I was searching for a woman's jacket and this one came up with the woman's jackets. I was a little disappointed when I got it just to discover that it is a man's jacket. If I would have known that then I would have ordered an extra small instead of the small. Now I have a jacket that is a little too big, but I feel its a waste of time to return it because I needed something right now. It is a great wind blocker. I went riding when it was 38 degrees out and it kept me warm. I also rode when it was 58 degrees out and I did not get to warm. I am a beginner rider and I feel very safe in this jacket with its padding and the jacket is very easy to move in.

If you like Velcro you'll love this jacket. Shoulder cut too boxy. Should form fit to shoulder better. The sizing is right and there is plenty of flexibility with this jacket. Lots of venting and a removable liner. Haven't tested water barrier effectiveness. Overall a good jacket and worth the money. Revzilla ships fast and returns and refunds are quick. Most companies take several days to credit a refund. Revzilla is within a day.

Purchased the red/black jacket. Riding in 40-ish F weather is fine. I'm 5'9", 220lbs, 48 chest, and XL fits fine with the liner in. I gave it a complete go over and tear down, and everything seems constructed well and was without apparent defect. Seems light, yet warm. I appreciate the mid and lower waist adjustments - it keeps the liner closer to my skin, which really seems to help keep pockets of cold air out. It is slightly longer than my summer jacket, which I appreciate. Sleeves can tighten down well enough, but on the really cold days I switch to gauntlets that cover the sleeves (instead of going under them like my old set). My favorite feature are the lumbar pockets. Gaunts fit in there without a problem. Shipping was timely. I would recommend this jacket, and so far am very pleased with Revzilla. (Triumph Street Triple R)

I have been very impressed with the overall function and design of the jacket; and considering the cost, the value is high for this product. The vent system works really well, though if you have the shoulder/arm vents open and are at speed the vents pop open like a set of Boeing 747 air-brakes; you can really feel the drag. This seems to increase rider fatigue a bit. I suspect some of this will lessen when I learn how to best "operate" the vents. Range of motion is great as I don’t feel restricted. The jacket seems true to size and the sleeves are long enough that you can reach the bars without the sleeves running up your forearms.
Another observation deals with durability. Since I am experiencing an "Indian" summer in my neck of the woods, I have to take out the thermal lining for my evening commute home (78 degrees Fahrenheit) and then reinstall the liner for my morning commute (38 to 48 degrees Fahrenheit) to work – 56 high-speed miles round trip. The liner zipper works well, but trying to snap the small color-coded left and right arm sleeve liner retention tabs (two for each arm) to the corresponding color-coded shell elastic loops is a pain and I’ve had one elastic loop pull free from its anchor point. This is kind of a nit-picky thing, but if this failed after 3 weeks, what other areas might fail? Probably not much if anything, but a small concern just the same.

I really, really like this jacket. Most of the year I wear a Tourmaster Sonora jacket because it's mesh and keeps me cool in the Southern heat. However, it's getting to be that time of year when temps are unpredictable and can swing wildly during the course of the day. I wore this jacket recently on a ride that went from the low 50s in the am to the low 80s in the afternoon. The Transition 2 was really comfortable in the cooler temps with the liner in, and as the day progressed I removed the liner, then opened all the vents. With the vents open it moves an impressive amount of air and I was comfortable all day.
Tourmaster fits me well - and I'm not a small guy at all. I actually find the fit and materials more comfortable than competing gear (I've owned most of the brands out there) and I think it looks good too.
Money well spent.

I have only used this jacket for a short time, but it seems very comfortable with or without the liner. I like all of the features, the biggest problem I will probably have is trying to find what pocket I put something in. This jacket will get a real test late summer when I do a 3 week tour of Norway and surrounding countries. I will write another review at that time.
