Alpinestars SP-2 Gloves
Over all nice gloves
Nice gloves...the only problem I have is the small finger has some guard on it that really bothers my finger on the left hand only...I have tried everything to make it comfortable...but nothing has worked...It is OK for an hour or so anything more than that I have to remove the glove to give my finger a break

good, but not great
This is my second pair of A-stars gloves and i dont know if i will be going back to them. the only reason i bought them is i got them on closeout for about $50. In my opinion they are not worth spending more than that. Biggest complaint is that after 1 month the stiching is starting to fray. Other issue is there is no wrist strap to hold the glove tight to your hand, only the forearm strap. I worry most about the long term durability of these. But brand new they are very comfy and warm.

I wanted some gauntlet gloves with a bit of protection over the knuckles. I made sure to order a size larger than I normally do, as Aplinestar gloves run pretty small.
These gloves are comfy, and have decent enough airflow for temps hitting the 80s. No complaints really. Just solid, affordable gloves that feel like they would provide protection if I needed it.

Great gloves for Track day use
The gloves fit well, and gave me the flexibility for active use, but I would suggest wearing them for a while to stretch out to fit well, also the Velcro clasp at wrist is not big enough and tends to open while ridding hard. But great gloves for cost.

Stay comfortable and protected!
I got the original SP-2 when it came out, i had them for about 2 years, and in a tragic sudden downpour, they were soaked, inside and out. I did all i could but they were laid to rest, and thanked for their service. I looked high and low for a glove that could be better, sharper control and more comfort, but nothing could compare. So i decided, if it isnt broke, dont fix it. I grabbed another pair, and now after another year of great service they are the best gloves ive had. The level of control is amazing, the suede in the palm makes you like spiderman to your grips, and the exposed carbon looks sweet too. Entrust that you will love these gloves, all day, everyday.

Great protection at a great price
I needed a glove to better protect my hands than my short cuff gloves so I bought these. Price was phenomenal for what I'm getting. The gloves needed to break in but once it is broken in, it fits fine. I do wish that it had an additional strap for my wrists. As far as feel goes, it is more difficult to feel my grip and controls since it is a thicker glove than my short cuff mesh gloves but overall, it's a great glove for a great price.

I purchased these gloves for daily wear/commuting and touring. My reasons for purchasing these gloves were (in no particular order): Protection, comfort, style, and value.
Comfort: I have worn the gloves in temperatures varying from 40 – 85 degrees Fahrenheit and they are extremely comfortable. Starting at about 80 degrees Fahrenheit my hands get a little bit warm, but I do have a set of hand guards on my motorcycle that reduce air flow. Below 45 degrees Fahrenheit, I switch to my cold weather gloves.
Sizing: I purchased size medium since I normally wear numeric size 9-10, depending upon the manufacturer. The gloves were a bit tight initially, but broke in easily with regular wear and now fit perfectly.
I would recommend these gloves.

Great street gloves
These gloves are really nice. I was looking for something for the street, and these were what I decided on. They offer great protection while still offering good airflow and are lightweight. Unlike many on here, I found the sizing right on. I normally wear a XL and the XL fit perfect. I'd buy another pair.
