Alpinestars scores again
Bought these to wear with my Astars leathers for road trip to Deals Gap and to wear during some spirited riding on the Dragon and other twisties. Wear size 10.5-11 normally and 45 fits me perfectly. I have a B/C width and find Astars boots to fit me extremely well. The three Velcro arrangement worked well and did held during off the bike walking. Boots were comfortable and kept me dry during a ride through mild rainstorm lasting about 2 hours. We're not too warm in temperatures up to mid 80's. haven't ridden in hotter weather yet. I am an Astars convert as their cuts fit my 6' leaner build perfectly.

Alpinestars boot
Comfortable, high quality boot. I have not been in the rain yet, and I do not usually ride in the rain, however the boot is really sealed up nice and I am sure my feet would stay warm and dry. Very comfortable to walk around in. I would highly recommend this boot.

Widest boots in the world.
These are the first footwear I have ever found that are wide enough for my feet in a reasonable size. Normally I have to go up a size or two, but these are comfortable for me in what they call as 12.5 (I normally wear a 13W or at 14W).
I highly recommend them if you have wide feet! They're comfortable and warm. They seem reasonably tough but I haven't had to try out their protection value yet.
The only suggestion I have is they could reverse the hook vs. loop sides of the velcro on the top flap, sometimes it wants to catch your socks as you put your feet in.

Solid
The boots are pretty solid. I was looking at them for a more intense riding boot. The ankle feels secure and is very comfortable to ride in. The only complaint is that it did start to get scuffed right after using it from the gear pedal.

Great Boot
Have had these boots for about two year now and no troubles - fit great our of the box. Never had to really worry about their protective qualities (thank god) but the sturdy construction and fit gives me confidence. Also, plenty comfortable to walk around in for a few hours after a day or so of break in time. Have not been caught in too much wet but the little rain I've seen in them has not been a problem. Would buy them again.

Good waterproof boot
My husband and I live in Washington, and it rains a ton! I got these for him as a gift and he loves getting to work with dry, warm feet. He says they are a bit stiff, but that's to be expected for a boot.

A-Stars Roam Boot
What can I say? This is my third pair of Astars and I love 'em. They fit well right of the box, just like my other boots. And after walking around indoors for about an hour, they were comfy and quiet. I commute 60 miles a day for work and it's usually wet. A good ol' fasion NW rain can quickly get everything really wet but not my feet! I did apply the Astars Bees Wax liberaly before the first use and I think that's the key to getting boots to perform well for long periods. They don't look too bad either. At first I really didn't like the three velcro strap closure system. It's kinda Mad Max looking which I don't care for, but it's growing on me. Once on, they're a pretty snug but comfortable fit. Lots of room in the toe box, and supportive around the ankle. You don't get that "Ski Boot" feel when walking. More ilike a quality hiking boot feel.
I highly recommend these boots for commuting and touring. Oh yeah, you gotta buy them from Revzilla!

Good Boot
I ordered these as a commuter for warmth and rain protection. I commute only 30 minutes each direction but can attest to the warmth and protection. I was worried that they would be hot during the afternoon when it warms up but they were still comfortable. I also wore them to walk around for about an hour and can say they were still comfortable as a walking boot for that time. I would purchase them again and recommend them.
