Alpinestars Arbiter Gloves
Like others have said the quality is poor. The cover over the strap came apart in just a few weeks of riding. Not a big deal, just annoying. Also the stitching is starting to come apart between my thumb and index finger. These have only been used for a month now, so will be ordering a different style soon. They look and feel great but durability wise suck so I would look at something different.

Good gloves for the price
Nice looking gloves. They fit nice too
Cons: the covering over the wrist strap seperated after a week. Other than that good glove.

I have had these gloves for a couple months now and they have been great. Yesterday I slid my bike out avoiding a collision. I was going 20 mph and the gloves ripped at the seams of the palms on both of my hands. Luckily I stopped sliding when I did because my left palm was fully exposed. I'd hate to hit the ground going at highway speeds with these gloves. The leather is too thin where it counts.

Quality is good but not Alpinestars good.
I like the looks and feel of the glove but close inspection indicates quality is not up there with the typical high end Alpinestars. Good value since I was able to pick it up on sal.

Excellent for Summer Riding
Can't complain about these gloves, they offer everything I was looking for. I wanted a nice looking, light and short pair of gloves for the summer season. I went into the Philadelphia Boutique store and tried a bunch on but loved the A*'s the most. I felt the fit was slightly larger mainly in the thumbs but that might just be me. I'm glad I'm Philly so I could physically try them on or else I would of likely had to return them with the size I was initially planning on buying.
Protection-wise it is what it is. If you are looking for the most protection you can find on the market for your hands you're looking in the wrong place with these. I am confident the Arbiter will do it's job if you fall but I hope I am not one reviewing that. Go buy a pair, for the price you won't cry as much if you had to buy a second set because you lost a glove or something.

Like the fit, look and airflow
Very comfortable... I am a commuter and I absolutely loved these.

4k mile review
Purchased these in May of this year, now it is August and they have completely falling apart and went in the trash. They served their purpose, some protection is better than none, but you get what you pay for. I put 4000 miles on these guys in 3 months and it was to much. The palms developed holes larger than a quarter in multiple places before it went fully, wore holes in the pointer and index fingers on both sides. They broke in nicely and were extremely comfortable, flowed plenty of air and looked pretty sharp. IMO spend a little extra and get a more durable glove if the means allow.

Alpinestar Never Fails
I bought these gloves about 2 wks ago and I wanted to test them out before I made any reviews. Overall, I can't say anything wrong about these gloves. For the most part, people are right on how they feel tight at first but after 2-3 days of riding with them they broke in nicely. The only downside I see in these gloves is that it can easily frizz if they get caught on the velcro strap, it's happened to me a couple times on my right thumb but no biggie.
The quality of the glove is very soft and comfortable compared to the Atlas Gloves I had previously. This was the main reason I got these, instead of getting the same pair over again. They snug your hand nicely which I find to be a plus when riding. For the most part, if you're looking for glove to be easily thrown on and you want comfort then these gloves will do the job!
Also, one last thing. You can't deny that these gloves just look sweet lol
