So far so good...
These gloves are very comfortable for commuting; I haven't had a chance to take them on an extended ride yet so I can't comment on long duration comfort. The air flow through these gloves is excellent; on colder mornings you might want to choose a different pair of gloves. As noted in several other posts, the gloves are a bit tight so wearing a pair of liners underneath is not possible. The fingers are a bit long for me (I have short fingers) so there is a small amount of extra room at the fingertips; not a major problem. Overall I am really happy with these gloves and would recommend them for warm weather riding.

Gloves are cool and offer good protection, but long term durability I think is poor, and comfort isn't great.
Let me start off by qualifying this review. I have been riding for two weeks with some previous dirtbike/atv experience.
I have about 300 miles on these gloves in two weeks, and decided this afternoon to give them a bad review. That was until I examined them after I high-sided an hour ago.
-Style speaks for itself. These gloves are sweet looking.
-Great air flow. My hands were cold riding 30-60mph at ~60F.
-Comfort is poor. Pinky was considerably too long, and the outside portion of the palm (by the sliders) bunched up while riding.
-Protection is good: Highside was maybe 40mph, no broken bones, just a bit of road rash on the inner side on the bottom of my wrist. The sliders did what they were supposed to.
DURABILITY: Average to poor. After two weeks the extra grip on the finger tips was coming off, the mesh on the top half of the fingers was starting to fray as well.
As for crash related durability, left glove wore through at the base of the thumb where the leather met the mesh, would like to see the leather come up another fraction of an inch.
The leather performed great though.
-Features: Lots of sliders (knuckles, middle knuckle on each finger, outside of palm), but no inner palm slider or wrist bone slider. However the padding on the outer wrist is foam with leather, and feels substantial.
However the comfort and the long-term durability really detract from these gloves. When I spend nearly $100 on gloves I expect them to last a little while.
I recommend these if you can deal with those factors. If they are important to you though, don't buy them. I probably wouldn't buy them again.
*NOTE* the road rash is not from the hole, it is from the glove itself I think. Very minor.

Alpinestars product line gets better every year.
I have quite a few pairs of Alpinestar gloves (per season), and I love them all! That being said, this review is based on the subject of “customer service.” There are only three in-store or online motorcycle companies that come to mind when I think about dependable customer service with respect to genuine product knowledge and immediate distribution. RevZilla is one of the three.
Prior to ordering my second pair of Alpinestars SP-X Gloves, I inquired about a number of riding gear brands that they have advertised on the website (from boots to suits). The staff was patient and answered all my NOVICE questions. This is/was my first experience with Revzilla and definitely not my last given the fact that the service provided (along with the extremely fast “ground” shipping) was beyond exceptional.
On a side note, I wish the company provided a broader spectrum of performance parts for purchase - chains, sprockets, brake systems, etc.
YOU’RE AWESOME REVZILLA!

feel the bike through the gloves!
These gloves are really well made. comfortable, and bring a lot of air flow. They do fit snug though just like they say in the video. For me they are narrow, but good in length. The material that the palms and finger are made of allow you to really feel your controls very well, at least better than other gloves that I have had.
If you thought these were going to be good for colder weather, your wrong. They provide so much air flow, you can literally feel the breeze coming through the vents.
The only thing that I don't like about them, is that the cuffs make it hard to allow my icon mesh jacket sleeves to zip closed over them, and the cuffs aren't big enough to go over the jacket.
I got the all black ones, they look great and feel great, so get 'em!

Awesome gloves
Honestly, everything the video says is true. Fit a little tight compared to other gloves but I went with same glove size and am happy. Quality is awesome! Comfortable, breathable. i wouldn't wear these in winter if you are riding close to freezing, cos they do breathe.
Everything is awesome, great protection without being a full gauntlet,

Amazing bang for the buck gloves!
My first pair of gloves for motorcycle riding! Definitely worth it. I feel protected when I wear these. They also look very stylish. The only cons are that it fits a bit small and the wrist adjuster is really short so I can't wrap it around my jacket cuffs cause it won't reach far enough. I have to wear it under my jacket. Lots of features for the price tag.

a bit tight at first
just as Anthony said in his videos, these gloves will be a bit small. but they do wear in and expands slightly after usage. my hands are a bit stubby, so i find that there are some gaps at the end of each finger, but fits perfectly everywhere else.
for the price, can't beat that. only thing is there is no way to clean. after a while, the white parts will get dirty quick. if only the palms are all black, this would've been perfect.
