Great glove Love these gloves. I wear a lg in most gloves and ordered xlg in these and the fit is perfect. Very comfortable glove, air flow is nice. Don't see a problem wearing these in the summer, even in Louisiana. I see good protection with these gloves with the kevlar in the palm and all the extra padding they provide. Would purchase again. Great glove for the price!!!!! May 20, 2013
Great summer glove I've had these for over a year now and they are still going strong. Fantastic air flow. Just the right amount of protection with Kevlar in the palm, which was a big selling point for me. They do run about a half a size small. I ignored this and got my usual medium glove size because I have small hands anyway. They ended up being just OKAY in the fit. Small to start out with and stretched a LITTLE as the season went on. They're tolerable now with the only problem area being the thumb. If I don't adjust after a while the thumb gets sore from being too tight and pushing on the seam. But obviously that's my own fault. Awesome gloves! Highly recommend! May 6, 2013
Great fit but not meant for below 50 degrees Great fit and not too flashy. I won't recommend using them on cold mornings under 50 degrees. April 29, 2013
Excellent Gloves As others have said, these gloves run small, so get at least one size larger than you normally would. These gloves are very comfortable right out of the box, and provide insane amounts of airflow. There is a decent amount of protection, but these aren't race gloves, and aren't intended to be, especially at this price point. I would have liked to have seen some carbon fiber knuckles or Knox palm sliders. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with these gloves. So long as they are as durable as A* tends to be, I'll be happy. Great Product These gloves look great and feel very comfortable. They're not to bulky but offer a moderate amount of protection. I'm an average 6'1" 205 lb guy and I wear an XL. After searching a while for gloves I couldnt beat the style, comfort and protection of this pair for the price. March 23, 2013
Overall good glove Good glove for good price, I'm happy. I would suggest getting one size bigger. March 18, 2013
Great features but unfortunately it is a tad tight for my hand Nothing to complain about, could have gotten a size bigger, else great alpinestar product from Revzilla. February 25, 2013
Nice first riding gloves! My hands are a mid-term between S and M sizes... I chose the M ones and it's quiet hard to put them on for the first week. I believe it'll get more confortable in a short period of time. The air flow is great considering the weather and high temperatures here in Brazil. Happy with the product! February 17, 2013

I measured my hand at 3 1/2 inches. The size chart says this is a Medium. However, the video talks about the gloves running "bigger." Should I follow the size chart and get a M or do a L?

Answer:
According to your measurements, you should follow the size chart as you fall right in the size range. The Medium would be the appropriate size.

Answer:
You probably need to go BIGGER than the size chart says. I was measured in the small range and that was significantly off. I now have a Medium. I even have short fingers! Also, they've gotta fit so that the carbon piece is entirely on your backhard not vainly trying to curve around your knuckles because it's too short.

Answer:
These gloves definitely do not run bigger but actually smaller than most gloves. If you normally wear a L than I would recommend ordering an XL. The material used in these gloves also does not breakin much so fit is important.

Go large, I think you'd regret it otherwise.
We have the same width in hand, I tried both sizes and wend with the large, you'll see, it still will be snug.

Answer:
My hand measurements put me in a medium. Whenever I have bought leather gloves for everyday winter use I have bought mediums. These gloves fit true to size for me. I would say my finger length is average to a little below average.

Answer:
There is thick stitching on the inside of these gloves but I personally did not experience any discomfort due to them. As a matter of fact while gripping your bars you will probably not even notice them. These gloves do breathe quite well but they are not completely mesh so they will definitely handle slightly cooler days.

Answer:
The inside is slightly thicker, but there is no Kevlar in the fingers, so it wont compromise the ability to use them. The Kevlar is not itchy at all, just feels like normal cotton or polyester.
It's a pretty well vented glove, I'd say more a three season glove, or a "summer plus".
There are more vented gloves out there, but I don't think I'll have any problem with heat in these gloves in the summer, as for the cold, I'd at least put a liner under 10° Celsius.

Answer:
Feels thicker than the normal glove - which may or not be a problem depending on how you feel about extra material rippled between your palm and your grips.

Answer:
No, you cannot feel the Kevlar from the inside of the glove. It is sandwiched between the leather palm and the outer riveted patch. The inside palm is one piece of plain Kangaroo leather and the inside back is soft textile.

Air flow is, well, what you would expect from a full leather glove. It's fine. I wear them all summer in Central Illinois.
