket if you mostly commute and hang around town. Got this because of its low-key-ness as it provides protection while looking like a normal jacket. Haven't fallen in it but the material feels strong and the elbow and shoulder pads that it comes with feel like they will hold up. Airflow is on the lower end, even with the liner removed. I have been riding it this summer in 80F with some sweating. Max temp you could ride is 85F, anything over that you're gonna soak it in sweat. Probably not the comfiest in hot weather but you can get use to it if money is tight and can only buy 1 jacket for now. This jacket is gonna be very nice this Fall/Winter. July 18, 2013
Excellent jacket for the money I have worn this jacket for a few months while commuting in the South Carolina "winter" on my Shadow 750. This means temps in the 40s and 50s, for which this jacket is ideal. It does a fantastic job of blocking the wind and keeping you warm. I especially like the high collar which zips up snug around your neck. Pockets and features and whatnot are normal for this style jacket and overall construction seems to be high quality. I am 5'9", 165 lbs and a large fits me well with enough extra room for a sweater. Negatives: -It is not cut perfectly for a motorcycle riding position, so the front bunches some. This is pretty minor and I suspect that it is designed that way for off-bike wear. - It is black so it will heat up quick in the sun and is of no use to improving visibility. March 6, 2013
Great jacket for a low key look Awesome jacket for all four seasons and great customer service from revzilla! March 4, 2013
Great protection, great design When I first got this jacket, I was impressed with the styling. It looks great as a go-anywhere jacket. Even if I'm not riding, I've started wearing this jacket just because it's a good looking jacket. I've only owned it in cold-weather so far, and I have ridden it in the rain once. Wearing this jacket in the cold is very nice, it blocks all the wind and the cold. I have to double up on layers for my pants because my legs start going numb but my entire upper body as well as neck are totally warm. In the rain, other than my jeans and shoes, which are completely miserably soaked, my body is totally dry. Very waterproof!! As to the armor and protection. I've laid down twice in the jacket and both times, been completely fine. The first time, my bike skidded out from a patch of gravel at probably 20 mph and I felt fine. The second time, making a long turn at about 50, a little ricer coming the other way took the turn way too fast and was in the middle of my lane. I was forced to swerve left and brake hard to not go into the forest and my bike ended up throwing me over the handlebars and rolling over me. I got up 100% ok with not a single bruise, with the wind hardly knocked out of me. After both of these incidents, the jacket still looks brand new with no marking on the fabric. I will never buy a jacket that is not alpine stars again because I am so impressed with how well this protected me. March 2, 2013

RevZilla: If your Alpinestars Verona WP Jacket is a size large, you should get a size medium for the Alpinestars Bio Armor Back Protector. Jul 17, 2012

A shopper asked: I have an A* T-GP Plus Air that's a Medium and it fits me pretty good with all armor in (including back protector) but the sleeves are a little long. I'm a 39" chest. I want to put my bio-armor back protector in this jacket if I buy it. Will I have enough room without having to go up a size? I'm afraid the sleeves would be too long if I did that. Oct 22, 2013
