You Get What You Pay For
Klim makes to two types of suspenders. The Regular ones ($25.99) work only with Klim pants that have belts or partial belts, such as their Baja pants. Velco is used to make a loop around the belt.

Their Delux Suspenders ($49.99) attach to both the rear and the front of the pants with a snap system. These appear to be designed to work with any pants, although I've only tried them on a beltless pair of Mojave pants.

$50 is a lot of money for a pair of suspenders, but having to continually pull your $400 (or any price) pants up creates a level of irritation that $50 is a small price to avoid.

Can you get a pair of suspenders that would work fine for less money. Probably. A quick search on google with "suspenders" as the search term brings up whole sites devoted to suspenders. In my case, I didn't care to try this pair, and that. I simply wanted my pants to stay up.

I had Klim's Regular suspenders and knew their Deluxe version would do the trick for my other pants.

Also, kudos to Revzilla. I ordered on a Sunday night and they were delivered Wednesday morning. Now, if it will stop raining - as of this writing, here in NE Georgia, we are 14" over the annual average - I wanna ride. I wanna ride fast. No, faster than that. I wanna scare myself. I wanna look death in the eyes, secure in the knowledge that my pants will stay up.

klim rocks
even with something as simple as suspenders klim once again shows why they are the best. the construction is bomb proof. the clasps hold extremely well. however, I'm having loops sewn into my pants so I can use the integrated loop system.

Good quality, but perhaps best suited for Klim pants
I purchased these for use with one of my four zip-together two-piece leather riding suits, as I have lost some weight and the pants tend to droop, even though they are zipped to the jacket..

On one of my other suits, I have used generic snowboard suspenders in an H-pattern, and this worked well. Knowing Klim makes good riding gear, and wanting to try Y-pattern suspenders, I decided to give these a shot for use on another (identical model) set of leathers.

The sliders and elastic all seem to be of very high quality. The design is very good, providing comfort over the shoulders.

The suspenders are "universal" in that they have removable clips for normal pants, and dedicated hooks for Klim pants.

The only downside is that the "universal" clips are not quite aggressive enough to provide for a very secure hold. While there's no chance they can damage your pants (unlike the aforementioned snowboard suspenders with "jaw" clips) the Klim clips are just on the wrong side of gentle vs secure. Not a deal breaker, just a consideration.

Good product and recommended for those with the correct connectors.

pricey, quality product
Got these for my Olympia air pants. They have loops built in, but fastened with Velcro on one end. Ended up sewing the Velcro end, as it kept coming loose.
They now easily fasten to the loops, and I can still use the jacket to pant zipper.
If I were to use the supplied clamps, I could not use the zipper.

They do what they are advertized to do ... Hold your pants up
Best suspenders I've owned, and I was a fireman for 33 years, so I know suspenders. These Klim suspenders are generously thick and soft while remaining strong and supple all day long, day after day. I use them with my Klim Badlands trousers.

nice fit
It's nice the straps split halfway up my back because it helps keep them in place. Option to use the clamps or remove them to attach the tabs to loops in your pants. Elasticity gives for easy motion but is firm - nice balance.

Great suspenders
Got these to use with my Klim Latitude pants. Suspenders make the pants feel much more secure and easily attach to the built in suspender loops on the pants. I picked these over the non-Deluxe ones as the Y-split in the back is much higher so I felt there would be less chance of the suspenders slipping off my shoulders to the sides. The wide elastic is very comfortable and once on, I don't even know they are there.

Good but overpriced
I bought these because I wanted the versatility of both the clamp and loop connection for different pants. They are fine for this; but are pretty pricey. I could have likely found a more economical equivalent if I'd taken the time to shop around.

already own a pair. They don't hold up well if you are changing them out between pants. The tabs pop open due to wear, so you are better off with one pair per pant.

gotta hold my drawers up ya know. seriously, I just bought some klim Dakar pants and on longer rides they tend to ride down a bit.

Well made heavy duty suspenders to hold up heavy Aerostitch Darien and Revit pants. They have padded jaw clips for pants that don't have suspender loops sewn in already, and without the clips, are easy to use with pants that have the loops. Versatile, but pretty pricy.
John H on Aug 26, 2014
My standard Klim suspenders kept falling off my shoulders under my jacket. This version has a central back piece rather than dual back straps, so hopefully will not spread across my back. And these should work with my Dakar pants, too.
