Alpinestars Hydro Sport Boots
Comfy, Practical,........Good Looking!
These are my first pair of riding boots. I have a lot to learn but with so many riding boot choices....I am happy with my selection. They are true to size......easy to slide on and slip out of. The Hydro sports have great foot bed support. As well as ankle and shin protection. The air flow is average.....I have not tested them in the rain but am confident they will prevent water intrusion. Lastly, they are sharp looking. I have received multiple compliments about their appearance. The Hydro Sports constantly deliver!!!

Bought these to replace a pair of ankle boots I bought - which I also liked - because I wanted more protection of my calf. They don't breathe super well, but they're comfy, waterproof, durable and easy to get on and off. Definitely recommend.

Excellent boots for all wheater riding
The boots are very good in all wheater. The fit is good and after a few ride, the leather extends to you feet like gloves. They are not to stiff, not to soft. In rain, there is no water infiltration.
I will test the summer riding, but they seem to pass enought air to cool the feets.
I would recommend this product.

Just the boot I was looking for!
Road my first Iron Butt in these boots, two days after they arrived. At 4am leaving Fallon, NV, with temps in the upper 40's, through rain and hail by mid-day in Salt Lake City, 80's by late afternoon, and mid-60's by the time the ride was complete in WA, these boots were great! Good highway boot for my Super Tenere (and the 1000 mile run), and was very comfortable for a 150 mile day ride on a Gold Wing.
I recommend these boots.

Great value for price point
I have put about 1000 miles on these boots and have not been disappointed with them. They are waterproof and have kept me dry during two rainstorms. They break in very quickly and are comfortable as all get out, but they do run hot. Actually, they don't breath at all, which is what I expected. That doesn't negate the fact that at 70 degrees I'm sweating pools into my boots, but that might just be my frigid alaskan heart melting. I am starting to notice significant wear to the heel of my left boot, after about 3 months of moderate use. I would not suggest any kind of hiking/extended walking in these boots as the rubber sole wears quickly on hard surfaces/in the heat. Overall a good boot for the price.

You can't go wrong with this boot.
I read the other reviews before buying because my only real concern was how they would fit. I typically wear a size 10.5 US and my feet are very narrow. I have rarely ordered footwear on line because sizing varies so much between shoe or boot manufacturers. I decided to take a chance and ordered a Euro 45. They actually fit very well. If anything they feel slightly large but a heavy sock or an insole makes them fit perfectly.
As for the features and style, again they have really hit the mark. They look sporty without being the full race look. The quality is there as you'd expect from Alpinestar. I wore them on a 1400 mile, three day trip to Chicago and found them very comfortable. I haven't tested their waterproof feature yet but I'm confident that they will deliver. I love these boots.

I saw A-stars' sizing chart, and Revzillas' addendum to it and was still not quite sure what size to get. I'm an 8-1/2, and would buy a boot in a 9. i tried 42 and 43, and sIze 43 is a US 9.
