Good, Affordable Pair of Gloves When i first got the gloves they were a bit too tight which made me think i shoud've gone a size up, and after wearing them for about two weeks they seem to be breaking in and fitting better but I would advise going a size up from what you would be normally. As for how well it holds up and protects in crashes I hope to never have an answer for that. All in all it looks great and feels good. Airflow is really good so I wouldn't recommend in cold weather. Great glove -- small! I really like this glove, especially the split knuckle design, allowing extra flexibility. That being said, they run very small, even for Alpinestars. On the measurement guide I was a medium. I purchased the large since I figured they would run small and I had to return them for an X-large. As long as you keep that in mind you'll be happy with your purchase! March 10, 2014
Good gloves for a non extreme weather. Good gloves for a non extreme weather, it has basic protection for falls. February 6, 2014
An Alright Glove for the Money First off I am a road bike rider. I have ridden in these through an entire season and also through multiple weather conditions. Functionality: It is a pretty all-around glove. It can be used for all types of riding dirt/road whatever. It is a mesh glove so obviously this glove is really not much for keeping you "warm" but it is very comfortable and fits the hand pretty well. Unless you treat these gloves very harshly and do not crash and slide with these gloves they will surely hold up will, BUT if you ride super hard like on dirt or crash and burn with these.....they will most likely need replaced. They have great carbon knuckle for protection and have a very thin abrasive palm, but wont hold up mush against the asphalt. If you wear these gloves in rain or wet conditions....they will get wet and stay wet...enough said! Features: The style is the regular for alpine, pretty cool, nothing crazy stellar! The air flow for these are pretty awesome and will keep you pretty cool in the warmer months of the year. They can easily be ridden for late spring, summer, and early fall months. But like I said before not made for warmth. Overall these are very comfortable glove for the warm months and make you feel comfortable while gripping your handle bars. For the price they are pretty nice, they will hold up against normal wear and tear and will protect you against a fall or minor slide, but on the asphalt wont give you tooooo much! If you are a street rider I would wear these for only the warmest months....other than that I would spend a little more to get some full leathers just for the protection against asphalt and abrasion. Dirtbikes and offroad....these would be a pretty great catch. February 3, 2014
Excellent glove coming from an MX rider! When I was younger I had a lot of experience riding motocross, this glove feels much like an MX glove. Very breathable, comfortable leather palm and some extra protection (and style I must add) from the carbon fiber knuckles. The features of this wrist length glove are sufficient and the pull tab for getting the glove comfortable situated on your hand is wonderful. One fear with getting gloves is about the fit, I went off of the guide and some of the reviews and did order one size larger than needed but still the gloves are a tad tight and small around the tips of my fingers. Most likely to the fact I have sausage fingers, but my hopes due to the fact it is mostly composed of a leather palm and suede is that there will be a bit of give the longer I wear the gloves. But overall the gloves have a great feel, very easy to squeeze into and a built in pull tab allows you to safely pull on the glove without tearing at the seems. Will update once I get on the road this spring but extremely happy I purchased these when I did they look great alongside my Fulmer jacket! January 13, 2014
Good all-rounder Good fit, comfort, easy to put on and take off, good airflow. So far nothing bad about this glove, put about 900 miles on them. January 6, 2014
Poor Quality Like others have said the quality is poor. The cover over the strap came apart in just a few weeks of riding. Not a big deal, just annoying. Also the stitching is starting to come apart between my thumb and index finger. These have only been used for a month now, so will be ordering a different style soon. They look and feel great but durability wise suck so I would look at something different. September 27, 2013
Good gloves for the price Nice looking gloves. They fit nice too Cons: the covering over the wrist strap seperated after a week. Other than that good glove. September 16, 2013

carlos p: I needed a pair so I choose alpinestars, this was the cheapest pair of gloves got it for $49. Very stylish, comfortable, smooth on hands. The only thing I don't like is the seam located inside your fingertips, its somewhat annoying to your fingers. Well that just my opinion. Aug 22, 2013
