got these to replace an old pair of Troy Lee shorts. the air flow is great. the fit is good. the legs did roll up a bit at I put on the leathers. the pads felt a bit thin compared to my old pair and the other pair I bought at the same time. great for those 105+ days but will use the other pair more often for the added protection.

Protection balanced with comfort.
I wanted more padding to protect my hips and tail bone in falls. My husband purchased a product with armor over the hip padding but that felt too bulky and awkward to me. I felt this was a good compromise. I recently low sided my dirt bike twice in one weekend and only got a mild bruise on one thigh. On a hot day this does get pretty sweaty but that is to be expected as more protection is added. I am happy with this purchase overall.

Looking for extra padding under my Kevlar riding jeans. I'm bony, so want to protect my hips and tailbone areas. Hope this works.

great inside the suit for better padding, racesuits dont have any padding in that area.

I need some hip protection under my Kevlar riding jeans. These look like they are well vented and have good hip protection. Troy Lee has a great reputation.

Great for protection under riding jeans that don't have hip protection.

I usually wear a size 34-36 pant or short. What size would you recommend?
Spencer D on Jun 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I am 175lbs and wear a 32-33. I bought a large which fit on waist but was loose and the legs were not tight to body. I have ordered a medium which is not delivered yet.
Large would be my recommendation for 34-36
How will these shorts do in temperatures of 75°F, 85°F, and up to 95°F?
FirecrackerJim on Aug 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: >85=Hot! Hot! Hot!... But suppose discomfort is preferable to skin graft?
I wear 34 pants but my waist measurement is 40. What size should I get?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure how to answer your question. I believe they fit true-to-size.
