Alpinestars Roam WP Boots
I have been using this boots for over two months and ridden over 2000 miles and they are really great! love the style and comfort. They are not even showing any sign of wear/tear, that means durability .

Very comfortable, easy on and off.
I love these boots. I just road a 1000 miles in 4 days and they were comfortable all day long. Fits well under regular jeans, easy on and off with the velcro. No problem walking around in them for a while after a long day of riding. A good balance between support/protection and comfort.

Nice boots even for guys on a Harley...
I purchased the lower version of this boot last year and saw the higher pair on sale so I decided to snap them up while I can. While the boots may appear to be stiff out of the box, after a couple of wearings the leather becomes quite comfortable and the hard rubber sole becomes soft enough to wear around all day. While the boots are lined, you may have warm feet but with the easy on and off velcro closures you can take these off and back on in no time so that you can cool your feet off. They are light weight and smart looking enough that you can wear them with a pair of jeans on casual Fridays at work which is what I plan to do. I appreciate the workmanship and quality of these boots but most of all like the added shin protection provided by the higher shaft of the boot. Get a pair while you can. You won't regret it... even for us guys on a Harley.

Good boots but these sizes are crazy
I don't know what's up with the size chart on these boots. People are saying they run small, so I ordered a size up. The size chart states that EUR size 44 = US size 11. I wear US 10, so that's what I ordered. What I received is a boot that says "EUR 44, US 9.5" ... Not US 11 like I was expecting. Um, ok. Very tight on me but not so tight I couldn't ride. I had my fiancee try them on and they fit her so I figured I would order a bigger pair and keep both. Size chart says EUR 46 = US 12.5. Except what I received is a boot that says "EUR 46, US 11.5" ... Um excuse me? That's quite a jump from 9.5. Let me explain that what I feel on my actual foot is NOT a full two-size increase in the boot. So whoever is making these boots does not know how to label the sizes. Not only is the size chart on the site wrong, the sizes on the actual boots are not consistent. I uploaded a photo of the two tags to show what I'm talking about.
Other than that issue, I would love to see better shin protection, but for an inexpensive boot these seem like a great start. I think they need to be broken in as they are somewhat stiff.
Also keep in mind the shin area is wide to allow for tucking in your pant leg.

Comfortable, Durable, Great Boots!
I wanted a pair of new boots for replacement purposes. These fit the bill really well. I was hesitant at first, but when I first put them on I knew these were going to be great. I have been riding with them for 3 months now and am just as pleased. I put on my old boots again the other day to ride and had to take them right back off and put the new ones back on. They are worth the money! Do it! Go!

Good first pair of riding boots
These are my first pair of riding boots. Got caught in a gnarly rainstorm in Northern VA on my cruiser and decided to invest in a pair.
The look on these are pretty nice; but they are definitely made for comfort and aesthetics. They are a bit clunky and the toe box is pretty big. It makes for a very comfortable fit; but I had trouble getting my foot between the peg and the shifter which made it more difficult to operate the bike in the city. Most times I couldn't work enough of my foot in to get the shift pad under the shifter and have scuffed up the toe pretty good.
The boots are roomy, true to size, and comfortable for longer hauls. I would have liked them to breathe more; but they are not Goretex and you feet will know the difference in hot weather. I have a pretty avg. calf size and found myself synching these pretty tight to get a good fit (good news for guys with big calves).
all in all a good boot...

Looks like a good boot, but runs smaller than Euro sizing #
I've got a pair of BMW short boots that are size 45 and they have a tiny bit of extra room. I typically wear a 44. So I ordered the 45 and they were too small. They are narrow and squeeze your toes together. If they had been a little wider I may not have returned them.
NOTE: Inside the boot it says US 10.5. This should be in the description as I would have ordered a larger pair as I typically wear a US 11.
Dear RevZilla, when you have access to all of the sizing info on the boot please include it with the description of the product.
Lastly, my feet got hot within a minute of being inside these boots as I walked around my living room trying to decide if I could live with the tightness in the toes. Not sure why as my other leather waterproof boots don't have the same effect.

Alpinestars scores again
Bought these to wear with my Astars leathers for road trip to Deals Gap and to wear during some spirited riding on the Dragon and other twisties. Wear size 10.5-11 normally and 45 fits me perfectly. I have a B/C width and find Astars boots to fit me extremely well. The three Velcro arrangement worked well and did held during off the bike walking. Boots were comfortable and kept me dry during a ride through mild rainstorm lasting about 2 hours. We're not too warm in temperatures up to mid 80's. haven't ridden in hotter weather yet. I am an Astars convert as their cuts fit my 6' leaner build perfectly.
