So glad I bought this I love this hydration pack. I did the research, and settled on this one. I have had friends offer to buy it from me. It's light weight, easy to use and fill, doesn't leak from the mouthpiece, and easy to care for. It's one of the lager bladders I have found for this price range. I was so glad to have it this summer, and I didnt find a single issue with it. It was lighter weight than most of my friends hydration pack, and more breathable. To clean it, I used a plastic hanger to keep the bladder open, and let air dry. It has a strap in front to help just the fit. I was able to use over my T, or over a summer jacket on longer rides. Was easy to adjust and situate as needed. Again, extremely easy to fill. Once I had been on a very long trip and was able to just add were and cups of ice for the next leg. Highly recommended!! Happy with this product I enjoy the locking mouthpiece so it doesn't leak.. July 20, 2015
A very good value I checked out all the hydration products available, bladders & pack and the Kim is at the top. Price was much better than the others and the bladder/mouthpiece system is as good as they come. The pack shape is very slim and can be used for carrying a little lunch with a liter of water. Outstanding Just finished a 2800km ride in the Queensland summer. I honestly wasn't sure on this pack before I left and was worried I'd have to find space for it in my luggage if I didn't like it. Neednt have worried at all. The pack was light and unobtrusive and didn't restrict airflow or get hot on my back. Loved realising at the end of a long days ride that I'd had 2-4L of fluids I probably wouldn't have stopped for otherwise. Also the way that the Klim bladder unzips and allows full access means you can freeze a bottle of water overnight, cut the bottle off in the morning and put the whole giant ice cube in the pack keeping your water cool for longer. I had guys on the ride with other brands of hydration pack quite envious of that feature. December 2, 2014
best hydration pack I've owned Holds a ton of water and has a small and compact design for the trails. The backpack can hold the bladder, my phone and a reduce which is all I need November 10, 2014
Good product this product is just what I was looking for, is not to heavy and can use it when i´m on my bicycle or motorcycle October 22, 2014
The Klim Fuel Pak is just what I wanted! The Klim Fuel Pak delivers exactly as needed. The 3 liter capacity is excellent, the comfort when wearing is great. I like to wear a hydration inside my jacket in hot weather with ice in the pack. Plenty of room in the Fuel Pac to keep me cool and hydrated! March 19, 2014
Perfect hydration pack Have had one for about a year now and love it so much that I just ordered one for my brothers birthday. I use this on a motorcycle as well as for mountain biking. It's an awesome little pack that holds water as well as a snack, basic bike tools, wallet, phone, keys...etc. Fit is a little loose, but it held on during some pretty gnarly mountain bike rides and at 100+mph on a motorcycle. Very durable and the ability to clean/dry the reservoir by turning it inside out is awesome. November 11, 2013

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Ken P: I love KLIM products and this Fuel Pak perfectly fits my Adventure riding application without the bulk. I wanted a "minimalist" hydration pack, not a backpack, and this is perfect! Jun 27, 2015
JAVIER D: Great product 100% satisfied Jun 21, 2015
anthony h: I do a lot of canyon riding here is SoCal and it gets over 100 degrees very often. This bag holds plenty of water to last the entire ride. Also the best feature is that the water bag completely open at the top letting me dump in entire ice trays to get my water frozen. Also has a small zipper pouch inside that is perfect for my wallet phone and keys love it! May 1, 2015
Lance M: Lots of great reviews. Apr 30, 2015
Chad W: Best buy in a hydration system for moto sports Feb 10, 2015
Richard M: Long rides in hot climates need a convenient way to hydrate. The 3L water bladder carries enough to make it through the next fuel stop. Interior plastic 'window' lets you check water level without taking the bladder out of the pack. Nice features. Great Klim quality. Jan 26, 2015
Robert H: Great quality at a reasonable price Oct 4, 2014
Rick G: Small enough to fit into the space in my Scott Jacket or can be used seperately--like Klim products Nov 25, 2013
Thomas R: needed a hydration pack Oct 28, 2013
Douglas H: Value for price and quality build/durability Sep 19, 2013

Arthur A asked: Hi, Are the straps long enough so that a person who wears an XL Klim Badlands Pro doesn't have an issue getting it on and it being too tight?

My concern is that wearing it outside of an XL bulky jacket like the Badlands Pro the straps won't be long enough, therefore making a tight fit...

Jeff M: Hey. I wear it over my xxl jersey and the straps are plenty long enough. You should be fine over an xl jacket. Nov 7, 2015

Valerie R: I am going to go out on a limb here and say yes. My husband wears 2xl and it goes over his 250lb frame and his Leatt 5.5 HP armor. He leaves the front clasp under his Leatt neck brace. You could easily wear this under your jacket and clip the mouthpiece to the front of your jacket. Of all the hydrators he has had, he likes this one the best! Hope that helps. PS. Straps are adjustable, my husband is a big man. Nov 6, 2015

Mike N: I use mine over an XL Fox Titan protector when I go trail riding on the dirt bike. I'm sure it will go over a badlands jacket. Nov 6, 2015

Peter V: I'm a XXL & the straps are plenty long enough over a sweatshirt & jersey. Never wore it over a jacket.

Arthur A: Thanks for all the responses!

Received it and adjusted all the straps, put on my Badlands Pro then the hydration pack. With about an inch left on the straps it fits exactly as I wanted.

When I initially put it on with the bladder empty it fell like it was riding high on my back. But once I put water in it, it settled into a nice position. So I can say as a guy that wears an XL at 225lbs necked the pack will go over a XL badlands pro!

Gerald B: I would think so as I wear an extra large and although I usually wear the Klim on the outside of a shirt I have worn it with my light weight jacket and it was fine. I have about 6" of extra strap for adjustment so should be enough to go over a heaver jacket with no problem. Nov 6, 2015

Mason B: I don't have the Klim badlands pro, but I do wear a Leatt 5.5 HD Pro chest and neck protector. The 5.5 HD pro chest protector is a very large and bulky piece of gear, but I am able to wear the drink pack on the outside with no issues. Nov 9, 2015

Rick G: Did not have good luck with this--the seams came apart during the first three days of riding and Klim would not warranty it Nov 6, 2015

John S: I wear a badlands L and there is still plenty of room and strap length to spare Nov 6, 2015

Khai T asked: This is a weird question, but could you use this fuel pak for carrying actual fuel (as in gasoline)? Is there a way to both fill and drain fluid without spilling everywhere?

I ask because my RC390 has a tiny tank at 2 gallons, and realistically with 3/4 gallon I could increase my range by by 30% for longer rides.

Maybe there's a better option?

Thanks in advance.

Jeff K: No! Get a Rotopax fuel container or a larger aftermarket tank. There is no way I would wear a bag of gasoline on my back while riding. Nov 18, 2015

Khai T: Nevermind I'm just going to use a few MSR bottles. You can delete this :) Nov 18, 2015
