Klim Fuel Pak
Perfect hydration pack
Have had one for about a year now and love it so much that I just ordered one for my brothers birthday.
I use this on a motorcycle as well as for mountain biking. It's an awesome little pack that holds water as well as a snack, basic bike tools, wallet, phone, keys...etc.
Fit is a little loose, but it held on during some pretty gnarly mountain bike rides and at 100+mph on a motorcycle.
Very durable and the ability to clean/dry the reservoir by turning it inside out is awesome.

Just what I was looking for. A minimalist bladder with a small pocket.
Simple bladder with good quality build. Love the fold over flap and ability to turn inside out to clean and dry.

Kilm Quality - Easy to clean
The straps are comfortable and the pack stays in place on my back when riding. I like this pack for several reasons. Although I didn't even know about this feature when I ordered it, the bladder is very tough material and can be turned inside out to clean. That allows the inside that holds the water to dry completely. The drink tube disconnects and seals the bladder so it doesn't leak.
There is zero plastic taste. - Hugely importantly. It is easy to fill too.
And a bonus for me is that the bladder and drink tube fit directly into my 2013 BMW Rallye jacket back bladder pouch.

A no frills hydration pack that you don't know you're wearing!
A riding friend suggested getting a hydration pack for taking longer trips with the ST1100 and trail riding with the DE350. All the other packs I looked at were hydration packs as well as backpacks of varying capacities. All I wanted was a way to carry water and this Klim pack does exactly that. 3 liters of water in an easy to use set up that is comfortable to wear and easy to use while wearing my Qwest helmet.
I just got back from a trip to NC and this pack worked great!

Great low-profile hydro pak
This is my second Kilm product and I must say..Kilm really does make durable quality products.
Comfortable and low profile.
Holds a lot of water.
Easy to clean because reversible.

Fills a need not addressed by any other hydration pack - strictly hydration.
I bought this for my specific need. I high-capacity hydration pack (i.e. 3 liters) with little to no auxiliary compartments. Other manufacturers like Camelbak make 3 liter packs, but they tend to be far more bulky and fully functional backpacks. The only thing I want on my back is my water and the Klim handles that in spades. It is also excellent value, costing only $5 than the equivalent Camelbak...which only offers 2 liter bladder (I may be off on that number...it may only be 1.5 liters, but I KNOW it's not a 3 liter).
On the cons side, I'm not a fan of conspicuous branding (i.e. "Klim" in big silver letters on the back) and the filling process rates on the okay side (admittedly Camelbak is better here) and the bite valve seems simple, but again, this pack's sole purpose is to hydrate.
I gave protection & durability an average as I have not had this pack long enough to rate it in this area, however Klim does have a good reputation so it gets an average.
Airflow seems irrelevant as this pack will never be used at an angle that would lead to a perception of its affecting airflow, so it gets an 'average' rating in this area as well.
If your plan is to carry "stuff" and water, look to Camelbak. If you want to keep the weight on your back to a minimum and not stop to fill up your hydration bladder as often, look no further, this is it.
