Great pants
I use these to commute to work about 20 miles. The air flow is great, and the ride is comfortable. I work in an office and the dress is business casual, so it's good to be able to have pants that are great for the ride in and allow me to change easily.

I like it
I was on the border of Medium and Large when I ordered. I do weightlifting so I have muscular legs compared to my waist/hip. Ordered both Medium and Large. Medium was perfect fit, but I have been advised by more experience rider that it will not be comfortable on the bike. Also if I wanted to wear something under I will not be able to with medium. So I kept the Large one and I feel good with that decision. Also no restocking fee at Revzilla, so no worry if size does not fit.

Quality you expect from A*
Sizing: 5'7", 150lbs, ~30inch inseam. I got the Small. The waist is perfect. The length is a bit long, but with boot on it's fine.
Pants are great build quality. The kneepads and hip padding fits on me nicely. The side zips allow me to put on/take off pants w/o removing my A* boots first.
I use it as a commuter. I get to work and strip it off and have my jeans under. Air flow is adequate and I they're quite comfortable even if I wore them as a stand alone pant.
Despite the relatively expensive price for textile pants, I highly recommend it if you're looking for a quality pair of over pants.

Great fit for women too!
I'm a female rider but I've worn my BF's Alpine Stars air pants so much that I wanted to get my own pair! I can't wait to wear my own. These fit me better than women's pants & I am anxious to break these in this summer! ALL THE GEAR, ALL THE TIME

Nice pant for an over pant style fit.
I am 5'6" 140lbs. 30x30 jeans. The small fit like a gloove. I wore them today at 40 degrees with just jeans and longjohns underneth and it was alil chilly. The seat in the pants are slick and smooth, slide all over my bike seat, you better be holding on tight. They are not track pants so if the knee pads are droppy so be it. In a perfect world they could be a couple inches shorter. The padding in the hips are next to nothing, but is better than nothing. They should be great in summer with a pair of shorts and armour shorts to add more protection. I would imagine they could breath better then leather pants.
If your gonna ride, then RIDE! Hit it! You know your going too and these pants are ideal for a protective bottom peice. Forget about those so called kevlar bluejeans. Good quality, easy to take off without taking off my hiking boots. I look forward to putting many miles in these.

Flow a ton of air but armor is just OK
Easy to take on and off, flow a ton of air and look good. Attachment zipper comes attached to a "jacket" side that you can use to sew into a jacket that doesn't come with that option. I recommend using it. The knee/shin armor feels chintzy when compared to my New Drake Air textile pants. I usually wear size 36 in jeans and ordered an XL. It feels like an OK fit, but the knee armor can move around when not on the bike. I have muscular legs so I'm not sure a skinny guy would like the armor setup. The waist fastening system has a pretty strong hook that's easy to use and feels sturdy. I zip these pants to T-GP-R jacket and everything stays right where you need it when I'm all zipped up. When I used to wear them with my Dainese Avro, the pants would sag a little when off the bike. If I had to do it over again, I would have liked to try a large...even though I use them only as overpants. I am 6'1", and 215 lbs with a somewhat athletic build.

Nice pants, better than other brands I have owned.
I was a little hesitant about buying black pants to wear in the Texas heat. But I had just bought an Alpinestars T Breeze jacket and wanted something armored to match. I have worn the pants twice and like how they fit and breathe. The hip pads could be a mite bit thicker. The knee pads are tops. Getting in and out is easy, as the zipper pattern allows you to get in and out with your boots on. No hopping around. The sizing is correct, a bit of a gusset in the sensitive area would be a plus, but no real complaints on room. The velco adjusters at the waist are a plus.

Good overpant
Fit good, 6'3" 200lb went with XL. Comfortable over a pair of jeans. Pants fit well, not baggy and not too tight. Knee armor stays where it should. Easy to put on, I take my shoes off first though. Would buy again.
