very good but are better for the price
I am a large in american cut so I ordered an XL, when it arrived it was very difficult to get on and was kinda tight around the wrist. thankfully I ordered through revzilla and exchanging for a XXL was easy. still a tad bit hard to put on but it fits well when it is on. It offers a lot of protection, flows massive amounts of air and looks even better. My main problem with it are that the seams are inside the glove (I'll admit that it adds to the looks like this) which bother if you like to wear your gloves tight and I could see how they would bother on very long rides. Outside of that they are very good gloves but I feel like you can get a better glove (may not look as good though) for about the same price.

overall not bad
great looking glove. carbon is slick.
after 200 miles of normal use the index fingers are showing some loose threads and fraying. after burning these down i haven't had more problems. suede/clarino on thumbs and palms rubbing off a bit, but i think is just the nature of the break-in process for the material.
about 400 miles on these gloves so far.

Fair Price
Great fitting gloves after you break them in. Have not had any problems like the ones I have read about in other reviews

Started falling apart on the first day
I do not recommend this glove at all.
*Before I start I will mention that these gloves were used in normal riding conditions in fair weather only and never got wet.
- My first day out with these gloves I noticed an unusual amount of wear and pilling on the palms.
- A few more times out and the mesh on the backs of the fingers started to unravel and stick out like cobwebby hair strands.
- About 1,500km of riding in, the velcro wrist strap came apart as it is glued not stitched.
I ended up sticking with these gloves for a total of 4,000km before I had enough.
- I kept trimming the woven mesh that was coming undone but I'm sure if I were to ride another 4,000km you would soon be able to see my fingers.
- The synthetic sued palms continued to wear heavily and now feel very thin in areas.
- The wrist straps now get in the way of my jacket since they stick straight up.
I have used multiple pairs of gloves from Alpinestars GP line and have had great experiences. The GP line are excellent quality, real leather, and incorporate sliders into the design. I shouldn't have bought this cheap synthetic pair. Really not sure what I was thinking because even if these gloves did stand up to normal use they definitely would not provide much protection in a crash.
If you like to have a short cuff glove for street riding then I would recommend the Alpinestars GPX glove. In my opinion their GP line of gloves is still the best out there and the GPX appears to do a good job of incorporating many of the safety features from the full gauntlet GP gloves into a short cuff glove.
**I did however just get off the phone with Alpinestars warranty support and they are going to replace my Thunder gloves with the GPX. This was my first time dealing with Alpinestars aftersales and I am definitely very impressed.

Great Glove for the money
This glove runs smaller than expected, but seems to be breaking in nicely. I generally wear an XL size glove and am glad I ordered the XXL. Has decent protection and will report back on the overall durability, but seems good. All in all, a great glove for the price.

Good glove. Great service.
I had to exchange these gloves because the wrist strap had separated. RevZilla's customer service was outstanding as always. These gloves are pretty snug when brand new. Once they're broken in they fit great! They do run small like most alpinestars gear so size up.

Looks good.
To small!
My hand width is 3.5" and I ordered large ( 4 1/8 ) I should have gotten extra large.
My middle finger from knuckle to tip is 4" and it's a tad to short.
Finish .... what the bell are the seamstresses smoking? not a single finger is identical.
Will end up giving them t to my daughter.
Ventilation ... what ventilation.
Dont buy them. Find a better product where they respect the sizes and the finish is worth 80$
