Great buy for the price. Needed new warm weather gloves as the old standbys had warn out in the thumbs. Watched the online demo and I'm glad I did as my normal US gloves is a medium. Believe it when the experts say go a size larger. Pulled them on and did a 200 mile round trip to camp, cool morning on the way up, hot afternoon coming back. Hands were comfortable both ways. Palm material didn't bunch up or crease and cause hot spots. Like the little grab loop on the cuff as it keeps stuff from rolling under when you pull them on. Backs were stretchy and snug but noticed something odd about this pair. Not sure if its european fit but the thumbs felt short and the little finger long. The former worked out by the end of the return trip and the latter should never be an issue. These may not be real "speed racer" gloves and I hope never to test their durability in a worst case scenario so they will be just the thing for cool to hot weather riding. Going to do like Dad taught me and leave them in the helmet so they are right there to wear. An added plus is they go rigght smartly with the olympia summmer riding jacket. Another good purchase from Revzilla. September 6, 2015
Great pair of gloves for the price! Not a whole lot to say about these. Great fit, great look, great price. Don't order these expecting to be blown away, but they will definitely meet your expectations on all fronts. August 24, 2015
OK Glove For The Money Like the title says, it's ok for the money. Alpinestars run small so I ordered the XL & it was still a little tight. Thinking it will break in after some longer wear. Hands stay cool in the heat, its been in the 90's here in Seattle. As far as protection goes. Hope I never have to find out. August 5, 2015
Great Glove The glove fits good and offers good protection. Was looking for a glove that gets more air flow than the Alpinestar MX2 and this glove delivered. July 6, 2015
Excellent summer gloves I'm tired of riding hot during summer, so I'm getting all mesh gear -- jacket, pants, and gloves. This glove fits the bill just right. I usually wear Medium/Large gloves, so based on Revzilla's comment, I went with Large. It fits me just fine. My hand measures 9" circumference around the palm. June 2, 2015
great glove for the summer I live in Portland, Oregon and it is roughly 45~55 degrees here in April. I mainly use this glove for commute. Quality of this glove is great, not too bulky, but got enough protection. Leather, mesh, textile, and a little carbon fiber, it literally has everything. However, it allows way too much air through at night. My fingertips are frozen to death even when it's only 45 degrees outside riding about 45 mph. Great glove for the summer or hot days, def not something for the fall/winter, unless you live in California or Texas. April 6, 2015
Good gloves I had these gloves for about two years and then I slid my bike down going 40-50mph to avoid rear ending a car that slammed on their brakes. Had road rash on my arms and knees back and stuff because I wasn't wearing a jacket that day... But these gloves only got tore up a little and I didn't have one scratch on my hands. For the price, they did a very good job to me. And now I have an excuse to buy a fresh set of gloves :). But anyway..they were a little tight when I bought them but I knew that the leather just needed to stretch out a little. And they did. I like the style They are comfortable The inside hands clothy part eventually started to wear a little but I kinda expected from having them on the hand grips and stuff all the time and it and it didn't cause a problem Air flow is good, the hot days didn't make my hands sweat while wearing these. But don't expect them to be warm when it's chilly lol. March 2, 2015

A shopper asked: I measured my hand at 3 1/2 inches. The size chart says this is a Medium. However, the video talks about the gloves running "bigger." Should I follow the size chart and get a M or do a L? Apr 10, 2012

Cereal: You probably need to go BIGGER than the size chart says. I was measured in the small range and that was significantly off. I now have a Medium. I even have short fingers! Also, they've gotta fit so that the carbon piece is entirely on your backhard not vainly trying to curve around your knuckles because it's too short. Jun 25, 2012

Jake T: These gloves definitely do not run bigger but actually smaller than most gloves. If you normally wear a L than I would recommend ordering an XL. The material used in these gloves also does not breakin much so fit is important. May 20, 2012

Nikace: Go large, I think you'd regret it otherwise.
We have the same width in hand, I tried both sizes and wend with the large, you'll see, it still will be snug.

RevZilla: According to your measurements, you should follow the size chart as you fall right in the size range. The Medium would be the appropriate size. Apr 12, 2012

Dustin G: You'll want a size larger than normal, so if the chart says go with an M, you should go with at least an L. May 28, 2013

RiseUp: I would recommend going with the larger size. Jul 24, 2012

SB35: I found that the gloves run small, not big. Jun 25, 2012

Drew D: My hand measurements put me in a medium. Whenever I have bought leather gloves for everyday winter use I have bought mediums. These gloves fit true to size for me. I would say my finger length is average to a little below average. Apr 14, 2012

A shopper asked: Does the glove feel thicker and/or scratchy on the inside as a result of the kevlar?
How is the air flow, we talking an all season or summer only glove?
Mar 18, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Nikace: The inside is slightly thicker, but there is no Kevlar in the fingers, so it wont compromise the ability to use them. The Kevlar is not itchy at all, just feels like normal cotton or polyester.
It's a pretty well vented glove, I'd say more a three season glove, or a "summer plus".
There are more vented gloves out there, but I don't think I'll have any problem with heat in these gloves in the summer, as for the cold, I'd at least put a liner under 10¬? Celsius.

thehomealien: No, you cannot feel the Kevlar from the inside of the glove. It is sandwiched between the leather palm and the outer riveted patch. The inside palm is one piece of plain Kangaroo leather and the inside back is soft textile.

Air flow is, well, what you would expect from a full leather glove. It's fine. I wear them all summer in Central Illinois.

Jake T: There is thick stitching on the inside of these gloves but I personally did not experience any discomfort due to them. As a matter of fact while gripping your bars you will probably not even notice them. These gloves do breathe quite well but they are not completely mesh so they will definitely handle slightly cooler days. May 20, 2012

cheetahBLASTER: Feels thicker than the normal glove - which may or not be a problem depending on how you feel about extra material rippled between your palm and your grips. Mar 22, 2012

Drew D: Ton of air flow. The Palm is not scratchy but the hem on the tip of the thumb is a bit big and can be annoying depending on your thumb length. Sep 14, 2013

SB35: My gloves a little small for me, and I find them a little scratchy - especially around the knuckle area. Jun 25, 2012

EasyE72: The glove is very comfortable. I haven't been bothered by the material or stitching one bit. Mar 23, 2013

gtrpicker1: Inside feels like soft cotton or leather, feels great. May 23, 2012

A shopper asked: Does this glove have actual leather on it, or is it 100% synthetic? Jul 14, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Steve H: Yes, these gloves have quite a bit of leather. The palm and inside of hand is all leather, as well as across the knuckles, on the tops of finger tips, and the soft base of thumb. Aug 2, 2015
